Chapter 409: Chapter 409: Green Ranges (1)

In front of the giant gates stood multiple sovereigns. They were laying a barrier around the gate.

Aira and Avery were there watching, learning. Aira’s vessel was suitable in fact it specialized in sealing formations.

So watching sovereigns work was very beneficial to her. Why were they sealing the gate you as

A few days ago, the sovereigns had a discussion and came to a conclusion. They needed time.

That god alone could wipe them all out, they needed a god of their own but a single god will never be enough.

That meant the universes had to merge to be strong enough to give birth to Gods and at the same time, they needed to increase the strength of the next generation.

That meant the weaker universes would be absorbed without question. Then the top 102 universes will compete.

The competition will be between those at rank 5 to 7. Unfortunately creation realm above didn’t qualify.

It is for the same reason White’s and Cat’s master sent them to the singularity space of Pangera instead of going themselves.

They couldn’t go there and even if they could, it still wouldn’t benefit them, the same went for sovereigns.

The reason for that was simple, creation realms had comprehended laws at or above 50 percent.

At that stage, they were like students who had graduated college and told to depend on themselves.

Sovereigns were fully grown adults with children and a house of their own and the universe is the parent.

At that age, the parent refuses to support you. At comprehension realm, they’re closer to highschool graduate.

Not exactly independent but not fully dependent either but still requiring assistance from their parents.

And so, it was decided. The deciding winner will be between those at comprehension realm.

Those at rank 5 and 6 competed for one reason. A chance to enter the singularity space of the winning universe.

The plan is that, the winning universe will merge all universes at once to maximise the gains.

Of course this still left the possibility of stronger universes refusing to admit defeat and so every leader was forced to make a heavenly oath.

The tournament would start in a year, in that year, those chosen to represent their universes could do whatever they wanted.

Elena was forbidden by her universe from training Naledi during that time but she did give her a book with a list of spatial abilities.

Much to Naledi’s joy. Ved was going to use that time to hunt and use the evolution points to upgrade his traits.

So the two of them would have to spend the time apart. What surprised Ved was who chose to join.

He understood those like Angelica, White and Pulse but he didn’t expect Traxy to want to join as well.

Not to mention Nimue. To prepare they left together to start training. There weren’t many turtle spiritual beasts to begin with.

Finding a teacher was going to be hard so they planned to train by themselves. Ursela, Linglong and everybody left.

Ved planned to take his own trip unfortunately where he intended to go was too far.

He would need to escorted by somebody much stronger than him. Without another choice he went and asked Fenral.

Fenral didn’t have a chance to agree before Anglomesh proposed to take Ved himself. Ved was confused by that.

They were from different universes, Anglomesh had no reason to help Ved like that.

But Anglomesh’s answer was that he just felt like it and so he was going to do it. Ved agreed.

Where he was going was the place with the most abundance of demonic beasts and thickest ambient essence energy.

It was called the green ranges. A mountain range that formed a spiral where essence energy get thicker the further in you go.

There were also sovereign level demonic beasts closer to the centre of the mountain range so he wouldn’t play there.

He was just going to stick on the outer edges of the mountain range and hunt demonic beasts around his level.

Anglomesh dropped him a few kilometres outside the mountain range. " Good luck young dragon."

Ved thanked him and flew to the mountain ranges. He hadn’t even gotten far when he came across a pack of rank 5 wolves.

They shivered upon seeing him but he ignored them, they were too weak to interest him.

He settled on the peak of a tall mountain and watched below like a hawk waiting for prey. In the meantime, he decided to check his status screen.

Name: Ved Zhakrii

Species: Great Myriad Dragon (464years/1 000 000 years) (535m/1000m) Low Divine Grade

Rank: 7 (7%, 7%)

Abilities(6/6): Trait Assimilation, Soul Force, Aspects integration, Ignition, Gene Mimic, Dragon Breath.

Traits(12/12): Poison secretion, Herculean strength (50 000x), Aquatic, Flash (5 000x), Iron scales (4 000 000x), Web Secretion, Electric Discharge, Regeneration, Nuclear Reactor, Avatar, Stealth, Formless Shift

Evolution points:(0/ 480)

Things hadn’t changed, he wondered which traits to upgrade. Considering his upgrades will be sub law arts, he should think carefully.

He didn’t want to mess things up for the upcoming tournament. Electric discharge was definitely there.

He needs it to be able to use dragon breath to its full extent. Regeneration was a good choice too.

He didn’t know about nuclear reactor, it might be powerful but it was an uncertainty so he pushed it back.

Stealth was definitely going to be skipped this time. The tournament was most likely going to be a head on fight.

Stealth will not do much in that situation and then there was formless shift. That one interested him.

Unfortunately he hadn’t comprehended the law of intangibility to the necessary level. The law of mist can used a substitute but it would be weaker.

Poison secretion was also an interesting, that was his first trait after all and poison can be very powerful.

He would see when the time comes on that one. The one he won’t upgrade is aquatic, his ability to swim and breathe underwater was good enough.

Then he wondered, " Manas, can the abilities be upgraded too?"
