Chapter 678: Doudou Goes to School

When they got home after making a statement, it was almost evening. Naturally, Professor Song and Professor Jian dragged and queried them about what happened.

After learning about the incident, Professor Song and Professor Jian first lectured Xu Mumu, then started to scold Yun Luo.

In the evening, Yin Yang received a phone call, and his face didn’t look very good.

"What’s wrong? Why so unhappy?" Seeing Yin Yang looking upset, Xu Mumu asked curiously.

"It’s about Yun Luo. The police said she has some mental issues and probably won’t be convicted." Yin Yang squinted his eyes dangerously.

"If she’s mentally ill, then she should go to the mental hospital. It’s not a nice place." Xu Mumu raised her eyebrows slightly, surprised that it was about this. She also thought Yun Luo seemed a bit unstable before.

Regardless of whether she is mentally ill or not, once she’s sent to the mental hospital, she’ll definitely become mentally ill.

"You’re right, darling." Yin Yang smiled as well.

Yin Yang had someone greet them and directly left Yun Luo in Shengjiang’s mental hospital. He even specially arranged doctors and nurses to take care of her, ensuring she leads a joyful life for the rest of her days.

Yin Yang didn’t mention this to Xu Mumu, not wanting it to affect her.

The days of pregnancy pass quickly. Xu Mumu was lazily waking up when she received a call from Yu Xinyao; she had given birth to a son.

Listening to the disappointment in Yu Xinyao’s voice, Xu Mumu almost laughed out loud.

"Having a son is great too. Look at our Doudou." Xu Mumu said with a smile.

"What’s good about it? I wanted a little cotton-padded jacket." Yu Xinyao said, feeling aggrieved. After delivering, she felt much lighter.

The only thing that slightly bothered her was that she had a son; she wanted a delicate little daughter.

"No worries, if I have a daughter, I’ll let you be her godmother." Xu Mumu said with a grin.

"I don’t want to be a godmother, I want to be her mother-in-law. You both are good-looking, so your daughter will definitely be prettier." Yu Xinyao said happily, suddenly feeling that having a son is not bad.

"What wishful thinking!" Xu Mumu rolled her eyes silently, not wanting to talk to her. Seriously, she hasn’t even had a child, and she’s already thinking about her daughter. She now understands Yin Yang’s previous frustration.

After getting pregnant, Xu Mumu’s appetite increased, and her belly grew day by day. Yin Yang would come back early every day to chat and walk around with her for some exercise.

As her belly grew each day, Yin Yang restricted her from going far.

"Mommy and daddy, I want to go to kindergarten. Uncle said it’s fun there." The little one looked at her parents expectantly.

"You’re still young, why rush?" Xu Mumu looked at her son doubtfully.

"You already know everything in kindergarten; if you learn, you’ll find it’s not that fun." Yin Yang said seriously.

"But I’m already a big kid." The little one said earnestly, still longing for school life.

"Alright, I’ll enroll you in a few days. If you go to school, you can’t quit halfway; you must stay there." Yin Yang looked at the little one seriously.

"Got it, dad." The little one nodded excitedly. Dad agreed, isn’t that great?

Xu Mumu no longer persuaded him; he’ll find out after experiencing school.

A few days later, Yin Yang completed the enrollment procedures for the little one.

Xu Mumu also prepared to go with Yin Yang to send him to school, but was rejected by Yin Yang. Xu Mumu’s belly is now quite big; he didn’t dare let her wander around.

Plus, with the kindergarten opening, there would be many people. What if she got jostled and fell?

Left at home, Xu Mumu felt a bit depressed, but ultimately compromised to stay home and rest.

Now with her son at school, Xu Mumu felt a bit bored without her little joy-bringer.

Casually browsing her phone, its basic functions were intact, though the games were simple; playing them occasionally passed time well.

While Xu Mumu played small games here, Yin Yang sent the child to his classroom, watching him obediently sit where the teacher arranged.

The little one looked good and was young, so the teacher put him right in the front row.

Standing outside the classroom, Yin Yang worried about whether his son could adapt to school life and feared he might be bullied by older kids.

Yin Yang kept his eyes on his son, feeling all sorts of unease.

Yet, shortly after the little one sat down, a little girl came over to chat.

"I’m Guoguo, what’s your name? I brought you some chocolate to share." The girl placed half a chocolate before Doudou, thinking this handsome little friend could be her buddy.

"I’m Yin Si, I don’t like chocolate. Eat it yourself." The little one frowned slightly. He disliked chocolate’s sweetness mixed with bitterness, preferring the cookies and treats made by Madam Chun.

"Chocolate is delicious, my uncle brought it from abroad; nobody else has it. Why don’t you like it?" The girl looked puzzled at the boy slightly shorter than her.

"It’s not tasty, and I need to read; don’t talk to me." The little one opened his book, filled with content taught by Professor Song and Professor Jian, which he could review at school.

"What are you reading? Can I join?" The girl asked curiously, thinking the book Doudou was reading might be comics.

But when Doudou opened the book, it was filled with densely packed words and various formulas, utterly incomprehensible.

Yin Yang outside watched his son’s moves, almost laughing out loud.

He stayed outside for two whole classes before leaving, seeing his son adapt well without classmates causing trouble, feeling relieved.

Returning home, his little wife was enthusiastically playing a matching game.

"How long have you been playing? Don’t you know watching the phone for long is harmful to your eyes? Plus, the phone emits radiation." Yin Yang said, his head aching. He regretted giving this phone to her; it’s the latest model with more features.

With a phone, his wife turned into an internet addict, making him very troubled.

"Not long, just a bit." Xu Mumu quietly moved the phone away, realizing the battery was nearly drained.
