They watched him sit at a table opposite theirs, he continued chatting with this woman acting very affectionate.

But there no signs they were romantically involved so she calmed herself down and waited.

But she could no longer enjoy her meal, John could feel her emotions through the mate’s bond.

He reached out and touched her hand, Suzie smiled at him. Then they continued eating.

As werewolves, the amount of food they could consume was much greater than normal people.

They decided to let lose and order a full table, the other guests couldn’t help but be amazed at this couple eating so much.

Of course, a place like this wouldn’t only have normal people, on one of the tables were four people.

They were all Espara, they were not members of the organisation but they were aware of it.

After all, after awakening their abilities they were approached by the organisation but they turned it down.

The four of them were childhood friends and the way they awakened their abilities were quite unique.

It was not natural like other Espara but it was caused by an encounter with a strange tree when they were sixteen.

Suzie and John were not wearing their rings so these four could clearly sense they were not human.

However the difference in their power was so great they couldn’t sense their level at all, not that it mattered.

Their knowledge of the supernatural world was very surface level, they knew a bit about the disparity in levels but it wasn’t something they took seriously.

To them, their abilities were powerful enough to deal with any monster, that has been the case for nearly two decades now.

They watched as the couple finish their meal and walk out after another couple. They nodded at each other and left.

Suzie and John followed the man and the woman he was with. They wore their rings making them undetectable.

The man drove to a hotel, Suzie got more suspicious, they followed him, he booked a room.

Less than a hour later Suzie started hearing sounds inside that hotel room and she sighed.

Her eyes turned cold, she opened the door startling the couple on the bed, before the man could say anything her hand was already around her neck.

John took pictures, then looked at the terrified woman on the bed, his eyes glowed with a faint silver.

" You will forget everything that happened here, this man slept with you then left you without a word because he’s a scumbag and you will tell his fiancée."

He used compulsion on her then they disappeared with the naked man. Suzie held him over the edge of an eight story building.

He screamed and begged but her eyes remained cold. John grabbed her hand and shook his head.

She sighed and floated down then used compulsion on him before she disappeared leaving him naked on the street.

The four Espara watched everything with confusion, one of them, the only woman in the group walked towards the naked man.

He tried to move but his body couldn’t even budge as if he was held by an invisible giant hand.

She touched her forehead then frowned. " His mind has been tempered with, the control is too strong, I can’t break it."

" Damned monsters, what do they want him to do?" One of the three men asked not hiding his hatred for Fayera.

Another one sighed, he was the largest of them. " Probably something evil, we have to watch over him." He answered.

" What about them?" The last guy asked, he was thin and long, wearing dark shades even though it was at night.

The woman shook her head, " Forget about them for now, we’ll deal with them later, we need to watch this man."

She tried to take him but his body didn’t budge confusing her, before she could react something grabbed her neck.

" I really don’t appreciate you interfering with my business." All four of them stood frozen, they had not seen how she moved.

One moment she was somewhere else and the next she had their friend within her grasp.

They moved and activated their abilities but silver transparent bubbles trapped each of them faster than they can blink.

The bubbles shot off like cannons and disappeared in the night sky but they made no sound.

John appeared next to Suzie, " Was that a good idea? Using your ability might draw unwanted attention."

" Don’t worry, I know how to limit my power, at most I’ll give off the power of a level 3." She answered.

She was telling the truth, after all, she was currently holding silver. It was burning her hand but also weakening her strength.

Combined with her actively trying to limit her power, she could only release a fraction of her strength equaling only level 3 at most.

He nodded, " Good, let go back home, tomorrow, you have to meet with your sister."

The next morning, Cassie was woken up by a notification, it was a video from her friend, the message above sounded urgent.

She opened the video and the first thing she saw was her fiance shouted naked on the street.

She panicked and was about to call him then she heard what he was saying, then she started grinding her teeth.

Cassie had always had a bad temper, it got worse when her sister disappeared, " That bastard, I’m going to castrate him."

She grinded her teeth, got off the bed and without even changing out of her pyjamas, stormed out without even showering.

She searched his location on her phone and it led her to a hotel room. " Excuse me mam, you can’t go in there."

A hotel staff tried to stop her, Cassie glared at her once, " If you stand in my way you’ll be eating wet food for the rest of your life."

The poor woman was terrified and didn’t dare try to stop her any longer, she called security instead.

Cassie stormed up and reached the room and kicked the door open. Inside she found a woman who looked confused.

It took a few seconds but the woman recognised her.

" Are you the whore sleeping with my fiancé?" Cassie asked.

The woman stuttered then confessed everything. Cassie realised her fiance was not here.

She left and drove off searching for him and found him surrounded by a crown still shouting the same thing.

" There you are you bastard, what the hell is this?" She asked.

" My love I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for any of this to happen but I can’t stop it." He tried to defend himself.

Cassie felt her blood pressure rising, " That’s your excuse for cheating on me? You can’t stop?"

He realised she misunderstood. " No no that’s not what ow ow ow." She didn’t wait for him to finish.

Just as he was about to explain she grabbed his jewels and twisted, even crown flinched. The other men around found themselves hiding their own marbles.
