Chapter 420: Chapter 420: Plans Derailed
He broke through multiple walls of bones but eventually the force of his punch came to a stop.
Every wall that he punched turned black and crumbled like sand. The law of destruction permeated through their entire structure down to thes last atoms.
Unfortunately he hadn’t mastered the law of destruction to the extent of completely wiping things out of existence.
At least not without using dragon magic but he still didn’t have enough mana to cast a spell powerful enough.
The giant gragari met him head on, his bone armour glistened like polished metal and he grew to a kilometre tall.
A fist with spiked bones clashed with Ved’s claw. Since Ved was only using two avatars he naturally lost that exchange.
However the gragari barely managed to break through his scales not causing much damage at all.
However that punch still sent Ved flying like like a meteor. He crashed in the ground sending a shockwave mixed with death laws in every direction.
The others ignored him and lunged towards Naledi. " No you don’t!" He roared and fired a beam of dragon breath.
The world turned white blinding all of them, they dodged the dragon breath with slowed them down for a moment.
Before they could react his other avatar acted. He opened his mouth and fired a massive amount of Fog.
Not knowing what the Fog was, they all retreated as fast as they could. The gold fog covered hundreds of thousands of kilometres shrouding both him and Naledi.
The entire battlefield was surrounded by the gold fog, inside the fog there were tiny golden sand particles.
Ved slowly manipulated them, so slowly his enemies did not even notice. They all launched their attacks.
Since their leader couldn’t leave her place while preparing whatever attack she was preparing.
They took were forced to remain within the fog but after some time they realised the Fog was not dangerous.
Boom, the fog cleared and Ved appeared, his blood boiling so hot the air simmered around him.
Boom boom boom, he delivered three claw swipes, each imbued with multiple laws as well martial dao.
Mixing martial dao with laws was hard enough, mixing it with multiple laws was something only monsters can do.
However Ved still failed to break through their defences, he couldn’t reach their leader and stop her.
Using the gold fog he did from them, they all realised what the fog was for, it can hide him aura from them.
They couldn’t sense him through the fog until he takes action himself, they couldn’t sense Naledi either.
" Be careful, this dragon is cunning, he could be hiding anywhere." Their leader warmed but there was no need.
" ROAAAAAR!" the gragari giant roared, a visible air wave spread out pushing the fog away.
But it filled back in in the blink of an eye making it futile to try and clear it. Instead they put all their focus on where Ved was.
Unfortunately for them, he didn’t attack, not yet. "Look for them, this could be a distraction for them to run." It was obvious why she was the leader.
She was obviously smarter than the others, the attack above her head kept forming become more and more visible.
It looked like a skull, a pitch black skull which would be above the limit of a grey bone user, that skull was at the level of a divinity.
Its presence erased the air around it, the void after all represented an endless silence, not nothing.
It was the absence of concept themselves, a power beyond even destruction itself. Destruction at ot highest can erase things to nothingness.
The void was not nothingness, not truly, it was the first thing ever was yet it never was for its existence is not real.
It is the representation of the before, it transcended the heavens themselves. All power originating from it was strong.
Therefore the presence of the skull erased the air around it but it wasn’t powerful enough to erase reality itself yet.
As the skull was getting more and more real, clouds started gathering above them. The leader of this group looked up and clicked her tongue.
" The heavens are close to noticing our presence, we have to end this quickly or we’re not leaving out of here alive."
There was no answer from her subordinates, they stood around her defensively, she figured they were being vigilant.
------------------------------------------
Outside.
Anglomesh and the others noticed the peculiarity not just in this dimensional space but all the others as well.
" The fallen managed to infiltrate the stages, how did this happen?" Anglomesh asked with a loud roar.
The other sovereigns didn’t answer, they didn’t know how to answer. They could all feel the heavens rage.
Even as sovereigns, they couldn’t deal with the heavens, only gods stood equal to them. Worst still.
The laws they had set inside those stage grounds were negated somehow, meaning those who die inside will die for real now.
The sovereigns rushed to open the stage grounds but something powerful had locked them out.
As soon as Anglomesh sensed this power he felt his scales growing cold. He recognised it from that God.
’ Interfering so soon? What exactly is their plan here?’ he wondered but he couldn’t come up with an answer.
’ Is it to wipe out our young talents? But why, these are children, even given a thousand years they can’t stand a chance against a god.’
Anglomesh understood the actual purpose of this entire thing was to give him a chance at godhood.
The initial plan proposed by Flamel was to forcefully merge all universes into their own, most other sovereigns didn’t have an issue with this.
They understood him reaching godhood would be their greatest chance at survival but none of them understood.
The path to Godhood has been cut off, merging the universes alone would not be enough.
He would still need to forge the path himself then create a divinity throne and divine realm.
Unfortunately the means and method to do so were lost during the great war, however that didn’t mean there wasn’t hope.
Because Anglomesh had seen that hope in two children who reminded him of the strongest beings to ever be born below the heavens.
He had a feeling, they were the hope of the universe.
