The mother’s freed limb struck the opened mountain face, pulling another section of its body from the core chamber.

Dark tissue covered the lower summit where Vella’s purple circuit had wrapped around blue Gate mana. Divine Eye separated both pulses, finding the creature’s core buried beneath the natural Gate core rather than inside it.

"The upper light belongs to the Gate," Aria said, marking the lower pulse in red, "the mother is using it as armor around her own core."

Hajin tightened his right hand around the damaged Chain, then started down through the redirected collapse.

Three Rings remained around his wrist, though their rotation had slowed after Eclipse Lash spent its peak. Behind him, Aegis covered the gallery while Juna, Loccy, Hans, and Cassie stayed within sight.

Cassie kept her badge raised beside the Stream’s open view, recording Hajin’s path toward the exposed chamber.

The mother tore a second limb from the wall, bringing purple roots plus broken mountain plates down with it. Hajin crossed beneath the first sweep, using the Chain to pull himself through a gap between both strikes.

Its third limb opened across the chamber floor before he landed, trying to cover the lower core beneath new tissue.

Divine Sever entered the first root near his feet, cutting the corruption without touching the blue mana inside it.

The severed section folded across his path as the mother pulled more of its body free.

It had spent years fused through the mountain, leaving every movement tied to the same chamber walls it used for protection.

Hajin sent the Chain around two exposed roots, then crossed both lengths beneath the lower red marker.

The mother pushed another pulse through them, giving him the exact connection Divine Eye had already isolated.

He drove Divine Sever through the crossed Chain, splitting the mother’s attachment from the natural core above it.

Blue mana rose into the separated summit while the dark body lost every path holding it against the chamber.

The mother dropped from the wall, bringing its exposed red core toward Hajin as both lower limbs struck around him.

Aegis caught one limb against the collapse, leaving the other to pass above his lowered shoulder.

Hans, Cassie, Juna, and Loccy remained together inside the curved barrier as the gallery vanished behind them.

Opaque purple replaced the mountain for one instant, then daylight returned above the exterior ravine.

Hajin struck the road beside Cassie’s earth banks while Aegis deposited the others several paces behind him.

Jonas plus Toby stood outside with the remaining defenders, both watching the Gate surface contract behind the ejected group.

A purple lash passed through the cellar ceiling, then crossed the office floor toward Lana’s marked wrist.

Ash remained beside her without blink-stepping, turning his right wrist as the same broken shimmer formed around it.

The pale curve reached forty-one percent again, then appeared between Lana and the rising lash for less than one second.

He checked Hajin once, then stopped at the empty Gate site without asking where the portal had gone.

"I need separate accounts before anyone discusses them together," Marrick said, dividing the pages, "Cassie writes as the registered adventurer, while Hans records command observation."

Juna and Loccy took the other two pages, leaving Hajin outside the witness set while he read the quarantine log.

Each statement placed all four inside the protected gallery, in direct view of the mountain strike plus mother’s death.

Jonas plus Toby signed with the exterior defenders on a separate roll covering only the blast, ejection, and disappearance.

Marrick sent two runners across the former threshold, then recorded bare ravine ground where every Gate instrument still found nothing.

He sealed the four interior accounts beside the outside roll plus empty-Gate report, handing the packet to a mounted courier.

"Guild office first," Marrick said, checking the seal beneath the rider’s hand, "bring back every receipt they give you."

The courier took the western road while Dreth’s observers disappeared beyond the southern rise.
