Chapter 336: Chapter 336: They’re All Madmen

Andrew Shaw nodded subconsciously.

But the next moment, he realized something was off. Her words were a little strange.

’What does she mean, I have to tell her in advance if anything comes up?’

He was just a five-year-old kid. What kind of situations could he possibly know about?

’Does she know something?’

As he mulled it over, he shook his head.

Hearing this, Stella Sterling let out a soft laugh and glanced at him in the rearview mirror.

But Stella Sterling didn’t call his bluff.

In the mirror’s reflection, Andrew Shaw saw Stella Sterling’s expression.

’He was filled with doubt, unable to decipher the meaning behind her gaze.’

But now, he didn’t dare say another word.

’The more you say, the more you get wrong. Since I don’t know what’s going on, it’s best to keep my mouth shut.’

She had no intention of exposing him. She wanted to see how long he could keep it up.

So for the rest of the trip, Stella Sterling intentionally and unintentionally tested him.

But perhaps because of what happened earlier, he had already become wary.

So, the boy was much more careful from then on.

Even when Stella Sterling deliberately drove them toward dangerous areas, he didn’t make a peep.

"Miss, are you... kind of unlucky?"

Andrew Shaw, sitting behind her, suddenly asked this. Stella Sterling looked at him with some confusion. "Why do you ask?"

He hadn’t said anything before because he was afraid that whatever he said would arouse her suspicion again.

Even though he knew the road she was about to take would have certain issues, he thought about it and decided to hold his tongue.

After all, none of it was life-threatening. At most, it would be a hassle that required a detour once they discovered it.

So he endured it and didn’t say anything.

But he never would have imagined that this woman could be so unlucky. Every single road she chose was a bad one.

After this happened several times, he was starting to suspect she had some kind of "unlucky constitution."

’I’m already unlucky enough. Don’t tell me the person I’m with is just as unlucky.’

Hearing this, Stella Sterling was first taken aback, and then she burst out laughing.

She had just wanted to test him and see how long he could hold out, but she never expected it to cause such a misunderstanding.

She scoffed, her voice calm. "Why don’t you look at it from another angle? I’ve encountered so many situations and come out unscathed every time. That’s clearly a lucky constitution. How is that unlucky?"

Hearing that, it was Andrew Shaw’s turn to be stunned.

Looking at the problem from a different angle, her logic was actually flawless.

’Well, she’s got a pretty good mindset, that’s for sure. Always looking on the bright side, never wearing herself down with negativity.’

A person like that, with that kind of mentality, was pretty well-suited for the apocalypse.

He thought back to before he was reborn. The people around him were all lunatics, every single one.

And yet, they all had great mindsets. If their mentalities had been poor, they would have gone completely insane long ago.

But those people were only a little crazy in spirit; their reason was still intact.
