"What kind of ability is he going to awaken for his temperature to rise so much?" Bai Meiyue could not help but wonder as she looked at the man lying on the bed. Only then did Bai Meiyue realise that these women were the ones who were kidnapped by Chief Luo and Dacheng.

It seemed like they were finally released and allowed to return to the safe base; as soon as they returned, the first thing they did was to look for their children. When Bai Meiyue heard their cries, she could not help but feel sorry for them; at the same time, she felt angry at Dacheng and Lu Yin. Those two —they really had no humanity left within their hearts. Bai Meiyue watched the women and children crying and felt a sense of relief.

At least she was able to unite these poor women with their children. With that thought, she turned around on her feet and headed toward her mansion, but as soon as she took a step, she felt a sharp pain shoot up her spine and almost staggered on her feet.
