Chapter 225: Love For Illusion

"Be careful... Although I don’t think it will come to this, but if it happen... and a enemy appears that feels impossible to beat then retreat as soon as possible. Alright?" Dhruv suggested as he looked at the expedition team of the spider dungeon.

"Of course, my lord..." The old man answered with an excited smile on his face.

"Vexar, i’m not hearing anything," Dhruv muttered as he looks in the demons direction.

Realizing something, Vexar replied as quickly as possible, "Of corse master.. I will retreat as well."

"You do this as well, Master." Looking at his master, Alaric repeated the same thing.

"Of course." Saying this, he began to move toward the training ground.

Looking at Dhruv’s disappearing figure, Vexar thought something, "Phew! It looks like Master hasn’t commanded me.’ A smile appeared on his face as he thought himself as genius.

...

While moving toward the ground, Dhruv connected with Alaric and asked something, [You know what to do with the core, right.]

[Don’t worry, master, I will handle everything.] Dhruv’s heard Alaric’s reassuring voice.

[Good luck... Then.]

[Thank you, master...] Before he could cut the connection manually, it cuts automaticaly as he enters the portal.

’They are gone... it’s time for me to grind as well.’ Dhruv thought as he remembered the plan for today. Before entering the Crystallce dungeon, he had planned to test some of his new spells, from both affinities.

...

Booom!!

Wooshh!

Along with the sound a violent shockwave traveled through the area as a massive hammer, entirely made out of metal, struck the land of the island.

Feeling the shockwave, a smirk appeared on Dhruv’s face, "Now this is what I called something massive." He complimented the spells as the hammer disintegrated into tiny particles of mana.

Dhruv had just cast the spell, Thunderous Smith’s Hammer. The hammer that manifests as a result of this spell is big enough to almost flatten a normal-size house. This wasn’t even the full power of the spell, if he were to unlock lightning affinity, then the result could be... thunderous, that’s for sure.

’This is good. But if I learn how to apply [Multiply] on top of [Invisible, then won’t that result be mega... No, omega good.’ Dhruv couldn’t help but giggle as he thought about the devastation that his spells would bring.

’Let’s start with invisibility.’ Thinking this, he once again brought the blueprint of this new spell.

The blueprints of these spells are no joke; they are almost like building something... at this level, Dhruv feels that he is trying to build a two-story building... On top of building it, he has to shoulder all its weight as well.

The more one gets away from the basic spells, the more tedious the blueprints become. It is difficult, but the results are far better as well.

’It is done... now I just have to overlap the invisibility spell on top of this...’ Maintaining the spell, Dhruv brought the blueprint of invisibility and overlapped it on top of the hammer spell. It took him about half a minute just to overlap the invisibility blueprint.

’Let’s... calm down...’ Calming himself down, Dhruv began to send illusion mana into the blueprint. The moment illusion mana seeped in, the blueprint of the hammer became unstable. Breaking the whole thing apart.

"Shit..." Dhruv cursed with a smile on his face. Even though it was challenging, he was enjoying every last bit of it.

’Let’s start from scratch, I guess...’ Thinking this, Dhruv brought forth the hammer blueprint once again.

...

"Here goes nothing..." Saying this for the fifth time, Dhruv unleashed the spell...

It took two seconds for the invisible hammer to manifest into reality from the blueprint. Holding his breath, Dhruv began to watch as the hammer fell toward the ground with an impressive speed.

Boooom!!..

Wooosh!..

Sound and shockwave shook the area, as a cloud of dust formed for the sixth time. Leaving a massive crater in the ground, the hammer disintegrated into notihingness.

"Sigh! Why did it become visible at the last seconds." Dhruv clicked his tongue as he remembered how, at the last last second, the hammer had come to reality before hitting the ground

’Should I continue polishing this spell, or should I focus on the illusion spells.’ Dhruv couldn’t decide between the two.

On one side, perfecting this spells means that he could be unbothered when casting it... but on the other side, he thought that there was just a second time frame before hitting its target.

’I mean, there shouldn’t be anyone who can cast spells in one second... even if they could it certainly won’t be strong enough to block the hammer.’ Dhruv sighed as he decided what he was going to do.

’Let’s practice with [Multiply]; then, I could focus on the illusion one.’ Thinking this, he accessed the blueprint. While he was in the middle of filling the spell with his mana, Dhruv realized a problem.

’I’m out of mana. Well, this is something new, that’s for sure.’ Chuckling, Dhruv brought out a few mana potions from his inventory and chugged them clean.

Before sending Grec away, Dhruv had bought around 100 mana and 100 health potions with his money. He had gone as far as to buy potions for everyone else as well.

All the expenses were paid by the poor goblin. And Dhruv could swear that today he could have seen a monster cry for the first time.

Chugging five potions in a row, he started his training once again.

...

[Master, the lunch is ready... You should eat before continuing the training.] The sound of Azarex’s thoughts appeared in Dhruv’s head through the mark.

Disturbed by this, he couldn’t control the mana and destroyed the blueprint he had created with great effort.

"God dammit..." Cursing, he focused on the connection and replied that he would come soon.

’These illusion spells are just so... Interesting.’ He thought as he remembered the spell he was trying to learn.

Slowly but surely, Dhruv began to love illusion more and more...
