Chapter 441: Declined Request (1)
After taking a quick bath and eating his breakfast, Khal stepped out of his residence. However, instead of immidieatly setting off he just stood motionless before his door with his eyes closed.
Whoosh!
In a flash, the whole layout of Moon Sect with every bit of detail like buildings, tools, items, objects, and even the disciples appeared in his mind. There was nothing he could not see and inspect thanks to his Jade World.
"There she is." opening his eyes after finding Levia, Khal stretched his slightly sore arms for a bit before he began to walk toward the location where the queen of the Fairy Race was at this moment.
Walking through the now renovated streets of Moon Sect which now was constructed out of high-quality white marble and not simple rocks, Khal watched with a smile on his face how everyone looked at him with both respect and adoration. This, although being a bit weird for him as until now he was always looked down and despised, was something he can get used to pretty easily.
Naturally, several disciples tried to approach him for different reasons but as Khal politely declined all of their pleas and told them he was in a hurry they had no choice but to leave with disappointment.
Of course, some were stubborn enough to follow him almost through the entire sect without any sign of giving up, but when Khal decided to emit some of his presence with a hint of killing intent, all those disciples ran away without saying any word in fear they will be killed on the spot.
[It seems the weak really loves to worship the strong. If I were you, I would make sure to enjoy every moment of it as once you reach the Third Realm all this will be gone.]
โYeah, I know.โ Khal nodded in his heart as he arrived before a specific building in the central part of the Outer Courts which according to the sign placed on its top was a tavern.
However, although this tavern was located in the Outer Court, it did not mean it was a place meant for regular people. No, in fact it was a place for only those individuals that were extremely rich or had the high privilege, and this from its outer appearance alone showed it.
The tavern different from any ordinary tavern was a circular building made out of high-quality material in the very center of a beautiful garden filled with various plants, flowers, and trees. It also was massive in size as on one floor alone Khal was able to count about fifty windows despite only standing at the front and seeing about twenty-plus floors, indicating there was an insane amount of rooms in this tavern!
From Khalโs point of view, it would be better to call this place a luxurious hotel than a tavern, but as the sign at the top said Moon Tavern he had no other choice but to call it as a tavern.
After looking at the huge building in silence for a while Khal walked inside, only to be greeted by a younger female in a silver robe. It seemed she was the one in charge of taking care of the guests that arrived for the first time.
"Elder Khal! What brings you here?" the young female seemed to be shocked but quickly smiled lovingly, her eyes filled with nothing but respect. Just as anyone else in the whole Moon Sect, she too was able to recognize Khalโs face and silhouette with a single glance despite his slightly different appearance.
"I am here to meet with an acquaintance. Hope it wonโt cause a problem if I go and meet with her." Khal showed a gentle smile that unwittingly made the young woman blush and nod.
"I see, thank you." Khalโs smile widened and without waiting for a reply or asking for guidance he began to walk in a specific direction.
Of course, he could have just simply gone to Levia the very moment he walked inside but he still decided not to do so and ask for permission first to avoid unnecessary problems.
Khal walked through a rather spacious hallway and soon he found himself at the entrance of an extremely luxurious cafeteria.
Circular glass tables covered with a smooth and incredibly thin white tablecloth, chairs made out of a mixture of gold and silver with comfy pillows placed on them, and crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. On the side, huge, crystal clear windows stood, through which one was able to gaze at the beautiful green scenery outside.
Khal was slightly taken aback by just how luxurious the diner was, but as he has seen better before he quickly snapped out of his daze and walked before a table where a beautiful woman was sitting with a cup of tea in her hand while two individuals clad in armor stood on both her side, seemingly standing guard despite knowing there was no threat in such a place.
"So you have found me. Your senses are truly exceptional." signaling to his two guards to allow Khal closer, Levia watched as Khal sat down before her and took a sip from her cup.
"It was not really hard to figure out where the Queen of the Fairy Race would stay. In fact, if I want to be honest, in this sect only this tavern qualifies to accommodate an individual with calibers and beauty such as yourself." Khal spoke calmly.
"Is that so?" Leviaโs mouth curved slightly upward from the last few words of Khal as she raised the cup in her delicate hands before her mouth and took a sip.
Khal nodded, but soon his expression turned serious, and quickly said, "Anyways, as I am not here to shower Your Highness in neverending compliments as I am pretty sure others are doing that just enough, I hope we can get onto the main topic and the reason why the Queen of the Fairy Race wishes to talk with me so much."
