Chapter 440: Fairy Queen (2-Last)
Walking to the door and opening it, Khal was ready to send whoever was on the other side away as he finally wanted to take a good rest after working almost nonstop for an entire month.
However, when he grabbed the handle and literally swung the door wide open, his mouth which was ready to open froze together with his entire body. In front of him at the edge of the door, a woman with an otherworldly appearance stood calmly with two soldiers clad in azure blue armor!
Her skin was white like snow, and her silver hair was smooth and long, cascading down behind her slim back almost all the way down to her waist. Her silver eyes shone with serenity, a complete contrast to her ice-cold complexion and cherry lips that exuded the feeling of hidden danger.
Her whole being was that of an ancient goddess or a deep ocean; calm and beautiful on the surface but scary and full of threat at the bottom!
Even her simple white dress that hugged her whole body and had a long cut at the bottom on the left side, allowing her slender left leg to appear and vanish whenever she took a step looked like that of a deity, boosting her overall charm by a huge margin!
"So you must be Elder Khal, huh? You look pretty different from pictures I have seen about you." the woman talked calmly as she looked at Khal from top to bottom before she extended her flawless hand toward Khal in a way a queen used to her knight.
"My name is Levia Frostwirl, the current queen of the royal Frostwirl Family and ruler of the Fairy Race. I came to Moon Sect to talk wit-"
"Oh, so it is you that Darla talked about! I see." Khal didn’t let Levia finish her sentence as he quickly grabbed her extended hand and with a firm grip shook it, "It is a pleasure to meet you indeed, though I fear you came at the wrong time. I was about to take a small nap so if you could can you please come back tomorrow? I would appreciate it a lot."
"Huh? But..." Levia was stupified by the way Khal treated her and watched with widened eyes as her hand that until now no man held much less shook was at this moment grabbed by a young boy who could be easily considered as his son!
"Perfect, it is settled then. See you tomorrow!" Khal showed a warm smile and after letting go of Levia’s delicate hand he closed the door without waiting for the queen of the Fairy Race to respond at all.
"This brat... Instead of thanking Her Highness that she has decided to come all the way here he even dares to disrespect that kindness! The audacity!"
"My Queen, should I turn this place into ruins and ashes? Please, just give me one single wo-"
"Quite." as the two royal soldiers stared at the spot where Khal stood a moment ago with dense killing intent, hoping they would be given the order to teach Khal a lesson, Levia silenced them with a single gesture despite none of the soldiers wished to remain silent.
Or at least that is what they thought before Levia shifted her cold gaze at the two of them and spoke, "Did you two forget just what he is capable of doing and what reason we are here? Don’t let me hear those words of yours ever again or else you can consider yourselves lucky if I just only break your arms."
The two royal soldiers immidieatly kneeled and lowered their heads, "We apologize our Queen! We were in the wrong!"
Levia stared at the two kneeling in front of her with a cold gaze before she shook her hand and after giving one final glance at Khal’s residence she walked away.
Meanwhile, inside the building, Khal walked into his room and jumped onto the comfortable bed in the middle which unfortunately he didn’t use so often as he almost all the time just cultivated.
"Argh... Fi... nally..." and even before one could have blinked twice, Khal fell into a deep slumber for the first time after an insanely long duration.

The next morning, inside Khal’s residence.
The very moment the first layer of light of the emerging sun appeared on the horizon, washing everything in its slightly warm glow, Khal on his bed finally opened his eyes after sleeping for almost 20 hours straight!
Even his saliva coated his face and the sheets of the bed, showing just how exhausted he really was and he truly needed that good sleep.
"Urgh... It’s already morning? But I wanted to sleep a little while longer..." Khal mumbled as his eyelids slowly closed on their own, ready to send him back to his dream world for at least another five hours.
[Did you forget? You have a meeting with that fairy queen so wake up already.]
"Umm... But I don’t want to..." Khal mumbled in a slowly fading tone, but just as he could have fallen asleep suddenly his eyes shot wide open and his body jumped out of his bed.
"Huh? But I could swear I have... Oh..." looking around to see who was the one directing their killing intent at him Khal spoke loudly before realization hit him and relaxed.
"Was that really necessary? You could have just told me to wake up." Khal sighed as he understood Nova used the same method on him she used during the Realm Tournament but this time to wake him up.
[I did, but you decided to ignore me. You left me with no other choice.]
Khal shook his head helplessly when he heard Nova’s answer and looked at the bed just a few meters away from him with grief as he really wished to sleep a little while longer. However, now that he was out of it and was standing, he knew it was better if he goes and prepares himself properly for his meeting with Levia.
