Chapter 484: Semi-Domain & First Time Outside! (1)
"How did you do it?" clenching his fingers into fists and watching as the air trembled, Neo looked at Khal with questioning eyes.
"That..." Khal seemed to be at a loss for words, but it didn’t take him two seconds to calm down and reply, "It seems the moment you have borrowed my essence my Divine Soul Sutra activated on its own, allowing your soul to become stronger and reach the same level as me."
"But how is that even possible?" Neo asked with puzzlement before throwing a punch into empty air and watching how the wind blades formed around his hand were blasted into the distance.
"So cool!"
Seeing as rows of trees were chopped down by the sharp wind blades, Khal shook his head, "I don’t know the answer for that."
[Wait, if his cultivation base is now the same as yours, doesn’t that mean he...]
Khal’s pupils shrunk a bit before they shifted back to normal and gently touched his chin, seemingly pondering about something.
Indeed, what Nova asked was a good one and if what he thought was true, things could become pretty interesting in the future.
"Hey, sloppy nuts, for a sec."
"Sloppy nuts? What the fuck does that even mean?" hearing Khal’s voice Neo stopped swinging his arms and raised a brow.
"What do you want?"
"Just close your eyes and try to inspect your body from within." Khal gestured for Neo to close his eyes without explaining a thing to him.
Neo for obvious reasons seemed to be puzzled, but when he saw Khal’s calm gaze he sighed and softly closed his eyes while focusing his attention on his body.
And exactly 5 seconds later...
"What the... I can see my insides? Huh? Wait... What the hell is this thing... Hey, Khal! Why do I have an orb inside my stomach?"
"Just as I have thought." Khal mumbled before stating, "Now focus on your head and try to seep your consciousness within."
"But what is this golden orb inside my body?!"
"That is your Essence Core, a small core allowing you to consume the Essence from the air and increase your Body Essence gradually over time. You don’t need to worry, it is harmless." Khal explained calmly which quickly did its effect and helped Neo to calm down.
"Now do what I said and focus on your head. Once you did, try and seep your consciousness into there."
"Sure." Neo nodded and with a serious expression stood still for numerous minutes before his eyes snapped wide open and stared at Khal with disbelief.
"I see, so that’s the case." Khal didn’t even need Neo to say anything as his expression and especially his eyes had already told him everything.
"Hey... That just now was my..."
"Was your Soul World, yes." Khal nodded, finding no reason to lie or keep that information a secret from Neo.
No, it was better to say he could not keep it as a secret as everything was just way too obvious.
"Then doesn’t that mean that I can too... I can also form my own Domain?" Neo asked, suddenly his eyes letting up like stars in a night sky.
"Theoretically, yes, you can. As for if you really can create your own domain, I have no clue." Khal shook his head helplessly before tossing the scroll he got from Hale to Neo.
"But we will find it out soon enough."
Neo was shocked to see that Khal gave him a scroll that literally could help him form his True Domain, but after seeing the black gate behind Khal’s back his face turned resolute and said, "Yeah, but first I will help you."
Khal didn’t say anything but just smiled before he waved his hand and vanished into thin air. Now his consciousness was back inside his real body and quickly started to transfer his Soul World into his Essence Zone.
The process was simple. While Neo channeled his essence into the gate to keep its doors open, he used his own to "grab" small parts from within his Soul World and carefully bring them outside into his Essence Zone.
Of course, because his will, soul, and deepest part of his consciousness were everywhere in the Essence Zone, while the process was slow it was safe and without any problems!
In fact, if someone looked from the side or above, they could see the dense blue floating essence around Khal’s body slowly start to shapeshift and change into grass-covered earth chunks, which slowly but surely started to spread throughout the whole Essence Zone!
Of course, because this was only a Semi-Domain, the earth chunks were half-transparent and they were even glowing with gentle blue light to prove that point!
Meanwhile, a few miles away, Sofiel watched this sight with utter disbelief, help small lips parted, revealing her pearly white teeth to the naked eye.
"Now I am pretty sure he is a monster disguised in human skin," Sofiel mumbled after witnessing the outrageous sight in front of her, but soon she shook her head and her gaze turned resolute.
Then, without any further ado, she closed her eyes and allowed somewhat thick particles of golden essences to surge out of her body and surround her from every direction in at least a 60 meters radius!
It seems, after reading Khal’s scroll she finished creating her Essence Zone and now was ready to channel her consciousness and soul, which, even with the scroll’s help will be a hard feat to achieve!
Time passed slowly, and the Essence Zone around Khal slowly but surely shifted and turned into a land filled with grass, flowers, bushes, and trees!
The only bizarre thing about this, however, was its color, as despite it having a green shade, because it was glowing with blue light it looked almost as if the leaves on the bushes and on the tress together with the strands of grasses on the ground were blue and not green!
’Is that it?’ Khal let out a soft sigh once he saw he finished, but just as he was about to signal Neo to close the gate as there was no longer any need for it, an unexpected question was asked by Neo.
