Chapter 476: Fifth Realm

Khal looked at Ragh on his shoulder who seemed to feel sorrow as he stared at the handsome figure of Hale not far away from him.

Hale noticing Khal’s gaze on Ragh let out a soft chuckle and quickly said, "Don’t overthink it. Even if you would have not made that bet with him I would have ordered him to follow you."

"Oh? Is that so?"

"Yes." Hale nodded, "Though, after seeing your strength today I assume you won’t really need his help."

Upon hearing Hale’s words an unsatisfied hiss escaped Ragh’s mouth to which Hale let out another soft chuckle.

"Haha, while it is indeed true as I have numerous ways to protect myself, I hope he can help me defend someone very precious to me," Khal said calmly.

"Are you perhaps talking about that Lightkin?" Hale asked with curiosity as he raised his head at the floating orb above which at this moment showed Sofiel’s figure in the middle of the Floating Coleoseum.

"Hm? Oh, no, not at all. I was talking about someone else." Khal quickly shook his head and said, "Her name is Liza and I assume she has already reached the Third Realm by now."

"Liza?" Hale raised a brow before realization flashed within his gaze and quickly closed his eyes.

And not even a second later he nodded his head gently and said, "Yeah, she is indeed in the Third Realm and it seems she... Hm?"

Khal felt relief upon hearing the first part of Hale’s sentence, but when he saw how he suddenly stopped talking he became a little bit anxious once again.

"What happened?" Khal decided to ask after seeing how Hale didn’t talk even after one whole minute.

Hale slowly opened his eyes and pondering for a second he sighed and said, "It seems you and your precious little friend are not so different from each other in the end."

"What the hell does that even mean?" Khal raised a brow which just shook his head gently.

"Don’t worry, although she chose an extremely challenging path to master, from the looks of it she is doing just perfectly fine."

"Is that so?" Khal became calm once again before he grabbed Ragh’s little body and handed it over to Hale, "Then I hope you can deliver him to her. I wish him to protect Liza once she succeeds in reaching the Fourth Realm."

After witnessing what kind of world the Fourth Realm was, Khal knew that while Liza was strong she was not as strong as him hence Ragh’s help will come perfectly in handy, especially if an Overlord wishes to kill her when she was still a low Stage cultivator!

"I see. I will definitely make sure Ragh will protect her safety once she reaches the Fourth Realm." Hale nodded as he placed Ragh on top of his shoulder, who as a result that he was held by Hale seemed to become delighted a little.

"Thank you." Khal smiled before he decided to ask Hale if he could take him to the Fifth Realm.

Naturally, Hale nodded but before he decided to teleport both Khal and Sofiel from the Floating Coleoseum into the Fifth Realm he gave Khal a small circular token which was made out of seemingly some kind of blue crystal.

Khal looked at the token and seemed to realize what the token was, thus smiled and put it into his spatial ring.

"Thank you," Khal said calmly and watched as Hale laughed before waving his hand and teleporting him away.

"Huh? How... How did we get here?" shocked and confused, Sofiel looked around and watched as she together with Khal was standing at the shore of a seemingly large ocean.

Standing in white sand, Khal looked at the azure ocean with a calm gaze before raising his head toward the dark sky which looked way different than all the skies he has ever seen before.

In all the previous Realms, the sky during nighttime was dark and filled with stars while the silver moon was visible at the very top. However, here, the sky while being dark thanks to space, was filled with not only stars but hundreds of plants that Khal was able to perceive without any ability or technique!

[In the Fifth Realm, every being gets his or her own world where they can cultivate without any external difficulties or issues. Like this, they can focus on turning their own Soul World into their personal domain that can be used during fights.]

’Yeah, I have read about it in my book. And while it sounds simple, it is not and won’t be an easy journey.’ Khal thought before he directed his gaze toward a specific direction where a thin silver pillar was visible in the distance which seemed to be connected with his and the closest planet in the sky.

’And if my guess is correct, that is the Celestial Pillar, connecting two being’s worlds and allowing one to travel between two planets, right?’

[That is right. Though, for you to gain access to that Celestial Pillar you have to challenge and either kill or make the other being on the other side of it submit to you.]

’What do I gain from making others submit to me?’

[They will be forever debted to you and chained to your very being. It’s like an Eternal Oath, but here only they die if they dare to betray you.]

’Interesting.’ Khal mumbled and after looking at Sofiel beside him who seemed to be mesmerized by the sight above her, he quickly sat down and closed his eyes.

"Huh? Are you going to cultivate?" noticing that Khal has sat down into a lotus position Sofiel walked beside him and asked.

"I am planning to do so, yes." Khal replied without opening his eyes and added, "So I would advise you to do the same."

Knowing she had nothing better to do Sofiel nodded and sat down too to start cultivating. However, what she didn’t know was that the moment she closed her eyes Khal opened his, and when he made sure she was immersed in her cultivation he took the token he was given by Hale out and used it to vanish into thin air.
