Chapter 448: A Whole New but Abandoned World (1)
The gate which had the size of about an average tree slowly began to open wide, revealing a sight that neither Khal nor Hale expected to see.
"T-This..." taking a small step forward once the gate was open, Khal looked at the spectacle before him with wide eyes and a loosened jaw.
The scenery in front of him and Hale was not an exaggeration to call paradise. Vast grass fields with either the color of emerald or azure, flowers and plants with different shapes, sizes, and appearances, and trees as large and tall as skyscrapers!
There was even a clear blue sky above the head of the two with a huge sun that emitted warm rays of light at the things below!
"Are... Are we really inside a spaceship? Because I feel like I have been transported into a whole different world." Khal mumbled quietly as he squinted his eyes scarcely once the gentle breeze hit his face from the front.
Hale examined the breathtaking scenery in front of him with a serene expression, but considering how his eyes flashed with different emotions from time to time it was not hard to figure out he too felt deep shock at the moment.
"Let’s look around. Perhaps we will be able to find something interesting." after remaining silent for a minute or two, Hale started to walk forward while gesturing to Khal to follow.
[This place is beautiful. I wonder just how long did it take for these Realm Walkers to create all this.]
Walking through the grass field while examining everything with both curiosity and awe, Khal watched how the ground around Hale’s feet froze when he picked up a small rose that had blue petals.
"Fascinating... While I have seen and studied many plants before, I have never crossed paths with one such as this." Hale said quietly before raising his head and adding, "No, not just this... Almost 90% of all the plants and flowers here are unknown to me."
Upon hearing the words Hale just spoke, Khal crouched down beside a small white plant that looked like a lily and extended his hands forward to touch it.
"If you want to die from your blood getting solidified in your veins, just feel free to do it. Otherwise, I recommend you not to touch it."
"Eh?" freezing his actions just an inch before he could have touched the flower, Khal looked at Hale before pulling his hand back with a pale face.
"What about this then?" walking a few meters to the right, Khal glanced at a golden flower that had the appearance of jasmine and pointed at it.
"That seems to be a Fortune Jasmine. It is a rarity and can be only found in the Sixth Realm. It can turn anything that its petals touch into gold, so I advise not to touch it either." Hale explained as he still examined the blue rose in his hand.
"I-I see... And this? Can I touch it?" pointing at another planet, Khal was eager to hear if he could grab it as it looked rather fluffy, but Hale’s answer was the same as the previous two.
"Then what about this? Looks pretty harmless."
"It contains a lethal toxin which gets released if one tries to smell it. It causes immediate death."
"Oh... Sound fantastic... What about this? There is no way such a little thing can kill a person."
"Yeah, it can’t. It will twist your muscles and torture you for 100 days instead."

"Though, you can grab that one over there."
"Huh? This one? Really?"
"I don’t know. You can try it though."

Khal and Hale walked through the grass field filled with numerous plants and without any of the two noticing it three hours have passed.
During that time, Khal seemed to learn a lot from Hale considering plants and flowers, and now he comes to cross with one or more of them in the future he will be able to identify them.
Though, considering he just mentioned that out of 10 plants he has never seen 9 of them, it wasn’t very likely he will encounter any of them from here outside in the cultivation world.
[Look! There is a gate in the distance.]
Hearing Nova’s words Khal stopped inspecting the tall tree whose crown was full of leaves that were in truth flames, and shifted his gaze into the distance.
And indeed, about three miles away from where he and Hale were standing, a gate with similar aspects that of the one they have just come in could be seen at the bottom of the wall that spread seemingly infinitely into both the left and right side.
"Let’s check it out." noticing the gate after following the gaze of Khal on his side, Hale placed his hand atop Khal’s shoulder and quickly teleported the two of them right before the gate.
"I will open it." after inspecting the gate and making sure it was the same as the last one, Khal placed his palms atop the gate and pushed it open.
And just like previously, the gate opened without any problem, revealing a new scenery on the other side of the gate.
However, this time it was not another paradise filled with numerous plants and flowers nor was it a different region such as a mountain top filled with snow or a bottom of a large volcano where lava flowed down at the side of it, but a massive library filled with books and scrolls!
Each bookshelf was several tens of meters tall with at least a thousand books and scrolls on them each.
Furthermore, as the bookshelves were placed in a way where four of them shaped a perfect square, they formed several straight paths that crossed each other after every ten meters or so!
"First a massive garden filled with plants and flowers and now a great library with hundreds of thousands, perhaps even millions of books and scrolls. What will be the next room? A chamber filled with techniques and pills?" Khal asked loudly, obviously not waiting for any answer.
