Chapter 482: Completing his Second & Third Step
"Wh... How... Where did you get this from?" muttering after snapping out of her daze, Sofiel looked at Khal with utter disbelief.
Just now, she was holding a scroll... No, a priceless treasure that could easily cause a massacre between all cultivators all around the Fifth Realm not to mention in the first four Realms!
Just how did such an item fall into the hands of the human in front of him and why is he tossing it to her as if it was just a piece of junk?
If it were her she would carry it with an insane amount of care and caution, perhaps even build an altar for it where she would create numerous traps and formations to protect it from others at all cost!
"I will give you one hour to memorize the steps within. After that, I will take it back." Khal said nonchalantly as he closed waved his hand and summoned a huge bag filled with golden pills, each seemingly being Essence Pills with various qualities!
Sofiel looked even more confused when she saw how Khal started to throw the pills into his mouth and swallow it as if they were candies, but when she realized what Khal told her she quickly focused her attention on the scroll.
Khal nodded when he saw the intense gaze and focus of winged beauty in front of him and silently kept throwing Essence Pills into his body while using his bracelet to turn them into Body Essence, further increasing his ridiculous amount of essence.
Time passed just like that in silence and an hour flew by without notice.
"Okay, times up." swallowing down the final pill Khal waved his hand and made the scroll fly into his hand before making it vanish into thin air together with his bag from his lap, very likely disappearing into his spatial ring.
Sofiel’s face turned bitter and lost when she saw the scroll that could push any cultivator to the apex within the Fifth Realm vanish, but as she understood Khal was not someone she could fight with she could only sigh helplessly and thank her memory for being good.
’From the looks of it, she successfully memorized everything.’ Khal thought in his heart as he watched how Sofiel’s cultivation speed increased several folds compared to an hour ago.
[Though, what I don’t seem to understand is why did you allow her to read the scroll? Don’t you think you are helping her a little too much despite only barely knowing her?]
Closing his eyes and letting his essence out of his body which quickly enveloped his surroundings in a 300 meters radius Khal slowly started to expand his Essence zone once again while replying;
’I help her because I have no other choice. If I want to find another body as soon as possible, as I have already stated, I will need her power. However, it won’t work out if she gets killed so I need her to get strong too.’
Then, after hearing Nova didn’t say a thing Khal added, ’Although she won’t be able to form her True Domain when I, at least she will be strong enough to compete against others except those who already created their Domain.’
[Yeah, that makes sense. After all, if hundreds of cultivators decide to attack you, you won’t be able to protect her. At least like this, she will have the chance to buy some time until you take care of the others.]
’Exactly.’ Khal nodded softly and without further ado focused on his Essence Zone which after an extra seven weeks quickly expanded from 300 meters to 1,000!
Just under three months of careful cultivation, he made the base of his Domain 1 kilometer wide in radius which meant it was 2 kilometers in diameter!
That was so ridiculously large that those cultivators who already formed their True Domain would start crying just from sheer helplessness alone as the size of an average Domain was around 100 meters not in radius but in diameter!
’Uhum... Looks promising.’ Khal nodded his head with satisfaction and quickly started to seep his consciousness into his Essence.
At the start, it was rather hard and even weird, but after following the steps he read in the scroll the process went pretty smoothly, and even before he could have noticed it his consciousness was drifting outside his body!
Right now, without using any ability or technique, he was able to perceive everything almost as if he was a ghost and could travel everywhere his essence was!
However, Khal knew that this was only the start and the difficult part will only come after this. Now he had to split his consciousness and spread it in every crook and cranny within his Essence Zone!
This, through normal means, would be insanely hard and a challenging thing to achieve but with Hale’s scroll and especially with his Divine Soul Sutra it was surprisingly child’s play!
Just in less than two weeks, he was able to split his consciousness, sensing everything that existed and was touched by his essence. Just like when he used his Heaven’s Eyes at this moment nothing could escape his detection within his Essence Zone!
After achieving this Khal quickly jumped to complete the third step which was doing the same thing as he did during the second step, but this time with his soul and the deepest part of his consciousness.
Out of all the five steps, this was the hardest as it was akin to wanting to put one’s soul into an inanimate object and continue living in it as if nothing had happened at all!
Just imagine attempting to push your soul and very being into a book or weapon through which you can still keep breathing, moving, sensing, and living. While it was easy to imagine it, in reality, it was insanely hard to achieve, perhaps could be said almost impossible!
Yet, this step which for almost 90% of the cultivators within the Fifth Realm was impossible to overcome, was the easiest phase to complete for Khal all thanks to his Divine Soul Sutra which after sensing what he wished to do immediately helped him.
It didn’t even take him a full day to connect his soul and his deepest consciousness with his Essence Zone, which as a result immidieatly formed a small gate within his Soul World and in his Essence Zone!
And through there, Khal was finally given the chance to bring his Soul World into the real world and create his own Domain!
