Chapter 60: Chapter 60: The Slippers Are Put to Great Use

Lily Hart was left speechless. He was clearly a repeat offender, and so brazen about it.

Zeke Lowell struggled to stand straight under the pressure of Frost Shaw and Roman Rowe’s auras. "Brothers, get them!"

He turned his head, only to see his men either knocked out on the ground or unconscious. He was the only one left standing, all alone against powerful enemies. Zeke Lowell’s confidence instantly evaporated.

A Fourth Rank like him against a Seventh Rank and a Sixth Rank? He didn’t stand a chance... The defenses in his heart began to crumble.

Then he remembered Frost Shaw’s string of titles: the Ice Sculpture Fiend, the Ice Sculpture Creator, the Lord of Ice. Zeke Lowell’s legs went weak...

THUD. Zeke Lowell dropped to his knees, hands clasped behind his head. He begged for mercy in a trembling voice, "Ancestor, my heart was clouded by greed..."

As he spoke, he shuffled forward on his knees and latched onto Frost Shaw’s thigh.

Frost Shaw kicked him away, sending him sprawling in front of Lily Hart. "Begging me is useless," he said coldly.

’So that’s how it is,’ Zeke Lowell thought. ’Even an expert like Frost Shaw has to bow to this young lady?’

’What kind of magic does she possess?’ He didn’t have time to think. Zeke Lowell lunged forward, trying to grab Lily Hart’s leg.

’Beg for mercy first,’ he decided. ’Where there’s life, there’s hope.’

Lily Hart dodged with lightning speed and sneered, "I don’t want to shorten my lifespan."

Zeke Lowell ignored her and continued shuffling on his knees, chasing after Lily Hart. Just as he was about to grab her leg, she kicked him away again.

Lily Hart’s voice was stern. "Where are the things you stole? Hand them over!"

’He’s so annoying to watch. Weren’t you so tough when you were smashing up the convenience store? Why are you being such a coward now?’

Zeke Lowell was extremely reluctant, but the pressure on his body grew heavier and heavier, almost crushing him into paste.

He had no choice but to take out the shelves from his spatial storage. He had planned to keep everything for himself, which was why he hadn’t brought them out during the earlier celebration.

The goods on the shelves were untouched. Seeing that their boss had confessed, the other lackeys also handed over their shares of the loot.

Frost Shaw collected everything into his own spatial storage. This was all money; not a single item could be left behind.

Lily Hart looked around, still not satisfied. She kicked Zeke Lowell again. "Hand over all your good stuff!"

"You can’t—" The word had barely left his mouth when Frost Shaw’s pressure descended, forcing his spine to bend at a ninety-degree angle and making him curl up on the floor.

The pressure eased slightly, and Zeke Lowell gasped for breath. He wanted to struggle, his fingers twitching as he prepared to release his superpower.

Before he could even summon the energy in his body, Frost Shaw appeared before him in a flash, as if he had teleported.

He stomped on the side of Zeke Lowell’s face, grinding it into the ground, and said viciously, "Don’t make Boss Hart say it a third time."

Lily Hart felt a thrill. ’Having underlings is awesome. You don’t have to do anything, just move your lips.’

’No wonder so many big shots love recruiting followers.’ Lily Hart looked at Frost Shaw’s obediently styled hair and Roman Rowe standing beside her like a male model, and secretly made a resolution.

’I must recruit lots and lots of followers. And they have to be handsome and powerful. That’s a woman’s true badge of honor!’

Zeke Lowell was terrified. The pressure from a higher rank was like an insurmountable mountain...

His lips trembled uncontrollably. He was terrified yet unwilling to concede, but the Crystal Cores in his spatial storage came pouring out like falling beans, CLATTERING all over the place.

Among them were several High-level Crystal Cores. Frost Shaw produced a burlap sack from somewhere, and with a wave of his hand, all the Crystal Cores flew into it.

Only then was Lily Hart satisfied. She crossed her arms and ordered, "Tie them all up."

Roman Rowe hadn’t had a chance to do anything yet. Fearing he wouldn’t be invited to the next hot pot session, he sprang into action the moment he heard the order.

He skillfully retrieved several hemp ropes from his spatial storage and tossed two to Frost Shaw.

Clutching a rope himself, he walked toward the group of men with a sinister chuckle. The closer he got, the more they huddled into the corner.

Dozens of men were crammed into a single corner. Seeing this, Zeke Lowell shouted, "It was all my idea! If you’re going to tie someone up, tie me up!"

Lily Hart personally walked over with a rope and kicked him twice to vent her anger. "That’s for smashing my convenience store! And that’s for robbing me!"

"You’re all getting tied up, so what’s the rush? If your mouth is so idle, go suck someone off. Don’t just stand here shouting," Lily Hart cursed.

She unceremoniously wrapped the rope around Zeke Lowell’s body. Frost Shaw, fearing he might struggle and hurt Lily Hart...

...deliberately increased the pressure on him, immobilizing him so he could only let Lily Hart tie him up obediently.

Lily Hart was just an ordinary person—and the non-athletic type at that. It took all her strength to get Zeke Lowell tied up securely.

After she finished, she was completely exhausted. She sat on the ground, panting, and watched as Frost Shaw and Roman Rowe skillfully tied the others into a large bundle.

They were like pigs on a chopping block, completely powerless and waiting to be slaughtered.

"Ancestor, I was wrong! I’ll be a good person from now on, I’ll never steal or rob again!" Zeke Lowell yelled, not giving up.

He figured that since she was a woman, she must be soft-hearted. A little more begging would surely work.

Annoyed by his whining, Lily Hart took off her slipper and shoved it into his mouth. "Shut up," she snarled. "Say another word and I’ll cut out your tongue!"

A slipper was stuffed in Zeke Lowell’s mouth, but it didn’t fill the space completely, leaving gaps. He was forced to keep his mouth open, and drool flowed out uncontrollably.

Ever since he became a boss and gathered his own crew, he had never been so humiliated—and by a woman with no strength to speak of!

Zeke Lowell thought viciously, ’Just wait until I escape. Wait until I make a comeback. I’ll make you pay!’

Just then, Lily Hart glanced down and met his vicious gaze. Annoyed, she took off her other slipper and used the rope to tie it to his head.

The slipper completely blocked Zeke Lowell’s vision. Now he couldn’t speak or see.

He was absolutely fuming.

Before long, Frost Shaw and Roman Rowe had also completed their grand task of tying everyone up.

Frost Shaw asked, "How should we deal with them?"

A vicious glint flashed in Lily Hart’s eyes. "Break Zeke Lowell’s arms and legs and feed him to the zombies. As for the others, whichever hand they used to smash the store, chop it off."

As soon as she said this, someone couldn’t help but cry out for mercy. "I-I’m just a nobody who follows orders! Please spare me..."

"I have a family to support! They depend on me! I can’t die!"

For a moment, pleas for mercy rose from all sides, but Lily Hart felt no satisfaction.

An image of the convenience store—a total wreck, with nothing but shattered glass on the floor—flashed through her mind, hardening her resolve.

’People must pay the price for their actions.’

They were used to acting recklessly, relying on their numbers. They had robbed nearly everyone in this urban village.

Some of them, emboldened by having Zeke Lowell as their boss, had even preyed on the women and girls among the survivors. They had done every evil deed imaginable.

Lily Hart clenched her fists and spat out coldly, "And while you’re at it, chop off those useless things between their legs."

Frost Shaw and Roman Rowe glanced at each other, an inexplicable chill running down their spines. But they didn’t dare object and could only comply.

She turned and walked out the door. Listening to the screams of agony and pleas for mercy from behind the wall, she felt a little agitated.

This was the first time she had ordered such a brutal punishment, but she knew that the apocalypse was a dog-eat-dog world.

’Here, you have to be ruthless!’

’Thank goodness she had the system and all of this. Otherwise, with her lack of strength and her good looks, she wouldn’t even know how she’d died.’
