Chapter 23: Gorilla
All of Violet’s actions were recorded by the three insect drones.
Through his phone, Enzo could watch the footage in real time.
He had already scanned the QR code on the bracelet Violet was now wearing.
Even through his virtual screen, he could enlarge the code until it was perfectly clear.
Of course, he only wanted to check the recordings himself. There was no way he would upload a video like this to Violet’s social media accounts.
Violet descended into the prison’s underground level.
She needed another 2,600 EXP to reach Level 6, which was obviously no easy task.
Perhaps curious about her next fight, several beginners followed her into the basement to watch, while Violet appeared to be considering which monster she should challenge.
She wanted to level up in a single battle.
Her gaze soon settled on a gorilla with reddish skin, its massive muscles crisscrossed by veins as thick as steel cables. Standing nearly four meters tall, it was more than twice the height of an average human.

Without a monster this powerful, there was no way she could level up by defeating just one enemy.
Enzo decided that Violet would fight this gorilla. Before that, however, he transferred another 60,000 Dollars to Violet’s Sanctuary Card, increasing its balance to 100,000 Dollars.
Violet walked toward the gorilla’s cell.
The beast immediately locked its fierce eyes onto her even while she was still standing outside.
"What? Is she planning to fight a Level 10 Monster?"
"Even with an S-Class Talent, that’s still far too dangerous unless she’s already Level 6. I’m pretty sure she’s only Level 5."
The watching beginners couldn’t help gasping in shock.
In their eyes, Violet had become even more reckless.

The cost of challenging the gorilla was exactly as expensive as Enzo had expected.
Previously, fighting four Level 7 wolves had already cost 50,000 Dollars.
Violet stepped inside, picked up the sword, and continued through the second gate.
Enzo controlled her with an unusually serious expression, and in fact, everyone watching wore the same look.

The gorilla bellowed at Violet in furious rage.
Standing upright, it charged toward her while pounding its chest twice.

The gorilla immediately became confused when Violet disappeared.

Its crimson aura flared even more intensely, causing Enzo to frown.
That was precisely why he delayed Violet’s attack.
He believed the aura would interfere with any surprise strike.
However, as he continued observing, he realized the crimson aura was rapidly draining the gorilla’s energy every passing second.
’Fine... let’s see which of us can last longer,’ Enzo thought.
He moved Violet into a corner of the cell, completely erasing her presence.
He then transferred 10 of his 15 Intelligence to Violet, instantly raising her Intelligence to 18.
This allowed her to maintain Invisible, which consumed Mana Energy, for twice as long as she normally could.
Even with only 5 Intelligence remaining, Enzo could still maintain his Gamer Talent without any difficulty.
"What the hell? Where did she go?"
After several minutes had passed and Violet still hadn’t reappeared, everyone watching grew increasingly confused.
Of course, a few of them understood what she was doing.
"She’s waiting for the gorilla to run out of Mana Energy."
"I see... The gorilla won’t deactivate that crimson aura as long as its instincts keep warning it about danger."
"But what if she runs out of Mana Energy first?"
"Then she’ll lose."
"Maybe not. She can still fight even without Mana Energy."
"Look..."
Suddenly, the gorilla’s breathing became noticeably heavier.
"It’s getting tired. Its Intelligence is probably much lower than its other Attributes."
As the gorilla grew exhausted, the crimson aura surrounding it naturally began to shrink.
Seeing that, Enzo smiled faintly.
After all, Violet still had plenty of time left before her Invisible mode expired.
