Chapter 419: Chapter 419: Death God State

A blast of black fog spread out killing every plant for thousands of kilometres. When it cleared he appeared.

His building was slimmer, his claws were longer and the aura of death surrounded him like a cloak.

This was his death god state, the death god state wasn’t necessarily stronger than his normal state.

The difference was, while his normal state gave him a stronger connection to his laws of life and creation.

The death god increases his connection to the laws of death and destruction. In his normal state.

His presence can heal the world, even his blood was an elixir of life but in this state, he was death incarnate.

The reason he took this form was because it was more effective in battle but it couldn’t be maintained.

The laws of life and creation had the power to heal and passively effect him as well, the same goes here.

His body can’t handle these two laws for long. The only reason he can last as long as he can is because of his law avatar.

It can still provide life origin drops which negate some of the effects of the two laws, especially destruction.

As soon as the form appeared he used his dragon magic. " By the might of my destruction, I command your death."

This form made it easier to incorporate his destruction law to his magic.Makes it more effective

As soon as those words were uttered, the hawk paused. The eye on its forehead turned dark.

The bones surrounding its body turned black and whithered in real time and in front of everybody, it died.

Even Ved paused, ’ What the hell, I didn’t think the spell would be so powerful.’ he thought deep down.

Outside he showed no expression, not even surprise as if he had expected this. Naledi was the same.

But in her case she genuinely believed this was possible for him all along. " Yeah but you’ve used up all your mana."

Manas reminded him, Ved thought about it, he could send his avatar to the mystic realm but doing so would reduce his power by a quarter.

’ Dragon magic is the strongest thing in my arsenal, damnit.’ he secretly sent the avatar to the mystic realm.

Just as he did a kick landed on his chin, his neck snapped to the side and he shot down like a meteor.

He flew back up and faced the one who had attacked him. It wasn’t their leader but a massive guy with greyish rick skin.

" Gragari." Gragari were one of the races known for physical strength. The gragari looked down at his foot.

The one he had used to kick Ved and there was a black spot on it. The rock skin cracked and fell off.

" Do not underestimate him Grendal, he’s a special target, do not let his low level deceive you."

Their leader reminded him before beckoning the others to move. They split with seven coming after him.

Four went against Naledi who had dorned her crown of divinity. Unfortunately she was busy.

The ability she was going to use needed preparation or it would come with a backlash.

This meant her safety depended on Ved. He split himself further into three avatars and split up.

While this weakened him, he was still strong enough to hold on for a while. He used every enhancement from ignition to his dragon law avatar and divine flames.

Ribbons of different colours danced around his body. His strength grew to new heights but it was not enough.

Fallen were strong in general, even on the same level let alone when seven levels above him.

Even though ignition raised his level to four it was not enough to match their strength, especially since he was using avatars.

The only thing that can work was his dragon magic which was impossible to dodge since it was just a command.

Ved used his martial dao alongside his law of death, each punch, claw swipe and bite was followed by a wave of dead aura.

They resisted his law of death, the only reason he was still standing was because of his iron scales.

Even the strongest of them, the leader who had a grey eye bones bones could barely break through them.

Her power was immense, above that of his avatars by far but his iron scales were unreasonably strong as well.

Even after managing to break his scales and reach his flesh, his regeneration would just heal him back up.

And just like that, his avatars became punching bags who couldn’t die nor give up. No matter how hard they tried they couldn’t touch Naledi.

Eventually their leader got frustrated and backed off. " You’re are one annoying pest." She raised her hand to the sky.

Ved felt a tremendous aura gathering above her. He didn’t wait to see what she was cooking up.

He fired a beam of pure white dragon breath at her. She pointed her finger forming a wall of bones.

His dragon breath drilled into the wall but failed to break through. He flapped his wings and flew at her like a beam of colourful light.

The others blocked his path, their bodies were covered in bone armour which made it hard even for him to break through.

He merged two avatars leaving only one behind to defend Naledi. ’ Damnit, this is taking too long.’

Absorbing mana from the mystic realm was taking much longer than he would prefer. At this rate, they might lose.

Naledi’s aura starred climbing, her divine flames blazed high making the temperature drop to absolute zero for thousands of kilometres.

Ved used the Wings of Garuda, the divine flames of the divine weapon merged with his own divine flames.

BOOOOOM, the air shattered, space cracks appeared on his path and he sped up even more.

This caught his opponents off guard but they were all strong, they reacted in time and conjured multiple bone walls in front of him.

Ved opened his mouth wide and bit, unfortunately his mouth couldn’t open wide enough so he ended up grazing the wall of bones.

He gritted his teeth in frustration and punched. His punch contained his martial dao, law of might and law of destruction.

Combined with his Herculean trait, the power behind the punch forced his opponents to take it seriously.
