Chapter 235: Chapter 235: Intentions

The human world was in chaos, the organisation had to deal with the spreading information.

On top of having to deal with an increasing number of wild Gadra as a result of Bloody Mary, Meggie and the others releasing their full power.

Their hands were full, the leaders kept cursing Meggie and her spawn but they couldn’t do anything to her, they’ve already imprisoned her.

Speaking of, the vessel transporting Meggie arrived at other realm, another wilderness, this one was relatively calm.

The atmosphere at least was, it was not a tundra with piercing cold winds or covered in flames and smoke.

It looked like a normal world on the verge of destruction, there were sea, oceans, lakes and old trees.

The tree were dead and dry but they still stood tall, however this was merely on the surface.

Of the seven wilderness, only two were disconnected to Alguard this service as a prison and this was not one of them.

Which is what confused not just Meggie but everybody in the vessel. This was the Western Wilderness.

Of all the wildernesses it was the most accessible even more than the northern wilderness.

The vessel sailed slowly across the silent ocean, its waters were so calm they appeared like an unmoving mirror.

It stopped at shore, " Alright your worthless vermin, out you go." A Minotaur shouted with a deep voice.

" It’s best you watch your words kid, you might never know when a cat might grab your tongue." Maleficent threatened the Minotaur.

Knowing who she was, he took a step back before remembering she was bound by esper sealing cuffs.

" Perhaps your situation hasn’t registered to you but here, you’re nothing." He leaned closer, his stinky breath assaulted her nose.

She leaned back to avoid it, " Is that so? Well then, hope I never get out of here." He yanked even harder than others throwing her off the ship.

Witches weren’t known for physical strength, without her magic or esper, being thrown from a height of 34 metres stung a bit.

She stood back up and dusted herself off then searched for Meggie, they might not get along now but they are still sisters.

More so than others in fact, after all they did grow up together. Both of them are daughters of the nine mothers.

Morgana was the daughter of Nimue of alchemy, Maleficent is the daughter of Alferia of Nature.

Until 12 thousand years ago, the two of them were an unbreakable pair but Morgana fell in love and everything went downhill.

After searching for some time they found each other, they stuck together and waited. They knew there was a reason they were brought here instead of one of the two prisons.

As expected, the leader of the prison guards stood at the bow of the ship. " Listen uo you lot.

Lately, the Gadra occupying this forsaken place have been quite agitated, your task for the next 100 years.

Is to fight the waves back preventing those Gadra from breaking through to Alguard. As such, your chains will be removed.

You will be able to use your esper and before you go thinking you can escape, you’re free to try.

Those with teleportation abilities magic, don’t think that will help you either, you can teleport within the realm but trying to get out will end in your destruction.

The ship took off, Maleficent frowned. " This is strange, if their purpose is for us to hold back the things living here, then why split us up?"

Meggie’s eyes remained as cold as ice, " To take Adrian as far away from me as possible or rather, hold him hostage."

Maleficent looked even more confused, " That doesn’t make sense, wouldn’t it work better for them if he was here?

Besides, if he was the target then leave others with him as well, wouldn’t more people be better here?"

Meggie shook her head, " You still don’t understand me sister. If Adrian was by my side, what would I have to fight?

I would just let the Gadra through and use that opportunity to escape with him then go into hiding.

As for your second question, did you not notice, none of those left behind with Adrian were above level 6.

Knowing the things who call this place home, they would’ve been nothing but a burden instead."

Her words made Maleficent sigh, " They’re going through a lot of trouble to get you mad aren’t they?"

Meggie giggled but there was no joy in it, Maleficent felt nothing but rage and hatred from they giggle.

" Anyways, it’s best we prepare, the vegetation here is mostly poisonous but at least most of them are old and potent.

I should be able to make some poison given a few hours, can you gain control of the plants around here?" She asked.

Even though Meggie can use druid magic since she’s learnt magic of eight covenants, Maleficent was an actual druid just as Meggie was an actual alchemist.

Her control over nature was significantly better than Meggie’s. She closed her eyes and then opened them.

" It will take some time, I have to actively infuse my esper into them transforming them into my own.

I should be done with this forest in about 16 hours, how long before you can make your poison potions?"

Meggie shrugged, " I don’t even have the ingredients yet, but besides finding the ingredients, probably about 3 hours."

They looked at each other and understood what they needed to do and so they went to work.

The others imprisoned here with them also went to do their own things, some training their abilities.

Some of them were taken from the two prisons and haven’t been able to use their esper for hundreds of years.

They needed some time getting used to their abilities again and others were polishing their abilities which have been returned to them.

At the same time in Niflheim, Adrian looked around and all he could see was ice and snow for as far as his eyes can see.

" This isn’t going to be pleasant." He started walking in a random direction.
