Chapter 447: Realm Walker

"You... Have just stopped it with a single finger?" watching how the massive spaceship was forced to halt, Khal shifted his gaze at Hale’s back only a single meter away from him.

"Why? Is that so shocking?" with his index finger still gently resting on the very front of the spaceship, Hale glanced behind over his shoulder at Khal and asked slightly confused.

Khal opened his mouth to reply with a yes, as just what kind of ridiculous strength did one need to possess to be able to halt a massive object that moved so fast that not even light could compete, but quickly realized just who the one standing in front of him truly was.

No matter if the spaceship in front of him had a size of a smaller planet or if it moved with such momentum that it could easily obliterate any planet from its path if crashed into one, Khal had to accept that Hale wasn’t given his title as the ruler of the Seven Realms just for fun. He had both his strength and power to back it up without a question!

"...No, it’s nothing." After accepting reality and blessing the Gods, if there was any to start with, that Hale was his friend, Khal just simply shook his head.

"Anyways, what will we do now? Is there a way to go inside this... thing?" Khal asked as he examined the massive spaceship, which was more of an interstellar spaceship from a sci-fi movie than an average spaceship.

Just as Hao Yu explained, the ship was as large as a smaller planet with a triangular shape. It was made out of some weird black material whose surface was full of hexagon scales that moved, spun, and flipped around from time to time as if they had their own consciousness.

However, except for that and its size, there was nothing else noticeable or remarkable about it that could have been mentioned. There was nothing else on it, not even a small window or the tip of a barrel which could have been possibly the part of a weapon!

"Let’s see if we can find an entrance somewhere on it," Hale spoke calmly as he withdrew his finger, but made sure to leave a golden mark on the spot where he a moment ago touched and held the spaceship in one place.

However, even after going around the spaceship while using different powers to see if there was a gate or not, the two found nothing, not even a small gap or hope through the two of them could have gone inside.

Not even Hale, after using several techniques of his was able to locate the entrance which for obvious reasons made him look rather annoyed.

"Maybe the entrance is concealed?" Khal couldn’t help but ask, earning a low hum from Hale on his side.

"Perhaps... Let me try something then." Hale said after thinking for a minute or two and quickly extended his hand toward the top of the spaceship.

At first, nothing happened. However, after a few seconds, a massive circular formation with complex symbols and ancient letters all over its surface manifested out of nowhere before golden light broke out of its end and engulfed the spaceship in its entirety!

"Finally found it." showing a delighted smile after a full hour of fruitless searching, Hale teleported him and Khal to a specific location of the spaceship and placed his hand atop its surface.

However, the anticipated moment where the side of the ship suddenly moved and opened didn’t appear, confusing Hale rather deeply.

"Let me try it." suddenly, Khal floated next to Hale as he felt how his bracelet became slightly hotter than usual all of a sudden, and quickly placed his palm atop the side of the ship’s surface.

Whoosh!

Under the eyes of both Khal and Hale, the hexagon scales on the surface of the spaceship began to move and in a blink, they formed an O-shaped gate, revealing a path that led the way inside.

"Let’s go." without waiting for a reply, Hale flew into the now opened gap and once his face landed on the white metallic surface he looked around.

[Welcome back to Nexus, Realm Walker.]

"Realm Walker?" both Khal and Hale looked at each other when that foreign name resounded in their surroundings.

[It seems those Otherworlders are calling themselves Realm Walkers. Although it sounds weird, it also feels quite an interesting name if you ask me.]

Currently, the two of them were standing in a huge, white circular hall with nothing but two staircases on the sides, one on the left and one on the right. The ceiling, the floor, and even the steps on the staircase were made out of white material, similar to marble. The only thing that was not white was the sole black gates at the top of each gate.

As for the gap the two of them came in, it has vanished quite a long time ago without leaving behind even the slightest trace, almost as if there was no path at all a few moments ago. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

After examining the hall in silence for a few seconds, Khal and Hale decided to check out the first gate on the left, which looked like a gate made out of black crystal.

"Just to be safe, I will do it," Khal said calmly as he saw how Hale was ready to extend his hand forward to touch the door.

Upon hearing his words Hale glanced at him for a brief moment before nodding and taking a step backward. He clearly understood what Khal was thinking, and while he didn’t fear he would die in this place, he also knew it was better safe than sorry.

Also, remembering how the entrance opened upon Khal’s touch while it didn’t even budge upon his, Hale had to admit that because of the bracelet in his possession Khal was able to do way more than him, so perhaps it was not a bad thing to let him lead the way.

Seeing how Hale took a step back and nodded at him, Khal nodded too and after taking a deep breath, he placed both arms atop the gate’s surface and with a small amount of force pushed it wide open!
