Chapter 25: Level 6

Enzo had no time to celebrate his incredible stroke of luck.

No one would have expected a monster inside the Monster Prison to actually drop an item.

He immediately controlled Violet to leave the cell.

Everyone knew Violet had obtained a Skill Book, but no one knew what kind of skill it contained.

If they did, they would probably cry from envy.

Without stopping, Violet walked toward another cell containing a single Level 7 Wolf—the same type she had killed the previous night.

DING!

(50,000 Dollars have been deducted from your balance. Remaining Balance: 35,000 Dollars!)

Violet pushed open the cell door and stepped inside.

This time, she didn’t pick up the sword lying near the entrance.

As the wolf lunged at her, she suddenly leaped backward.

The wolf immediately chased after her.

No one noticed that the sword beside the second gate had suddenly begun moving on its own.

They would have realized what was happening if they could see the Mana Threads extending from Violet’s fingers.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t.

The threads were completely invisible.

’Interesting...’ Enzo thought.

With a single Mana Thread, Violet could control the sword as naturally as if she were holding it in her own hand.

The sword wasn’t heavy, making it extremely easy to manipulate. In reality, what mattered was an object’s weight, not its shape.

Mana Energy, which was tied to the Intelligence Attribute, wasn’t meant for lifting heavy objects.

That was the job of the Strength Attribute.

Shua!

Pulled by the invisible thread, the sword shot toward the wolf.

The beast never noticed it because Violet had also concealed the sword with her Invisible skill.

In the blink of an eye, the blade pierced through the wolf’s back and straight into its heart, killing it instantly.

Only then did the sword reappear.

Naturally, the Mana Thread itself never became visible. Violet had already severed the flow of Mana, causing it to disappear completely.

The spectators were dumbfounded.

They blinked repeatedly, unable to understand what they had just witnessed.

DING!

(Your character has killed a Level 7 Monster. You and your character have gained 100 EXP!)

(You have gained 10 SP!)

(You and your character have accumulated 5,500 EXP and advanced to Level 6!)

(Your Strength has increased from 19 to 29!)

(Your Intelligence has increased from 15 to 25!)

(Violet’s Strength has increased from 21 to 26!)

(Violet’s Intelligence has increased from 18 to 23!)

(Violet’s Vitality has increased from 10 to 20!)

[Name: Enzo Muller]

[Level: 6]

[EXP: 5,500/10,000]

[Strength: 29] [Agility: 27] [Intelligence: 25] [Vitality: 17]

[SP: 260]

[Name: Violet Muller]

[Level: 6]

[EXP: 5,500/10,000]

[Strength: 26] [Agility: 30 +20%] [Intelligence: 23] [Vitality: 20 +20%]

At last, Level 6.

A bright smile spread across Enzo’s face.

Both he and Violet had gained a total of 20 Attribute Points.

It was essentially the equivalent of leveling up twice at once. The higher the level, the greater the cumulative Attribute gains became.

Of course, leveling up also became increasingly difficult.

Now they needed another 4,500 EXP to reach the next level.

Violet calmly walked out of the prison cell.

Since she had already leveled up, she wasn’t in any hurry to challenge another monster.

Her gaze swept across the beginners gathered around to watch, and she frowned.

"What? How long are you people planning to stay here?" she asked indifferently. "Have the Goblins upstairs become too weak to fight already?"

Even more spectators had gathered by now.

Enzo found them nothing but a nuisance.

He preferred having Violet operate alone, without an audience watching her every move.

Hearing her words, the young Awakeners exchanged awkward glances.

"We’re just watching," one of them replied. "This is a public place. We have every right to be here."

Most of them hurried away the moment Violet spoke.

However, someone actually answered back, causing those who were about to leave to freeze in place.

They couldn’t help wondering if this person didn’t know that Violet had no hesitation attacking anyone who irritated her.

Of course, some of the newcomers had arrived late and hadn’t heard what had happened earlier.

Violet narrowed her eyes as she looked toward the speaker.

He wasn’t a beginner.

It was Augus Brown and his teammates.

Standing behind them were Waylon Brown and his group.

"Hey, that’s Augus Brown from New York," someone whispered. "The previous year’s graduate with an S-Class Talent."

"So that’s him."

"If it’s Augus, then it doesn’t matter if he provokes Violet."

"Hahaha, a senior with the same Talent Rank, but at a much higher level."

Someone who disliked Violet’s arrogance laughed quietly.

So...

How was Violet going to handle this situation?
