Chapter 433: A New Life but a Past Self
Inside an average-looking house which inside was rather spacious and had everything that one needed for a comfortable life, a young individual stood before a mirror with a confident smile on his face and with a dagger in his right hand.
His face was handsome and without any imperfections, perhaps because of his great cultivation. His eyes were akin to two pieces of emerald while his short light black hair looked like smooth silk.
His body was neither slim nor bulky, just perfect enough to allow him to move however way he wished to during fights or in ordinary situations.
As for his clothes, he was currently wearing a silver robe with golden sewing on it, one in which its sleeves and bottom part were loose and long enough to hide his hand and leg in their entirety if stayed motionless!
[Are really sure about this?]
"Yeah, I have already decided on this, so I won’t change my mind."
[I still can hardly believe he has agreed with your idea.]
"Me too, but this way things will become way easier... For all the three of us."
[Just make sure you won’t regret it.]
"I won’t, believe me."
With that short and brief conversation with Nova, Khal raised the dagger in his hand and with quick but careful movements began to cut off strands of hair from his head, gradually giving him a completely new look.
"What do you think?" leaning closer to the mirror and turning his head left and right to get a better look at every angle, Khal showed a smile as he asked Nova’s opinion.
[You definitely look different then until now. To be honest, this style fits you way better than the previous one.]
"Right?" Khal straightened his back and showed a happy grin.
"Then onto the next one." shifting his gaze at his rope, Khal swung his Devil Fangs and in an instant, both his sleeves were cut off from his shoulder, revealing both his strong and muscular arms.
"Much better." Khal nodded with satisfaction and after loosening his robe around his chest area a bit he unsummoned his Devil Fangs and walked away.
"Ah, Khal, I was about to go and find... You... Huh? What happened with your clothes? And your hair too?" on top of a small mountain, Senior Lin opened her eyes and looked at Khal, only for her complexion to change tremendously.
The Khal she saw several days ago and the Khal that stood before her although looked the same somehow looked completely different!
She couldn’t really get her head around it why, but it made her feel as if the Khal before her while having the same demeanor and presence, in the core changed greatly.
"Senior Lin. I know you are pretty busy but I wish to discuss a few matters with you. Hope you can spare me a few moments."
"...Huh? S-Sure, go ahead." Senior Lin snapped out of her daze when she heard Khal’s words and nodded.
"Then if you excuse me..." sitting down with a rather carefree attitude, Khal looked at Senior Lin with a serious expression and took out a scroll from his hand.
It was the same scroll that Hale has given him during his time in the Zero Realm, the one that allowed him to break his limits as a Limit Breaker and become an Ascender.
"A scroll?" Senior Lin was confused but after she accepted the scroll and opened it, upon seeing its context her expression became deadly serious.
"Just exactly from where did you acquire this?"
"That is not important." Khal shook his head gently and pointed at the scroll calmly before saying, "I want Sect Master to teach the steps inside that scroll to every human in the sect, and only to those that are humans."
"But this... This is way too precious. No, this is a priceless treasure! What you say is just..." Senior Lin spoke with widened eyes as in her eyes this scroll was something that could bring chaos if others with ill intent or inextinguishable greed find out its value!
And if she teaches every human which could literally allow everyone to become an Ascender in months, it will obviously bring suspicion and attract many unwanted eyes!
"I know, but Sect Master doesn’t have to worry. Before I ascend to the Third Realm, I will make sure that not only will the sect become one of the strongest sects in the entire Second Realm, but also that no one will dare to offend us!"
"You will... Ascend? But although you have already become an Ascender you still have to..." reaching that point in her speech, Senior Lin’s eyes widened, and with a stupified expression asked, "Don’t tell me, you have already opened your Soul World?"
At that answer, Khal just simply smiled, and after standing up he said, "Just make sure everyone in the sect, but only humans will learn the steps inside the scroll."
And with those words and saying anything else, Khal turned around and walked away, leaving Senior Lin behind with a completely flabbergasted expression.
"Ah, here you are. I have been searching for... You... What happened with you?" with the same reaction as Senior Lin and those who saw him from a distance, Darla looked at Khal up and down, surprised by his new appearance.
"I decided to change my style. Looks great, right?" Khal asked with a confident smile.
Upon seeing his smile, which for some strange reason looked way more attractive with his new hairstyle and clothing, Darla felt her cheeks turn slightly warm and couldn’t help but turn her eyes to the side.
"Anyways, you said you were looking for me. Why so?" seeing Darla’s reaction Khal knew he did the right thing to change his style and quickly asked.
Darla calmed herself down after hearing Khal’s question and nodded, "Yeah. Though, although this will be all of a sudden and maybe unexpected, it seems the leader of my race contacted my father and wishes to meet you."
"Oh? The ruler of the Fairy Race?" Khal asked with a slightly raised brow as he indeed didn’t expect to hear such a thing.
He heard many powerful and influential individuals from different sects and races wished to meet him, but none of them were the leaders of any races, or at least none of them tried to contact him directly until now.
