Chapter 485: Semi-Domain & First Time Outside! (2-Last)
"You want me to do what?" Khal frowned when he heard Neo’s question, which in fact more of a request than a simple inquiry.
[He must have gone crazy. Did his common sense vanish after gaining power all of a sudden?]
Standing in the middle of nothingness beside the black gate which once was the beautiful Soul World filled with greenery, Neo crossed his arms and looked straight into Khal’s eyes.
"I want you to transfer my body to the real world, just like how you did with this world."
[Yeah, no question about it. He definitely lost it.]
Khal secretly nodded his head in his heart at Nova’s statement before asking, "Do you understand what you are trying to ask me to do?"
Neo pondered silently for a few moments and nodded to which Khal only frowned deeper than previously.
"Then I hope you know what you are trying to ask from me is something impossible to achieve," Khal replied nonchalantly but from the way he looked at Neo it was obvious he was far from calm.
Neo, however, shook his head, "That is not true. In fact, exactly because we are in this situation is why it is possible."
"Normally, if our souls would have been two separate things from one another but in the same body, asking you to do what I asked for would be indeed an impossible feat to do. However, exactly because our souls are linked together is why what I ask can be done."
Khal frowned when he heard Neo’s words before saying, "Yeah, exactly because our soul is linked why this is impossible. Like, what you are asking is that I should bring your, which partly is my soul outside my body while I keep moving, breathing, and living with my real body."
Neo just smiled and shook his head, "I think you are forgetting about your Divine Soul Sutra."
"I did not forget about it." Khal shook his head and pointed out, "It’s just that it can’t do what you wish to do."
"How do you know that? Did you try to do it yet?"
"No, but I know what it can and what it can’t do." Khal asserted with confidence.
After all, he was the one who read the content of the Divine Soul Sutra and mastered it, thus it was only normal for him to know its limits. And while it was true it could allow him to transfer his soul into another body or to separate his soul from Neo’s, he could not transfer and construct Neo outside his body.
After all, as it was stated numerous times already, Neo’s figure in front of him was his soul which was linked to his. He couldn’t just transfer his soul outside his body, right?
"At least it’s at least worth a try, no?" Neo, however, was still reluctant with his opinion.
[Wait, maybe there is indeed a way to do what he just said.]
’Huh? Did you lose a few screws too or what? You know just as I do that it is impossible!’
[No, not at all. I mean, I thought the same but now that I think about it it is feasible.]
’Really, how so?’ Khal didn’t refuse this time nor did he say Nova was stupid and instead asked with curiosity.
After having Nova as a companion for almost a decade he understood her nature and knew that whenever she had an idea that usually used to work. Hence, listening to her this time maybe could help him achieve the seemingly impossible.
Nova hummed with satisfaction and quickly explained to Khal what she was thinking about. And surprisingly, the more Khal listened the more his gaze got filled with awe and shock while he even occasionally nodded his head as if he agreed on something.
This naturally didn’t escape Neo’s notice and made him frown with confusion. He even slowly started to believe Khal all of a sudden got crazy or something.
"Yeah, let’s try it."
"Eh? Try what?" Neo was taken aback hearing Khal talk all of a sudden, but even before he could have blinked twice Khal extended his hand toward him, indicating him to grab it.
"What do you want." Neo frowned deeply, not moving at all fearing Khal was trying to do something funny.
Khal rolled his eyes and said, "Just hold my hand. I will try something."
Neo was skeptical at first but after he saw that Khal didn’t seem to harm him he slowly placed his left hand atop Khal’s right.
"Now close your eyes and focus on your soul," Khal said quietly as he closed his eyes and closed his eyes too.
Neo was still confused but felt like a weird but not uncomfortable feeling appeared within his body and did as he was told.
Seconds passed silently like that in the empty and dark Soul World in Khal’s mind which quickly turned into minutes then into hours.
Then, after 2 entire hours later, suddenly a change occurred.
Whoosh!
A gentle breeze swept and crashed into the cheeks of Khal and Neo despite being no air current in the Soul World before Neo’s body slowly became more and more transparent which, in the end, vanished completely from one’s sight!
Meanwhile, outside Khal’s Essence Zone, a figure was constructed from blue essence which gradually was shaped like a human. It was Khal’s exact copy, Neo’s figure!
"It... worked?" Neo raised both hands which glowed with a soft blue glow, seemingly because his body at this moment was constructed from Khal’s essence!
"Sigh..." letting out a deep sigh which sounded as if he just threw a huge weight down from his shoulders, Khal opened his eyes and looked at Neo in front of him.
"So in the end it seems she was right. Because our soul is linked with each other I was able to direct your soul into mine, which because already being a part of my Essence Zone could be reconstructed within my Domain!" Khal mumbled quietly, a small smile even emerging at the corner of his mouth.
