Chapter 217: Something Wrong, I Can Feel It

Saying these words, Dhruv, Grec, and Vexar began to move toward his house. Entering the house, Dhruv calmly sat on his throne and began to wait for others to come.

While Dhruv was trying to think about something, he was disturbed by the sound of Grec asking something,

"Master, have you crafted that throne?" Grec asked as he eyed the throne with greed.

’His instincts have begun to act once again...’ Thinking this, Dhruv began to consider how to explain the origin of the throne. After a minute of careful thinking, he finally came up with something plausible.

"You won’t know this, but... we have a thing called a quest that we have to complete in a certain time period. If one completes the goal of the quests, then they get rewards at the end of it." While talking to him, Dhruv noticed that just at the simple mention of the word rewards, his eyes had lit up.

"Uggghh! The quality of the reward depends on how one has progressed during the quest. If you do great, you will get great rewards. If you don’t progress well, then your reward will be subpar as well..."

" So, in simple terms, your progress will reflect your reward. I have got this throne as a reward for the second quest" Dhruv explained.

"So at which quest are we, Master?" Grec asked with a hint of curiosity.

"We are at the end of the third quest," Dhruv answered without any hesitation.

"Doesn’t that mean you have gotten two sets of rewards? Where is the second one, Master?" Grec asked with a smile on his face.

Listening to this question, Dhruv felt that something was wrong here. ’Is this greedy bastard trying to lure me into something...’

"Master, what happened?" Noticing the silence, Grec asked once again.

"Nothing... yes, I have gotten two sets of rewards. The reward for the first quest is the armor and spear I have. The reward for the second quest is this throne and a blueprint for a castle..." Dhruv answered. He deliberately hid everything about the creation stone.

"Ohhh! Where is that blueprint, Master?" Grec asked as he hadn’t seen this reward yet. For some reason, there was a smirk on his face.

"I-it is in my inventory..." Dhruv answered with a bit of hesitation.

"Can I see it, Master?" Grec asked with a melodious tone.

’Here we go...’ Thinking this, Dhruv replied, "You can see it, but please be careful with it..."

With some slight hesitation, he brought out the precious piece of paper from his inventory and presented it to the Green Goblin.

Grec was about to open the beautifully folded paper but stopped as everybody else entered the room. Looking at the people in front of him, the goblin quickly sent the paper back into his inventory and focused on others.

’Why did he put it inside his inventory...’ Dhruv was concerned about this action of Grec, but he couldn’t do anything. Remembering to ask it back at the end of the meeting, he focused on the people as well.

Bowing to Dhruv, everybody picked up their respective seats and sat on them. Because the number of seats was already more than the number of people, there was no one standing even when Grec joined this meeting.

"Let the meeting start..." Dhruv announced as he looked at everyone else.

Being the one who had called everyone here, he started the meeting, "So, Lyra, how is the food situation?" Dhruv asked while looking at the priestess.

"It is alright... is there any special reason for this question, my lord?" Lyra asked back.

"I was asking because the goblin dungeon has been closed..." Dhruv answered. When he said this sentence, he realized something, that he had failed to consider before taking a massive step.

’Wait.. wait a second. Have I closed the goblin dungeon or not... I mean I have killed its boss but I created one as well. What will the cosmos consider this as... Will they consider it complete or not...’ Dhruv couldn’t help but begin to think about this over and over again.

In one moment, he thought that it should count as a success, but on another, he knew that it could also go into the failure category. After all, the dungeon is still there, standing high and proud.

Before he could get himself trapped in the prison of thought, a slightly loud voice echoed in the room...

"Master, are you alright?" Dhruv heard Alric voice in his direction.

"Ohhh! Yes, I’m alright. I was just lost in thought... where was I." Dhruv answered as he focused on the meeting once again.

"The food situation... My lord." Lyra replied.

"Ohh! Yes... how is our food situation?" Dhruv asked this question for the second time.

"Even though the goblin dungeon has been closed, there should be nothing to worry about. We have a warehouse full of meat and all types of edible things..." Pausing for breath she continues,

"If you want, My lord, we could store another warehouse with the monsters from the spider dungeon..." Lyra suggested.

’Warehouse..?’ Dhruv thought.

Turning toward her, he questions, "How are we storing foods in the warehouse... won’t they be spoiled after some time?"

"No.. we have used his lord Azarex Crystallce to create an environment where things won’t spoil for a long time. Even if they spoil, it won’t matter... After all, we are monsters.." Lyra answered with a smile on her face.

’Ohhh! I didn’t think of that..’ Dhruv thought.

"Is there anything you guys want to propose or ask..." Dhruv asked as he faced the other members.

Listening to this, both Thala and Navi raised their hands slightly.

’Navi.. is it about the crafters..’ Thinking, that this could be good news, he let Navi talk first.

"My lord, we need some monster core; we are in the last part, and the core we have is already exhausted," Navi asked.

"How many... and which tier," Dhruv asked back.

"It would be great if we get a few tier 2 cores, but tier 1 will do as well.." Navi answered.

"Alaric, please give about 50 tier 2 cores to him at the end of the meeting. That will do it right.." Dhruv asked as he looked at Navi.

"It will be more than enough, My lord," Navi answered with a smile on his face.

Seeing that Navi had finished speaking, Thala opened his mouth... "My lord, what is your proposal on the Spider dungeon."
