Chapter 197: Into The Spider Dungeon [Part-2]

Looking at the portal in front of him, Thala entered it without any hesitation. Within two seconds, he appeared in the narrow cave of the spider dungeon; knowing that others were to come as well, he quickly got away from the portal.

’Hmmmm! They had set the crystal here in this cave...’ He thought as he looked at the narrow cave in front of him. He was surprised because the last time he had come here there wasn’t anything like this.

Because there were multiple items that had to be transported from the spider dungeon, the crafters had prioritized setting Luminous crystals around the cave. These Luminous crystals had prevented many accidents from happening in this narrow cave.

The crystal engraved into this wall was exactly the same as they would get from digging in the dungeon; there wasn’t any modification done to them. Because there wasn’t any modification, they had to set one crystal every five meters, which was a total waste of resources.

Because they hadn’t found a way to increase the effectiveness of the crystal, they hadn’t bothered to add any Luminous stone to the island.

After a minute or two, all the people had teleported into the dungeon. Looking at the people in front of him, Thala asked, "Is everyone here..."

"Yes..." After looking around them, exactly six people had replied to Thala’s question.

Only six people had replied to his question because there were exactly six team leaders—four from the goblin and two from the extra ten people—here, seven if Thala is added.

Thala had already mentioned that if he were to ask anything, then only a leader had the authority to answer. This is the rule he had created so it wouldn’t become messy during battle.

"Okay... let’s move," Thala muttered while signaling with his hand, all of them began to move further into that narrow cave.

Because the passage was only big enough to fit two people side by side, it took them quite some time to get out of the narrow cave and into the main cave.

The view of the cave from the passage had entirely changed compared to that of the past. Almost all the resources had been dug out, all the beasts had been killed, and now there was nothing that could be called as beautiful.

"Now, from here on out, be in formation..." Thala ordered as he began to lead them further into the cave. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

After traveling for fifteen minutes, the beautiful cave began to get started. And with the beauty comes the beast.

Wooosh!!

Thala fired a wooden spear toward the snake that was slithering in front of them.

[You killed the monster, Lesser Phantom Nage.]

[....]

Ignoring the notification, Thala ordered.. "Move out and clear this area, there shouldn’t be any high-tier monsters here. But if you encounter any monster above tier 2, be sure to alert all of us."

Listening to the command, everyone nodded and began to move toward different locations within the cave. While moving around, all of them were constantly using their mana sense to locate the monsters.

"You guys should move out as well..." Thala mentioned this to his own team members. He suggested this because he knew that all of them could handle a tier 2 monster on their own and most monster here was at this tier.

All of them nodded to their leader’s suggestion and began to move away from Thala in order to hunt the monsters. The cave was wide enough that everyone could claim one side and hunt there without interfering with others.

When every one of them had moved out, Thala got toward the corpse of the snake and quickly extracted the monster’s core. Putting it in his leather sack, he began to search for any other monsters as well.

...

[You killed a monster, Adult Glimmerbat]

’Shit, these pesky shiny bats are quite difficult to kill.’ Thala thought as he remembered how many spears it took him to finish the monster. While walking toward the bat he focused on the screens in front of him.

[You have earned experience.]

[You have earned 1000 CC]

[You have leveled up.]

’Finally...it took me five bats and four snakes to just level up one level. Ugggg! There is a long way ahead,’ Thala thought as he looked at the level-up notification.

To check his level and other stuff, Thala opened his Status panel.

"So, I’m at level 11..." Thala sighed. He was quite disappointed by his own progress but there was nothing he could do.

After confirming that there wasn’t any skill that needed upgrading, Thala sighed and noticed that he had some coins to spare.

He wanted to buy mana potions with the coins but stopped after remembering that he couldn’t open a shop in the dungeon. This wasn’t a problem for him as he had already brought four mana potions.

Instead of keeping the coins as they were, he dumped all of them into increasing his Magic Power stats.

[Do you want to inv...]

Before even reading the whole sentence, he confirmed and began to move toward the bat body with a sore body.

’Where should I go next.’ While extracting the core from the monster’s body, Thala was pondering over the next hunting location.

Because the area around where he was standing was already being hunted by others Thala decided to go further in the cave.

"Let’s try to level up at least five times today..’ Making a mission in his mind he began to walk further in.
