Chapter 22: Revenge Again

Naturally, Bella didn’t stay for long.

She soon entered a cell and began fighting.

Meanwhile, Enzo enjoyed his breakfast until he was completely full.

Afterward, he leaned back, lit a cigarette, and leisurely sipped his coffee.

The newcomers seemed especially motivated today.

After George and Bella, even more of them arrived at the Monster Prison.

Seeing that, Enzo immediately took control of Violet, whose stamina had already fully recovered.

Violet appeared wearing her new outfit beneath the long coat, making her even more eye-catching.

As soon as she arrived in front of the prison building, she found John Martin waiting there with several company employees.

The moment they spotted her, they hurried over.

"Miss Muller, I knew you’d start early today, so I came early as well," John said with a smile.

"Even if you were late, I would’ve started anyway," Violet replied.

John chuckled awkwardly.

"Then... here."

He first handed Violet the newest iPhone model.

She accepted it with a small nod.

"And this..."

John presented a large box decorated with the image of a palm-sized flying insect.

When he opened it, three insect-shaped drones were neatly arranged inside.

"Fly."

As soon as he gave the command, the three drones rose into the air simultaneously and hovered before him.

"Miss Muller, put this on."

John handed her a slim bracelet with a tiny blinking red light.

The moment Violet accepted it, the drones immediately flew toward her and began following her.

To receive the photos and videos recorded by the drones, all she had to do was scan the QR code engraved on the bracelet.

"If managing your social media accounts becomes troublesome, our staff can handle everything for you," John offered.

"I’ll manage them myself."

Enzo’s editing skills were decent enough.

It was much better to do everything personally than communicate with strangers.

John nodded.

"If you ever need anything, just contact us. Oh, right—we’ve also prepared a Storage Artifact for you. It contains plenty of outfits from our company that you can wear in your daily life."

He handed Violet a ring.

She accepted it just as calmly as everything else.

Naturally, everyone’s eyes were fixed on her.

They all understood that this was corporate sponsorship—a privilege reserved only for the truly exceptional.

Even A-Class Talents could receive sponsorships, but they usually came with various obligations that required repaying the company’s support.

It was enough to make anyone jealous.

Still, there was nothing they could do about it.

"Is there anything else?" Violet asked.

"No." John shook his head.

"Then I’ll be going."

Violet walked into the Monster Prison while the three insect drones floated around her, recording her from every angle.

She never spared them a single glance.

Her gaze remained fixed straight ahead.

John watched her disappear into the building while thoughtfully rubbing his chin.

...

The first person Violet saw after entering the prison was George, who had just finished another battle and stepped out of his cell.

The instant their eyes met, George instinctively stepped backward and quietly closed the cell door again.

His expression immediately became awkward.

He had actually shut himself back inside simply because her gaze frightened him.

Violet didn’t stop walking.

She only halted when she arrived directly in front of his cell.

"What are you afraid of?" she asked with a cold smirk.

The other newcomers looked at one another in confusion.

After asking around, they finally learned that something had happened between the two the previous night.

Apparently, George’s shouting had disturbed Violet, and one of his followers had ended up getting beaten because of it.

"What do you want?" George asked.

His pride wouldn’t allow him to keep acting frightened.

"I’ve always wanted to beat up a dragon."

She paused briefly before adding,

"A fake human dragon will do just fine."

There was no way Enzo intended to let George off so easily after insulting him again that very morning.

Besides, he still hadn’t forgotten what George had said the previous night.

Nicolas alone wasn’t enough to settle that score.

"You..." George’s face turned pale.

"You think hiding in there will help?"

Violet pushed the cell door open.

Since George had already entered earlier, the door hadn’t been locked.

"You think I’m afraid of you?"

Consumed by anger, George swung his fist, now covered in crimson dragon scales, straight at Violet.

He refused to believe he was completely powerless against her.

Violet merely sneered.

Every movement of his had already been predicted.

She simply tilted her head slightly to the side, allowing his punch to miss by mere centimeters.

Then—

She drove a kick into his abdomen without holding back, empowered by Enzo’s transferred Attributes and her activated Super Assassin Talent.

BANG!

George spat out a mouthful of blood as his body shot backward, crashing violently into the rear wall of the cell.

When he hit the ground, he could no longer stand.

Violet smiled in satisfaction, though no one noticed.

She simply continued walking as though nothing had happened.

Everyone else instinctively stepped aside, afraid of blocking her path.

"She’s unbelievably ruthless... George’s level is higher, and she still activated her Talent," someone whispered.

"Yeah... Even if he’s just a Fake Awakener, he’s still Rebecca Morgan’s nephew. Isn’t she afraid Rebecca will take revenge?"

"What do you know? I heard George has been beaten up by his own aunt before because he couldn’t accept his failed Awakening."
