Chapter 225: I DON’T IT’S JUST MY HEAT ANYMORE
Guiying swallowed before finally managing to speak.
"...I don’t know."
His voice sounded unusually weak.
"It started before I went into the bathroom."
He paused briefly, waiting for another wave of dizziness to settle before continuing.
"I thought it had gone away."
"But it came back."
His breathing gradually became uneven again.
"It kept getting worse."
Liuxian quietly slipped an arm around Guiying’s waist before supporting him against his shoulder. He didn’t interrupt once, allowing Guiying to finish speaking at his own pace while carefully watching every subtle change in his expression.
"Can you stand?"
Guiying gave a small nod.

"I think so."
Liuxian slowly helped him to his feet.
The moment both feet touched the floor, Guiying instinctively reached for Liuxian’s arm. His fingers tightened around the sleeve almost immediately, while the color slowly drained from his face before he had even taken a single step.
Liuxian immediately stopped.
"You don’t have to force yourself."
Guiying closed his eyes.
"I’m trying..."
His voice trailed off into a quiet sigh.
"The room keeps spinning."
Liuxian didn’t hesitate any longer.
He guided Guiying back onto the bed before walking into the connected walk-in closet to retrieve the clothes Guiying had been trying to put on. The shirt was still lying neatly where it had slipped from Guiying’s hand, making it painfully obvious just how suddenly everything had become too much.
Returning to the bedside, Liuxian crouched in front of him once again.
"Lift your arm."
Guiying obediently did as he was told.
Neither of them spoke while Liuxian patiently helped him into his shirt before fastening each button one after another. Every few seconds, his eyes quietly lifted toward Guiying’s face, checking whether the dizziness had eased even a little.
It hadn’t.
Once the last button was fastened, Liuxian quietly slipped one arm beneath Guiying’s knees before wrapping the other around his back.
Before Guiying could protest...
He was already being lifted into familiar arms.
"I can still walk."
The protest sounded noticeably weaker than usual.
Liuxian adjusted his hold before looking down at him.
"I know."
His voice remained gentle.
"But today I’m carrying you."
Guiying looked at him quietly before the corners of his lips lifted into a small, helpless smile.
He knew arguing was pointless.

Instead, he relaxed against Liuxian’s shoulder and allowed himself to be carried downstairs without another word.
The aroma of breakfast had already filled the dining room.
Uncle Li looked up from arranging the last few dishes onto the table, the welcoming smile on his face fading the instant he saw Liuxian carrying Guiying downstairs instead of the two of them walking together.
"What happened?"
Liuxian carefully lowered Guiying into his chair before pulling it closer to the table.
"He became dizzy."
"It started before his shower."
"I thought it would improve after he rested, but it only became worse."
Uncle Li quietly studied Guiying for several moments.
His gaze slowly travelled from Guiying’s slightly pale complexion to the untouched breakfast sitting on the table before a thoughtful expression gradually appeared on his face.
He folded the kitchen towel neatly over his forearm.
Then looked toward Liuxian.
"Young Master..."
"There is something I should probably mention."
The dining room suddenly became unusually quiet.
Liuxian immediately looked toward Uncle Li, the concern that had settled on his face since the middle of the night refusing to fade. Even now, his hand remained gently wrapped around Guiying’s, almost as though letting go would somehow make things worse.
"What do you mean?"
Uncle Li didn’t answer immediately.
Instead, he walked over with a bowl of warm porridge before carefully placing it in front of Guiying. He folded the kitchen towel over his forearm before looking at the two of them, a thoughtful smile slowly appearing on his weathered face.
"I’ve worked for the Liu family for many years."
His eyes softened as he spoke, as though countless old memories were quietly replaying inside his mind.
"I’ve watched several Alpha and Omega couples start their families. After seeing the same things happen often enough, you naturally begin recognizing certain patterns."
Liuxian listened quietly without interrupting.
His fingers unconsciously tightened around Guiying’s hand as he waited for Uncle Li to continue, his expression remaining calm despite the questions rapidly forming inside his mind.
"I’m not saying Young Master Guiying is pregnant."
Uncle Li smiled reassuringly before gently shaking his head.
"I’m only saying that unusual fatigue, dizziness, changes in pheromones and even a low fever can sometimes appear during the early stages. They aren’t uncommon, although every Omega experiences them differently."
The dining room gradually fell silent.
Guiying lowered his eyes toward the bowl of porridge resting in front of him, absentmindedly tracing the rim with his fingertips while Uncle Li’s words quietly echoed inside his mind. The possibility had never crossed his thoughts, not even once.
Since waking up that morning, he had convinced himself he was either becoming ill or that his approaching heat had simply become more troublesome than usual. Pregnancy had never entered the list of possibilities.

Liuxian slowly turned toward him.
Neither of them spoke.
Their eyes quietly met across the table, and although countless questions lingered between them, neither of them rushed to give voice to thoughts they didn’t yet have answers for.
Uncle Li gently broke the silence.
"I could also be completely mistaken."
His smile became a little more apologetic as he gestured toward the breakfast spread across the table.
"That is why you’re going to see Dr. Gu. A doctor will always know far more than an old man relying on experience."
Liuxian nodded slowly.
"You’re right."
He lowered his gaze toward Guiying before gently brushing his thumb across the back of his hand.
"There’s no point making guesses."
"We’ll know the answer soon enough."
Guiying quietly returned the squeeze before offering him a small smile.
"I’ve gone through several heats already."
His brows slowly drew together as he searched through countless memories, trying to find even one that resembled what he was experiencing now.
"But none of them ever felt like this."
Liuxian continued looking at him for another moment before speaking again.
"Whatever the answer is..."
His voice softened almost instinctively.
"You won’t face it by yourself."
Guiying’s smile gradually became warmer.
"Thank you."
The quiet reassurance settled between them as naturally as the morning sunlight pouring through the dining room windows. For a brief moment, the uneasiness lingering since the previous night seemed to ease ever so slightly.
Guiying eventually reached for the spoon resting beside the bowl.
He slowly scooped up a mouthful of porridge before bringing it toward his lips, but halfway through the movement, his hand suddenly stopped. The spoon trembled faintly between his fingers as the familiar dizziness quietly returned without warning.
His vision blurred.
The dining room slowly tilted before his eyes.
Guiying instinctively reached for the edge of the table with his free hand, gripping it tightly while trying to steady his breathing. The spoon quietly slipped from his fingers before falling back into the bowl with a soft clink that immediately shattered the peaceful silence.

Liuxian was already beside him.
He gently supported Guiying’s shoulders before kneeling beside the chair, his eyes anxiously searching Guiying’s face as the color gradually drained from it.
"Guiying."
Liuxian’s voice remained calm, though the worry inside it had become impossible to hide.
"Look at me."
Guiying slowly lifted his head.
His breathing had become noticeably heavier than before, and even focusing on Liuxian’s face suddenly felt strangely difficult.
He forced himself to speak.
"...Liuxian..."
His fingers slowly tightened around the edge of the table.
"I don’t think..."
"...this is just my heat anymore."
