Chapter 121: Mu Yang
"I hate her!!" Hye Yang raged. She paraded back and forth the land farther away from the farm in broad daylight. Now that her secret had been exposed, she found no need in hiding anymore. "Ever since she gave birth to lion babies, she must feel untouchable." Hye Yang fumed. "Can you believe she struck him in the face?" She glared at the person laid lazily on some leaves which was spread out on the ground. Hye Yang pointed her finger to a side of her face, directly at her cheek. "A slap right on his cheek. And she did not even flinch." Hye Yang continued. Her hand wavered in the air as she gestured her frustration. "No one, absolutely nobody has ever looked the mighty cheetah in the eye without trembling yet that woman hit him and he let her go scott free. It is like she has used some juju on him. Because it makes no sense how he did not rip her hand out. He just stayed quiet. I was close friends with him before and even I did not have the guts to even think I can do that yet she did. AND HE LET HER GO!"
The man on the leaves yawned. He was laid on his side with a hand up to support his head and one of his legs was folded up while the other laid on the leaves. He looks bored of her tattle tale but listened anyway. "Looks like what you used on him was not strong enough." The man said.
Hye Yang stopped pacing then turned to face him. "Mu Yang." She called his name. "The mighty cheetah still had a mind of his own somewhere behind that trance that stops him from doing exactly as we want him to. I need to kill that." She blurted out. There was no one around them, so Hye Yang found it okay to speak freely.
Mu Yang yawned. He could not care less. He never liked the sister of the woman before him even though she tried so hard to get his attention and he did not like being here. In fact, now that he thought about it, he had no idea why he agreed to come on Hye Yang’s request. Mu Yang shrugged. "I would rather be in the arms of pretty females from the fox horbit, Hye Yang."
Hye Yang clicked her tongue. "Someday, the women will riot when you do not choose a wife and the beast people will be there for it. You do not get to play with multiple women knowing the laws governing that." His Yang worded, her voice simmered down into a calmer tone.
Mu Yang let out a loud exhale. "It is not my fault they cannot resist me." He said.
Hye Yang rolled her eyes at that. She grew up with Mu Yang, well, around him. He had no real status outside his pretty face and charming body and she always found those females who flocked around him stupid. If he was a ruler, she would be drawn to him, but alas, his status as the third son of a tribal chief was way too ordinary for her dream. "One day, your pretty face won’t save you." She muttered.
"Till then, I will enjoy the benefits of the pretty face." He responded casually. Hye Yang’s face lit up instantly. She just had an idea how to put an end to Ming Tao’s conscience. The answer was right in front of her and she wondered how it skipped her mind.
"Be prepared to use your pretty face for me, Mu Yang." Hye Yang stated. A half grin formed on her face as the dots slowly began to connect. Her sister, Mira Yang, had feelings for Mu Yang. Referring to what Mira felt for him as just feelings is way to take to describe how intense it was. Mira adored him. It was an unrequited love relationship and Mira was the only one putting in the effort. It could be that the only reason she went ahead to produce offsprings for her husbands was because the one she loved neglected her for so long. She may be doing all of this for attention.
Hye Yang could not help the grin that spread wider across her face.
"Do not just say that then go silent. What do you mean?" Mu Yang asked.
Hye Yang lowered her face to look at the man who just happened to be the most important piece in the plan. Back when she knew of Mira’s love for Mu Yang, being the hateful sister that she was, she approached Mu Yang and asked him if he had any feelings for her sister. She was the one who let him know of Mira’s love for him, and she stayed by his side every damn time to make Mira jealous. It was fun, of course. Being the second child of their parents meant Mira had the things she could never have so she decided to take the one thing Mira loved. But that all changed when they came of age and Mira was bound to the five ruling beast men in the entire region they habited. Being with Mu Yang was no longer a prize, she wanted more. Her greed became massive and she swore to be the division between that bond. After all, if the bond did not work with Mira. It would automatically fall on the shoulders of the next suitable option, and that was her. The one it rightfully belonged to.
It was then Hye Yang changed tactics and pushed Mu Yang towards her sister. She decided to play with Mira’s love life and Mira was so narrow minded that she fell for it. She did not suspect a single thing. Hye Yang had already spread enough lies about Mira to Mu Yang to make him not be drawn to her in the slightest. Mu Yang hated Mira and was disgusted by her, and Hye Yang was the one who whispered lies in Mira’s ears on the things she should do to make him fall for her. It worked. Mira chased after him and that gave Hye Yang the chance to bond with Mira’s husbands. It was in that obsession with having Mu Yang that Hye Yang was able to give Mira the title ’demon of the forest’. After all, what could be a better way to divide a bond than the mates, all powerful beast men with the highest statuses, watch their woman neglect them over and over again to be with another man. While also discarding everyone and everything.
Hye Yang snapped out of her happy memories. Mira had forgotten her place and it was time to remind her of it. It was time to make her stop fooling around with her husbands who she did not deserve and be with the one she actually loved. This should snap whatever Ming Tao hung onto out of him and leave him in their complete hypnosis.
"Hye Yang?" Mu Yang called after Hye Yang’s prolonged silence.
"Forgive me, I was thinking." Hye Yang muttered. "It is time to pay dear old sister a visit, Mu Yang. And you better bring your charm out."
