Chapter 439: Fairy Queen (1)
After finding out that somewhere in the Second Realm there was a starship, probably a creation of these Otherworlders, Khal couldn’t stop himself from asking several questions to Hao Yu.
He asked numerous questions such as how big it was, how many rooms it had, the layout of its interior, different rooms and locations found inside it, and a description of its outer appearance.
There were even numerous questions such as the materials they were crafted out of or the decorations, which for there perhaps seemed confusing and useless for Khal were extremely important.
Of course, because of this, the founder of the Moon Sect seemed pretty confused about just why did Khal was so eager to learn about the spaceship so much, but after seeing his serious gaze below his calm facade he knew there was a solid reason why he was acting the way he was, thus he decided not to hold back a single thing and described everything to him as clearly as possible.
And exactly for this reason specifically, when Hao Yu reached the end of his story with him describing every little thing to Khal and answering all his answers, three hours passed by.
[That spaceship is the Otherworlders’ doing. Now there is no question about it.]
After watching how Hao Yu finished talking and how he was refreshing his throat with a cup of warm and fresh tea which was more than his fiftieth, Nova decided to speak first.
Khal nodded slightly as he crossed his strong arms before his chest and closed his eyes.
During these almost four hours of conversation, he earned so much intel that now he was 120% sure the starship where Hao Yu appeared after his ascension was the creation of the Otherworlders.
According to him, the starship was rather massive. It was about five times larger than the current Moon Sect which at this moment had a territory of over a thousand square miles!
It could be even said the spaceship was a complete city that was capable of roaming outside of space!
However, the most shocking aspect of this starship was not its massive size nor the fact that it was inhabited by literally no life form except plants, but instead that it flew so fast that with normal means it was simply undetectable!
Hao Yu explained how he failed to track the departure of the starship when he found a way out of it and how it fly past several other spaceships and planets that were inhabited without causing any ruckus or suspicion!
There was even a moment when it just floated in one single spot for several days, yet when a hord of spaceships appeared in the distance they just flew past it as if it was not even there!
’Do you think we have a chance to find it?’ after thinking for a small while Khal decided to ask Nove, curious to hear her opinion about this matter.
[No, you have zero chance to find it. Though, perhaps the Emperor can help us.]
’Emperor...’ Khal opened his eyes before he shook his head helplessly, knowing way too well just who this Emperor Nova was talking about. However, he also understood Nova was right as only Hale was the one who could possibly help them.
’Though, to think that thing could hide even from the eyes of the ruler of all the Seven Realms... Are they really from the same Earth as me?’ Khal pondered, not knowing what to believe and what to not.
Until now, he has assumed the Otherworlders Hale has mentioned were humans just as he was once before as he also came from a planet called Earth before. However, that line of thought of his changed completely about a few hours ago as the human race he has been a part of in the past possessed no advanced technology as these Otherworlders. As a fact, humans from Earth couldn’t even travel in space except by going to the moon much less travel between worlds, and possess different powers through so-called Power Cores!
’Interesting...’ was the only thing Khal was able to say before he looked at Hao Yu and stood up.
"Hm? Already going?" Hao Yu looked surprised as he really enjoyed talking with Khal for unknown reasons. Perhaps it was because he did not talk with anyone for two whole years or because Khal was a unique individual, Hao Yu couldn’t really decide which answer it was.
"Unfortunately, yeah." Khal nodded and after looking around to see where he must go to leave the chamber he said, "I still have a few things to take care of before I ascend to the next Realm."
A hint of disappointment flashed in the eyes of Hao Yu which quickly turned into pleasant surprise once he heard Khal’s last few words.
"You will ascend already?" Hao Yu asked but soon he calmed down and nodded with realization, "Of course, you would. From your presence, I can easily tell you have already become a True Ascender."
Then, as if hearing a funny joke Hao Yu began to laugh and said quietly, "Hahaha! And here I was, thinking I was already a genius for reaching the peak of the Fifth Cultivation Stage in the Second Realm at such a "young age". The world is truly full of wonders and unexpected things, huh?"
"Umm... Is there any exit around here or...?" waiting for Hao Yu to finish his laugh, Khal cleared his throat quietly and looked left and right, trying to spot an entrance or some sort despite looking around now for the fifth time.
"Oh, haha, my bad. I will help you." Hao Yu quickly stopped laughing and without saying anything else waved his hand.
Whoosh!
As if his body got dragged into a vortex in the middle of an ocean, Khal watched as his vision began to spin for a split second before everything around him changed.
’Home sweet home.’ Khal showed a small smile when he saw he was teleported back into his residence and was ready to jump onto the comfy bed to take a short nap, but just as he could have a knock forced him to do so.
This, obviously, earned a few words of cuss from Khal as he really wanted to sleep, but hearing how impatiently the person outside was knocking, he could do nothing but go and open the door.
’I swear if I open the door just to be asked to give an autograph, I will shove that person’s pencil up into their ass!’ Khal thought in his heart with a rather angry complexion as he went and opened the door.
