Chapter 190: Starting The Slime Farm
Knowing that he would be the one to kill the slime, Dhruv lifted his hand and began to manipulate his mana. Having readied his mana, he was about to cast but had to stop because Navi had interrupted him.
"Uggg! My lord, please cast a basic spell..." Navi urged hesitantly.
Navi had said this because he still clearly remembered the day when Dhruv had used an enhanced magic spear just to show it as an example during his magic teaching class.
"Of course.." Dhruv coughed as he quickly adjusted his mana.
Without wasting any moment, he fired the most basic spell he knew, Metal Bullet. The bullet traveled for a moment and hit the slime directly in its chest. After getting hit with it, instead of dying, the slime got divided in half.
Just a moment after dividing both parts of the slime tried to merge together, but before they could do that, a fireball hit them. After getting hit by the fireball, the monster wasn’t able to survive.
[You have killed a monster: Lesser Acid Slime]
[You have...]
[You have...]
’I didn’t notice this, but is that the slimes were able to divide themselves because of their limited immortality skill.’ Dhruv thought as he observed the notification in front of him.
Before he could think any further, he began hearing sounds of applause around him.
Clap! Clap! Clap!..
Looking at everyone clapping, a smile appeared on his face. Quickly the claps stopped, and the area once again delved into silence.
"Navi, you can open the rest of the gate as you see fit," Dhruv ordered as he looked at Navi.
"Okay, My lord." Saying this, Navi began to move toward the gate and quickly closed it. During that time interval, around five slimes had gotten out from there, and all of them were killed by Alaric.
"Guys, let’s meet in the meeting room." After giving his order, Dhruv began to walk toward his house once again.
Understanding Dhruv’s words, everyone began to follow him. After a few minutes of walking, they reached the lord’s house. Reaching the meeting room, everyone sat in their respective seats and began to wait for the meeting to start.
Dhruv didn’t waste their time either and quickly started the meeting.
"Have I told you this... I don’t think... So... Me, Alaric, and Vexar had cleared the second floor of the dungeon." Dhruv stated.
After processing this information, Thala replied,
"That’s why it took you this much time. How was the second floor..."
Interrupting him, the Old man quickly interjected, "My lord, I was so eager to fight, why did you leave us behind."
"...the thing is, I wasn’t planning to fight... at first, at least. After encountering a monster during our checking, I thought that the monsters on this floor would use poison as their offense, and because we didn’t have a proper counter for poisons yet... I just decided to clear out the floor." Dhruv explained things very partially, yet it was enough for others to understand.
"Monster who uses poison as their offense, what type of monster was that.." Thala asked.
"The name of the monster was Goblin Shaman.." Dhruv gave the name of the monster truthfully.
The moment they heard the word shaman, everyone gave a collective nod.
"Talking about the second floor, Lyra, you have to clear everything on that floor as soon as possible. I planned to go to the third floor, and we don’t have a clue what would happen to the dungeon after killing the boss." Dhruv addressed this problem as he looked at the priestess.
"I will remember to act upon it, my lord," Lyra replied.
"Talking about clearing the dungeon... Thala, create a group and go to the spider dungeon..." After saying this he pauses for a few seconds. After thinking for a moment he looks at Thala and continues...
"Because the spider dungeon didn’t have any floor system in it. It will be very difficult to judge when the tier of the monster will increase, so be as careful as possible. By the way, you have mana sense, right?" After stating this, Dhruv asked this question.
"Of course, I have that skill, my lord," Thala answered without any hesitation.
"Good... Always try to check the tier of the monster before fighting them," Dhruv advised as he moved his head. He was trying to find Vexar.
Vexar wasn’t available in this meeting, and how come he be available here when he is asleep in the priestess’s house? Being kind as she is, Lyra didn’t even disturb the demon in his sleep and just asked for someone to help.
Having everything said he initially had planned, Dhruv began to think if there was anything else that needed his attention. After ten seconds of pondering, he quickly remembered something.
"Navi, before starting the slime farm, divide everyone into groups so everyone has the chance to earn coins from it," Dhruv suggested.
Dhruv had to indicate this because he knew that in the coming days, the demand for coins was going to increase, and thus an increase in tension between people was inevitable.
Dhruv was able to understand this problem due to his talk with Oliva, and thus he got a chance to act upon it before anything happened.
"I will do that as soon as possible," Navi nodded without any objection as he was also able to understand some of the problems.
"How far have the crafters progressed in their craft?" Dhruv asked the question.
"Because they had to work with limited resources, the starting has been slow, but I had got the news that within two or three days, they will get the result," Navi explained.
"So, they will get results. Whatever it will be, a success or failure couldn’t be recognized yet, right?" Dhruv asked.
"Right," Navi nodded.
After that, Dhruv talked about some minor issues and then closed the meeting.
Even when an hour had passed and Vexar hadn’t woken up, Dhruv had to send a messenger to wake him up.
After getting together, Dhruv, Alaric, and Vexar once again began to walk toward the portal.
