Chapter 2006: Chapter 482: Mutual Torment, Neither Will Rest Until Death
Seeing the wretched state of someone you dislike can indeed improve your mood considerably. Yun Ya knew she was never a good person. Looking at Gan Wei’er now, she felt no sympathy, only a sense of relief.
She stepped forward step by step, looking down from a high vantage point, shaking her head with an exhale, eyes clear and filled with deep compassion.
"Little sister Weiwei, what happened to you?"
Gan Wei’er dumbly lifted her eyes. The girl stood there, graceful, gentle, and elegant, akin to a beautiful painting.
Gan Wei’er saw the compassion in her eyes... Her pupils shrank abruptly, and she let out a scream: "Get out... Get out of my sight."
Tortured by pain and in a daze, she no longer cared if the person in front of her was a princess or not. All she knew was that this woman was the one she hated most. Being seen like this by the person she detested the most made her want to dig a hole and crawl into it immediately.
Yun Ya crouched in front of her, covering her nose and mouth, shaking her head in disappointment: "Such a pretty little face once, what a pity now...."
Gan Wei’er glared at her with hatred, looking at her flawless skin, then looking back at herself... Gan Wei’er’s nails dug deep into her palms, long past feeling any pain.
Yun Ya turned around, walked over to the sofa, and sat down, smiling as she said: "I forgot to tell you, Doctor Zhang is my master."
Gan Wei’er looked up in shock, What? Doctor Zhang is actually her master?
"You needn’t have suffered like this, but my master is old and often forgetful. This isn’t any Rejuvenating Jade Ointment; it’s a poison that perforates the intestines. Who would’ve thought my master gave you poison and got the name wrong. Such a beautiful face destroyed, what a shame...."
Listening to her words, Gan Wei’er’s face twisted inch by inch, the accompanying blood blisters on her face made her appear terrifying and ghastly, even more frightful than a vengeful spirit. Her eyes were blood-red, glinting with fury. If looks could kill, Yun Ya would have been torn to shreds already.
"I’ll kill you... I’ll kill you." A hoarse scream erupted from her throat as she struggled to pounce at Yun Ya, desperate to tear her to pieces.
Yun Ya sat calmly, watching as Gan Wei’er lunged at her feet, grotesque hands clutching her skirt hem. Yun Ya smiled and pushed her away with her foot, gently smoothing her skirt.
"It was you, you made me like this, you bitch, I’ll kill you...." Gan Wei’er screamed.
She realized it now; Doctor Zhang was the princess’s master, so he must have deliberately done this to her for this woman, turning her into this horrid state. Her heart was filled with piercing hatred, and she wished to consume her flesh and blood.
"If I were you, I’d save my energy and think about how to keep myself alive, and save that face."
Hearing Yun Ya’s words, Gan Wei’er froze, calming down suddenly. She glanced at Yun Ya, realizing she had been wrong from the start; this princess was not some meek Xiao Bai.
"Thud." Gan Wei’er knelt on the ground. No matter how unwilling, to save her life, she had to place her dignity at this woman’s feet.
"I was wrong, please, Princess, give me a way to live."
Yun Ya looked at Gan Wei’er kneeling at her feet with a cheerful smile, "Wrong about what?"
Nails digging into her palms, leaving bloody marks, Gan Wei’er spat out each word through clenched teeth: "For coveting Young Master Lorde... for going against the princess behind her back."
"You did nothing wrong."
Gan Wei’er looked up in a daze, the girl smiling serenely: "Young Master Lorde is handsome and outstanding. Should every woman who likes him be condemned?"
Gan Wei’er couldn’t understand what she was playing at; her mind was in total disarray.
"Alright, stand up." Her voice was so gentle.
Gan Wei’er’s heart trembled; the gentler she was, the more nervous she became.
Kneeling there, she dared not move.
"I told you to stand up." The tone was firmer, yet still very calm.
Gan Wei’er quickly stood up, standing there meekly.
Yun Ya narrowed her eyes, giving her a glance. Under such a calm and deep gaze, Gan Wei’er instinctively shrunk her shoulders.
Before the ordeal, Gan Wei’er had a plump figure, but now she had become much thinner, her dress hanging loosely, appearing ghost-like.
Yun Ya placed two exquisite porcelain bottles on the table, one white, one cyan.
Gan Wei’er looked at her in confusion.
"One of these bottles is the Snow Dissolving Powder, which can cure wolf bane poison."
Gan Wei’er’s heart stirred, instinctively touching her face, wincing in pain.
But she knew the other side wouldn’t be so kind.
Sure enough —
"The other bottle is called Seven Spirits Broken Intestine Powder. If a person takes it and doesn’t receive the antidote within seven days, they’ll bleed from all orifices, intestines perforated, and die horribly."
