Chapter 425: Moon Sect’s Growth
The calm but serious voice that forced every creature from moving and which halted possible chaos from occurring resounded in every being’s ear as clearly as the sound of thunder, pushing the whole landscape around Moon Sect into complete silence!
And under every creature’s gaze, a young individual who didn’t even look to be 20 years old walked beside Senior Lin’s side, his emerald gaze as cold and grave as the stare of a dragon looking down on the thousands of beings in front of him.
No one talked nor moved but gaped at Khal’s figure as if he was some kind of deity or war hero that with his presence alone could earn everyone’s respect and stop wars!
"I-Is that him? Is that really him?"
"He looks much younger in person than I have thought... And handsome..."
"Just how old is he really? His aura feels so young."
Suddenly, every creature began to murmur between each other while their eyes stared at Khal with eyes filled with complex emotions.
"Elder Khal, please, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kira from the Sky Serpent Race and current Sect Master of the Sky Fang Sect. If you perhaps have the time, I would like to sit down with you next to a warm tea to get to know each other better."
"Elder Khal! Please spare a moment for me too! My name is..."
"Me too! I am from..."
Creatures from different races and different races began to approach Khal one by one, pushing and shoving each other side to side in the hope they could get closer to him. There were even a few bold ones that began to fight between each other, quickly causing a mess around Moon Sect.
"Do you perhaps want to die?" suddenly, Khal’s cold voice swept through the air once again, but this time his voice carried a hint of killing intent.
"?!"
Those that approached Khal halted immediately while those that started to fight quickly shrunk their neck while their face paled. After witnessing Khal’s strength, they were well aware he could kill each and every one of them with a single gesture if he wished to, hence they knew what they did just now was a huge mistake!
Khal examined the faces of every creature before he inhaled deeply and said, "Well then, to make things easier, first let’s do this. Any of those of you that wish to form a connection with this sect take a step to the right and those that wish to form only a friendship with me take a step to the left. As for those that wish to choose none, take a step backward."
Everyone looked at each other in confusion, but as they didn’t dare to refute Khal’s words everyone did as they were told, and soon three groups were formed, the largest one on the left, the second biggest one at the back, and the smallest one on the right.
Khal upon seeing this nodded and waved his casually, "Perfect. Now those on the left and at the back... You can leave. As for those on the right, follow me."
"H-Huh?"
All the beings that were either on the left or at the back stood dumbfounded as they watched how those on the right with exhilarated faces began to approach Khal and even got the chance to speak with him!
"This is unfair! We will go in too! We didn’t come all this way just to be sent back! We even gave this sect several precious gifts so you should at least pay us back!"
"Yeah! He is right! You have no right to tell us what to do especially after giving so many things to you! Just because you have a little bit of strength does not mean you can look down on all of us!"
The words of a few creatures caused more and more to exclaim their dissatisfaction before every creature that was told to leave began to shout and even approach the gate of the sect.
[They really don’t know what is good for them. What a pity.]
Khal seeing how almost all the beings that he told to leave began to approach him with angered stares sighed helplessly and shook his head.
"K-Khal? What are you doing?" Senior Lin’s eyes widened when he saw how Khal took a step forward, fearing he will kill all the beings thus resulting in a war.
"Don’t worry, Senior Lin. I am just teaching them a lesson." Khal showed a serious face and extended his hand forward he spoke loudly;
"Kneel."
BAM!
The moment Khal’s voice appeared, the gravity around every being and even around the whole sect increased several folds, and everyone except the disciples and Elders was forced onto their knees! Not even those beings who were allowed to approach Moon Sect were spared!
"This will be the first and final warning. If you don’t leave right in this instant, I won’t waste a single second sending all of you to the afterlife!" wearing a bronze armor that clad his whole body from top to bottom, Khal stared down coldly at all the creatures in front of him, almost as if he was looking down at ants.
"Now scram."
Whoosh!
Withdrawing his power, Khal turned around and without even giving a glance at the still lying creatures on the ground he walked back into the sect while gesturing to the small group on the side to follow. He even told Senior Lin and the Elders to kill everyone that tries to approach the sect even after this which they obeyed without a word.
Then, walking through the sect all the way back to the Core Court where his residence wa located, Khal stood before his door and turned to face the group.
"Stand in line and enter one at a time. Those of you that dare to cause a ruckus while waiting will be punished severely, and when I say punish I hope you know what I mean by that." Khal said coldly, and when he saw that almost every creature swallowed nervously he nodded and pointed at the creature at the very front.
"I will start with you. Follow me inside."
