Chapter 122: Alone with a past lover
The plan was simple. Ming Tao was still in their hypnosis but was fighting it. That was the reason he barely reacted to Mira’s disrespect. In order to break that, Hye Yang needed to let him catch Mira alone with her past lover in a situation that would be inexcusable.
And she had found the best time to do so. Right when Mira was having her bath. She would be naked and that would be when Mu Yang would show up. So close to her and also naked. He would corner Mira and be so close to her that it would look like they snuck out to be promiscuous and that would be the perfect cute to walk in on them with Ming Tao by her side. Just thinking about it made Hye Yang’s body excited. Her sister would not know what hit her and with the lion king gone, courtesy of Hye Yang’s deception, there would be no one to save Mira from Ming Tao’s wrath.
And now was the perfect time. Mira was having her night bath alone in a river. It was way too convenient for Hye Yang to have Mira alone. After waiting all day for the perfect opportunity, it presented itself way sooner than she expected.
"Remember, charm her. When she comes out, just before she has time to dry herself or put anything on, approach her, remind her of what she would be missing. And ensure to get close enough that your hand can reach for her skin. We need this as convincing as it can be." Hye Yang whispered to Mu Yang. They were a far distance from the river Mira was in but could see her. Hye Yang did not want to get too close so Mira could not smell them.
"And if it goes wrong?" Mu Yang questioned in a low breath.
"Ensure it does not." Hye Yang responded.
"And if it does?" Mu Yang pushed again. He needed an escape plan in case this did not work. Ming Tao might be a cheetah, but there was a reason he acquired the title ’The Mighty Cheetah’.
"Then you would be one of the many conquests of the mighty cheetah." Hye Yang worded icily. She let out a soft breath then replaced hhe line on her lips with a smile. "My sister loves you, remind her of it and you will be okay." Hye Yang sounded convincing. The honest truth was, she had no idea if this would make Ming Tao snap out of the hypnosis rather than be consumed by it, and if he snapped out of it due to rage. Mu Yang would be in a lot of trouble but she did not care. The only one she was concerned about was herself and she would do anything to win back the husbands that were rightfully hers.
Mu Yang let out a sigh. "Here goes nothing." He said lazily. His body shuddered at the thought of what he was about to do. That woman Mira Yang made his skin crawl. He had met many women in his life and she was one of the ones that could not take no for an answer. In fact, it was something to make her try harder and he hated it. He hated her. "You owe me big time for this." Mu Yang stated.
"I swear to repay you." Hye Yang declared. "Now go. I will go and fetch The Mighty Cheetah." Hye Yang shifted into her fox then ran away in the opposite direction, towards the cheetahs’ city.
Mu Yang peered longer at the woman who was washing herself in the river. He would need something strong after this encounter.

Mira sank into the river. She let it swallow her entire body for a second before coming back up. Today had been something else. She had to be alone all day. When Ming Tao was not home, she was alone, and when he was home, he ensured to make her feel alone. He avoided her like a plague and she did not know what to do.
Mira raised her hand up her face and pushed her hair backwards. It fell back easily, sticking to her neck before the rest floated in the river. It was nice to be alone without any noise. At least now, she had time to think about anything but herself. Or rather, herself and her baby. Never did she think she would have to bear the weight of being a single mother and she was barely a single mom. Her husband was just being a jerk.
"I wish I knew what was wrong, system. I can not understand it and I do not know how to act." Mira stated with a sigh. Everything was weighing her down and this was the time she was supposed to rest. "Why is my husband cold to me? What did I do wrong?" Mira heard her voice break. She had tried to not let it get to her all day but it was hard. The love he had in those eyes was gone and replaced with hardness. Like they never happened and it had barely been three days since their first sex. Mira thought Ming Tao ould get over it and return to being himself but that was far from what he did, he did not even come to his bed chambers simply because she was in it. The man had a room prepared for him to spend the night alone and he had his people do it. Mira did not even want to begin to think about the gossip that would spread from the mouths of those five beast men that prepared his room to everyone in the clan.

This made Mira smile. She was done bathing. "That would be nice, thank you, system." Mira swam to a shallower part of the river to get out.
[Anytime host!] System chimed.
When Mira stepped out to land. She bent to gather the bath supplies and her folded clothes.
"You look even better than the last time I saw you." Resounded in the environment. Voice thick and masculine but not deep. Mira did not need to turn to know who it was. She knew who that voice belonged to. Mira felt her body hair stand as she turned around slowly.
Her heart skipped a beat as her eyes landed on the person before her. "Mu Yang."
