Chapter 58: [Bonus 5] Just When I Thought Things Couldn’t Get Stranger, We Found the Founder’s Reincarnation... Is He Already Dead Again?!
Walking back towards my dorm, my gaze scanned across the many status windows which had appeared before me.

Surprisingly, Seles only had a single Talent. In my last life, I always thought she had other talents and merely kept them hidden from me but it seems I was entirely wrong.
But what truly surprised me even more was that she had a role, something that even many of the strongest people in the world didn’t have, meaning in the grand scheme of things, she was an important pawn of Fate.
Still, I put that thought to the back of my mind and instead focused back on her talent because it was what I had come for.
My biggest problem right now was the unpredictability of [[Eye of Usurper]]. On paper, it sounded absurdly powerful but only a complete fool would trust an ability like that without question.
After all, it literally engraved another person’s essence into my own soul and if there were hidden side effects or worse, some unforeseen backlash, I needed a way to resist them.
That was exactly where Seles’s Talent came in. More importantly, its usefulness didn’t end just there and it also possessed remarkable synergy with my Celestial Singularity Art.
Without wasting another moment, I willed the status window to continue as immediately, the conditions required to engrave her True Name appeared before my eyes.
[True Name: ????]
[Conditions to Reveal]
[Every coin has two sides and perhaps what you believe to be the truth is only one face of it. Despite being her husband once, your understanding of her true self remains incomplete. Make her genuinely rely on you, even once, something she never did throughout your entire previous life, and her True Name shall be revealed.]
[Note: Try not to let prejudice cloud your mind.]
"What the hell is this condition?"
The words escaped my lips almost unconsciously as a few students passing by glanced at me as if I were some lunatic talking to himself but I ignored them because at this moment I was genuinely confused.
I had imagined hundreds of possible conditions for engraving Seles’s True Name but this wasn’t one of them.
The Seles I knew was manipulative, cunning, calculating and, in her own twisted way, oddly caring.
Even after turning me into the Demon King, she had smiled warmly and told me to take care of myself, so I could suffer for as long as possible. Naturally, I had returned that kindness with all the warmth I could muster and told her that one day, I would come back to kill her.
But none of that mattered right now, what mattered was the kind of woman she truly was.
Throughout that entire lifetime, she never once relied on me, let alone genuinely asked for help and now, the condition to engrave her True Name demanded that I witness a side of her I had never once seen and to create a moment where she would genuinely rely on me.
Like hell that was possible...
But then again, this was still the Seles who had yet to lose the last remnants of her humanity. So perhaps, it wasn’t entirely impossible. Either way, now that I had already placed the Mark of the Usurper, I had no intention of giving up without even trying.
With that thought, I continued walking and I barely walked a few more steps before a familiar voice echoed inside my head.
A voice I hadn’t expected to hear again so soon.
"O great sir, forgive me for disturbing your peaceful stroll... but I believe I can sense the reincarnation of this great personality somewhere nearby."
I stopped in my tracks and without hesitation, I took out the soulstone carrying the soul of the Founder.
"Where exactly do you sense it from?"
The very next moment, the Founder’s translucent figure burst out of it, immediately peeking around in every direction with exaggerated caution.
His expression shifted rapidly between excitement and intense concentration before he suddenly pointed toward the academy’s commercial district.
Honestly, I had never expected this guy’s reincarnation to be inside the academy of all places.
He didn’t even know when he had reincarnated and for all we knew, his new body could have been centuries older or younger than us or it might not even have been somewhere within the First Ring of the Great Sea.
I had always assumed finding him would take years but fate had decided otherwise. For a brief moment, I almost questioned whether my luck had suddenly become this good.
Without wasting another second, I followed the direction Rian kept pointing. After weaving through several streets and taking a handful of turns, we arrived at the academy’s bustling commercial district.
Rows of restaurants, workshops and countless street vendors stretched as far as the eye could see, filling the air with noise and the aroma of freshly cooked food.
"Where to now?"
Still in his translucent form, Rian slowly raised a finger and pointed toward a narrow alley hidden between two towering buildings.
"I can feel this great personality’s presence coming from over there, oh great sir."
I didn’t waste a single second but the moment I stepped into the alley, my eyes widened because standing there was a cold-faced man with jet-black hair, grey eyes and eerily feminine face, calmly sliding his katana back into its sheath.
At his feet lay an ordinary-looking man, his clothes soaking in blood while his body trembling with terror flashing across his face.
The entire alley was eerily silent.
Looking at the scene before me, only one question echoed through my mind.
Did I... arrive too late?
