Chapter 483: Unforseen Change of Events
Standing in the middle of a village in the center of a vast forest and beside a large lake, Khal stood in front of a black door with Neo standing right beside him.
The door was closed with a size about five meters tall and three meters wide. It had a deep black color with white carvings all over its surface. It also emitted a rather powerful aura despite it being nothing more but just a gate!
"So is this it? This gate will help you transfer this world outside and create your Domain?" with arms crossed before his naked but well-refined chest, Neo raised a brow.
He had been told everything that happened in the past few weeks and months by Khal and to say the least he was truly shocked beyond belief.
Although he had been trapped within his own body for more than 7 years, which in truth within the Soul Prison and Soul Word felt way longer, perhaps around its double, he was well aware of just how hard it was for humans to reach the Third Realm much less the Fourth not to mention the Fifth Realm!
Hence, seeing the obvious evidence that Khal has indeed reached the Fifth Realm in less than a decade, he could not help but feel disbelief, amusement, a hint of admiration, and a little bit of confusion and suspicion.
Khal, obviously, noticed these emotions flashing within Neo’s eyes, but decided to just ignore them and state, "In the next five months, maybe four, I will need you to keep this gate open."
"Huh? Me?" Neo instantly snapped his head at Khal, puzzled.
"Yes, you." Khal nodded before slowly explaining calmly, "Normally, I would need to use my essence to keep this gate open and slowly transfer my Soul World outside before starting to construct my domain. However, with you here, I can skip a few steps without a problem."
"What you need to do is to stay here and channel your essence into this gate which will help me keep it open. Like that, I can not only transfer this world outside but also focus on constructing my True Domain at the same time!"
Neo pondered silently after hearing what Khal said before asking, "But how will I do it? No, I have a better question. How much essence do I need? I hope you realize that I have only a few units of the essence, which to tell the truth, I don’t think will be enough to unlock this gate much less keep it open for weeks!"
"And here is where you are wrong." Khal suddenly showed a smile and raised an index finger, "Did you perhaps forget? While it is true that only I can access the powers within my bracelet, the body is still yours which includes your... our essence and Blessings."
"Huh?"
Seeing Neo’s confused gaze Khal just sighed and started to explain, "I was thinking about this ever since I mastered the Divine Soul Sutra. How come, if at the moment only I am in absolute control that both of our appearances seemed to get changed the same way and not only mine?"
"That..." Neo frowned and started to think, but it didn’t take him a few moments to realize what Khal wished to say.
"Exactly," Khal nodded his head and with a slightly wider grin asserted, "It is because while our consciousness is separate and we have different personalities, our soul is still connected to each other slightly, meaning our body too!"
"Then... You think..."
"I don’t think it. I know that you have access to the accumulated Essence within "our" body." Khal said with confidence.
"And how can I use it?" Neo asked to which Khal gestured at him to close his eyes.
"Try and see if you can sense my essence," Khal said calmly as he gently placed an index finger onto Neo’s forehead.
Neo nodded his head scarcely and did as he was told.
At the start, for several minutes he felt nothing and he was almost on the verge of giving up, but after 10 full minutes of trying suddenly he felt like something within his body cracked and a huge gush of warm sensation began to fill his whole body!
That warm sensation was, without a question, Khal’s accumulated Essence!
"It worked!" Neo snapped his eyes open with delight, but he was shocked to see that Khal was no longer pressing his finger against his forehead.
In fact, he was not even pressing it for longer than 5 seconds as that was nothing but a trick, a way to make Neo believe he was doing something hence forcing him to concentrate more.
"See? I told you." Khal said with a satisfied smile as he felt how he could share half of his Body Essence with Neo.
However, it was not even three full seconds before his face all suddenly turned grave, and watched as Neo’s body started to glow with a golden color!
"Huh? Wait... What is... happening now?" Neo became worried and anxious seeing the sudden change of event, but even before he could have gotten an answer his body exploded with golden light!
BAM!
A powerful ripples like waves immidieatly swept every direction within the Soul World and under the stupefied gaze of Khal, Neo’s Cultivation Base which until now was only comparable to the weakest First Realm Cultivator started to skyrocket!
Starting from a First Realm bottom stage cultivator, Neo’s Cultivation Base soared into the skies and within just a few seconds he became an Initial Stage Cultivator from the Fifth Realm!
Just under a few moments, his cultivation reached the exact same level as Khal, his aura becoming so dense and powerful that only those within the Fifth Realm could rival it!
"This... I feel... powerful!" Neo mumbled as he clenched his fingers into a tight fist and watched as just by that simple gesture he caused the air around his fists to shake and swirl!
