Chapter 197: Chapter 197: Dire Situation
" You’re heard my Lord’s and the Lady’s howl? You believe they’re fighting something?"
Suzie asked the werewolf, he nodded. Melissa showed up, she had arrived here two days ago.
As soon as she heard battle she grew excited and called her army, of every Delta, she had the largest lineage.
The number of werewolves had spiraled to over 600 in the past eight years and nearly 34 percent were from her lineage.
The second largest lineage was that of Athi followed by John. John was called the shield of the pack.
His lineage mostly had defensive type abilities with a few strength enhancement abilities.
Sam howled, the werewolves moved out, all the 13 Delta plus all the Gemma with the exception of the three who were in Legos.
They also took exactly 100 Omega, 70 from Melissa’s lineage, 20 from John’s lineage and 10 from Suki’s.
Suki’s lineage were the protectors of their queen Annie, if she was in battle, it was only right they were there.
Each and every one of them had abilities with either chains or ropes, basically extendible weapons.
Adrian had come to recognise them as sealing or binding type werewolves. 129 werewolves moved out.

Adrian received a pack call from Suzie telling him they were coming. He didn’t try to stop them.
The creature in front of them turned invisible again, both used their sensing abilities. He used lunar realm.
Annie used something similar but also different, her ability creates a region around her where she can sense brain waves.
Meaning as long as something is alive and can think she would know it even if she couldn’t read their thoughts.
Its invisibility was rendered useless against their abilities but that didn’t mean it was weak.
On the contrary, it was too strong, they could both sense its level. It was a level 6 Gadra which in itself wouldn’t be too much of an issue.
However it was focused on speed and it was much faster than both of them. Adrian could reach mach 100 with short bursts.
This thing could move faster than that with each movement and its scythe attacks were even faster.
What was more terrifying was how it could move so fast so silently, there so sonic booms and it barely disturbed the air.
Still, under lunar realm he could follow its movements quite easily. It targeted Annie first.
BOOOOOM, the ground in front of her shattered sending a shockwave in every direction.
A massive crater in the form of a wolf paw appeared in the group but they both knew she had missed.
’ Its senses are higher than expected, it can perceive my telekinesis.’ she sent him a pack call.
Adrian could clearly see that as well, ’ I need to do something about its speed.’ he swung his claws and clashed with its scythe arms.
Clang, spark flew and a tremendous force sent him reeling dozens of metres back, chains materialised in the air and flew at it like snakes.
The chains moved like branching bolts of lightning but they were still not fast enough to match its speed.
Seeing her couldn’t catch it with 14 chains he created more and more chains with lunar energy.
They covered hundreds of metres around them like an inescapable net, the creature finally had nowhere to dodge.
Just as the chains were about to bind it, the tentacles on its back lashed out followed by the two scythes.
Clang clang clang, sparks flew and a hole was cut through the chain net allowing it to fly through.
Adrian grinned, " Boom." He whispered and the chains lit up with blinding red light, the temperature around them spiked.
BOOOOOM, a huge explosion shook the air, the flames spread out covering hundreds of metres in every direction.
Annie created an invisible barrier to block the flames. When they cleared a devastated forest appeared before them.
A fifteen metres wide crater appeared where the creature had been and the trees all around them had burnt to ashes.
Yet neither of them looked relieved, he turned his head and bit to his left while conjuring a shield next to him.
The shield was cleanly cut in half but that had given him enough time. A beam of pure silver light shot out of his mouth.
The beam had the thickness of an arm and it was pure moon light, it was unavoidable. The two tentacles stabbed his chest at the same time.
The beam hit the creature on the chest, instead of burning through like normal light would.
It froze the creatures chest and pushed it back two kilometres away in a blink of an eye.
A frozen trail was left on its path, " Ghaaaa." Adrian threw up a mouthful of blood and went on his knees.
When that creature stabbed his chest it used its tentacles to pierce his heart. When he shot it away, it pulled his heart along.
’ Damnit, this is bad it will take at least 30 seconds for my heart to regenerate, I can’t my esper without it.’
This would would’ve killed any other werewolf with the exception of perhaps Annie but to him, it was just another wound.
A slightly more troublesome wound. He transmitted that to Annie, she growled in both rage and fear.
’ Adrian I don’t know if I can stop this thing by myself for 30 seconds.’ she replied, this thing was two levels above her.
’ Don’t worry I can still fight, after all, I’m a werewolf.’
It was well known that the difference between levels increases wider than the difference in ranks the higher you go.
Fighting two levels above you at level 4 is impossible, especially considering level 5 was considered a massive chasm.
The existence of a domain made the difference from level 4 to 5 much larger than the difference between the previous levels.
’ Worst still, it’s impossible to combat the domain of a Gadra since they’re internal unless your domain is much stronger, neither of us even have one.’
Gadra didn’t have the intelligence to actively control their esper and form a domain so their domain remains internal.
When they reach level 5, they subconsciously use their esper internally to create something akin to an esper core.
At level 5, this core starts as a swirling pool of esper which continuously condenses until it turns into a real core.
This was their version of a domain, it passively enhances all their abilities and physical attributes.
But above all else, they gain something called a blood trait, a single powerful ability above their normal abilities.
Considering this creatures strength, its blood trait will be hard to deal with, Adrian desperately hoped it would use after he regenerated his heart.
Because he doubted Annie could handle something like that and while he was still strong without esper.
His physical strength alone cannot deal with this thing.
