Chapter 1915: Chapter 33: Mother of the White Tide’s Revenge (Part 2)
The Chris Empire’s leadership had no idea what kind of entity they were facing. They believed it was merely an overwhelming technological force from an advanced civilization, rendering them utterly defeated without ever seeing their opponent’s face.
If someone from the Star Alliance were present, they would immediately recognize that these creatures covered in white fur were the same White Devils that posed a significant threat to Water Blue Star forty years ago.
The first appearance of the White Devils was in Australia, and they nearly destroyed Water Blue Star completely. If it hadn’t been for Ni Yang’s intervention, Water Blue Star might have already ceased to exist.
Everyone knew that the White Devils were nothing more than creations, akin to the mutants created by the Emperor using the Crimson Light. The White Devils were made by the Mother of the White Tide—Alfarld.
Now, the appearance of many White Devils within the Chris Empire implies one thing: that the Mother of the White Tide, Alfarld, has arrived.
Therefore, these people were actually not combating the advanced technological civilization they imagined; instead, they were facing a godlike being at the Transcendent level.
In a certain sense, their understanding was not entirely incorrect.
In the Second Universe, especially within the Dark Spirit Star Domain, dark spiritual power is also considered a form of technology, known as Dark Spirit Technology. It is currently known as a supreme form of technology beyond all physical forms.
Alfarld is a life entity at the Transcendent level from the Second Universe, bearing many titles, including the Mother of the White Tide, Source of Black Mist, the Destined End of All Life, True God, and the Assimilator...
Its reputation is terrifying, turning all beings it encounters into part of the White Tide. The black mist spreads across the universe like a vast nebula, as deadly as a black hole.
Alfarld possesses an ability to assimilate nearby lifeforms into white monsters. It doesn’t even need to act personally—just its presence alone is enough to annihilate the fleets of the Chris Empire.
The power of the White Tide also grows stronger as its size increases. In the later stages of the war, wherever the white army passed, endless black mist spread, rendering all basic physical technology equipment useless, while those monsters could freely teleport within the mist, making them unstoppable.
In the last few days of the war, the Chris Empire finally saw the face of their true enemy for the first time. This was because Alfarld revealed itself, merely to watch its prey’s final struggle.
This was the Chris Empire’s only chance to retaliate against Alfarld.
They activated their annihilation weapon at maximum power, harnessing energy equivalent to dozens of constant star bursts, delivering a super-spatial strike at Alfarld. The leadership of the Chris Empire believed no creature could survive such an attack, not even a high-level cosmic civilization.
However, they were wrong; reality showed them what foolishness and ignorance truly meant.
The shot, carrying the hopes of all the Chris people, passed right through Alfarld’s body, as though it pierced a mere intangible shadow, causing no harm whatsoever.
This is the complete spiritualization mode of a being at the Transcendent level. In this mode, they are immune to all physical attacks, so unless one taps into the level of dark spiritual power, it doesn’t matter how the Chris Empire evolves or convolutes their attacks over millions of years—it would never affect it.
In fact, complete spiritualization isn’t necessary; even ordinary half-spiritification by a Dark Spirit can withstand such level of attacks.
Half-spiritification doesn’t mean being half flesh and half spiritual power form. Instead, it’s a sub-energy body state between the physical body and a spiritual body. To put it plainly, individuals in this form are somewhat like larvae of the Blood Butterflies, Parasitic Spirits. While they are affected to some extent by physical attacks, it’s only an impact—simple physical attacks can stall them but can never truly harm them.
This is the fundamental reason why Dark Spirit Technology can overpower basic material technology. I can hit you and cause real damage to all of you, yet you cannot hit me and can only get beaten passively, rendering combat futile.
The people of the Chris Empire were annihilated in this despair. Now, even the army led by King Dorke was defeated, leaving only a logistic team made up entirely of the old, weak, sick, and disabled.
Kola knew the Chris people were finished. Now, they were completely surrounded, with the endless black mist descending upon them, and the last mother planet of Chris was about to fall.
In the depths of the universe, a pair of crimson eyes were fixed on the blue planet. Everything here reminded it of something that happened in this universe more than forty years ago.
"Despicable Spiritual Wisdom Clan, I will kill every single one of you, use your flesh for my purposes, let your souls wail in the eternal prison of pain, become my sacrifices, and for me to devour!"
Underneath the crimson eyes was a gigantic figure covered in white fur.
It resembled a goat, with fur like a yak, massive in size like a planet, currently lurking in the black mist, silently observing everything.
