The wheel finally stopped on one of the eight sectors, but before Selene or Leon could try to read what was on that sector, a flash of light appeared before Selene and a golden dagger sheath appeared in her hand.

Leon’s lips twitched.

[Congratulations! You have received an Unranked Dagger Sheath!]

Selene froze, staring blankly at the sheath as if she was waiting for it to suddenly transform into something better.

Yet, the sheath remained the same, its golden glow prickling her eyes and causing her a great deal of annoyance.

Still, she decided not to be like that idiotic guy behind her and check its description first. However, to her dismay, the sheath was actually normal without any hidden enchantments.

Its only purpose was to hold a dagger.

Selene’s expression darkened, and the coldness of her eyes increased. Her Tier One Soul Crystal was gone... replaced by a useless piece of junk that held no use to her.

Had she been impatient? Should she have waited a few more days before coming to try it? Or was it Leon who had tampered with the machine?

She had many questions, none of which she could answer.. Though, looking at the machine again, she didn’t believe Leon had the capability of manipulating the results.

Sighing in her heart, she turned around and tossed the sheath to Leon for him to see.

He easily caught it and checked, his lips twitching. To think her luck was even worse than his own.

Standing a few steps away from her, Leon was tempted to pat her shoulder like a comrade. After all, he was in her position yesterday too.

He tossed the sheath back to her without a word, along with a soul crystal. She arched her brows in surprise, glancing at him for an explanation.

Leon replied smoothly, "I know you probably don’t have any other soul crystal on you, so I’m giving you this to give it another try."

Selene blinked, then smiled. Leon was stunned when he saw her smile. However, it wasn’t just because the smile greatly enhanced her beauty.

Instead, it was because he sensed that she had a crazy scheme hidden behind that smile. As expected of his instincts, her next words almost made him puke blood.

"Since you’re offering me this crystal without a price, then I assume it’s not going to be counted from my remaining two draws?"

This young lady was really cunning! She wanted to take his soul crystal for free, and even have a free lucky draw? Wasn’t that too much?

Leon wanted to kick her in the face and snatch his property back from her. However, he knew that would be childish, so he sighed.

Leon responded with an equally cunning smile, "You could say that. I’m a generous person, after all."

Selene stiffened when she heard his last statement, and her eyes flashed with suspicion. She was almost tempted to give him back his crystal to erase the uneasy feeling in her heart.

However, looking at his smile that seemed sincere, she bit her lip and turned away. Whatever scheme he was planning didn’t matter, as she didn’t believe she wouldn’t be able to confront him.

Perhaps not in combat, but in something else...

While she was lost in thoughts, Thyra appeared beside Leon and chuckled.

"You’re a really devious one, aren’t you? Making her overthink something so simple as kindness."

Leon shrugged and rolled his eyes as if to say, ’She started it.’

When he played along, he didn’t do it because he had anything to benefit from her. Instead, it was just a decision made on a whim.

’Actually, knowing Selene, she’ll probably be convinced that she owes me a favor and will want to pay me back. That’s not a bad thing.’

His attention snapped back to the wheel when he noticed it had started moving again.

After about twenty seconds, it finally stopped.

With a flash, a silver longsword appeared in Selene’s hand, and she immediately checked the stats.

Selene was deeply pleased with this result, as she unsheathed the blade to take a look. It gave off a similar aura to Leon’s black greatsword, though it was different.

"Oh? Looks like you got something good this time."

Leon’s voice came from behind her, which caused her to pause and turn to him.

"Mn," She nodded and kept the sword to herself. Although he had been the one to sponsor the draw, she wasn’t willing to show him the sword’s stats.

Still, she felt a bit of gratitude and just as Leon thought, she already had it in mind to pay him back. After all, she didn’t like owing people favors.

Pausing, she glanced back at the wheel, then asked, "Do you think there could be other kinds of wheels?"

Leon blinked and seriously considered it. "There is a possibility that they exist. After all, Richard said the shooting stars were many."

Selene nodded, her eyes sharp and focused. "Judging from the name of this particular wheel, I believe there are higher-ranked wheels, and perhaps those that give out things other than equipment."

Her words made Leon raise an eyebrow as she was quite right with her speculation. Yesterday, Thyra already informed him that there were different kinds of Star Wheels, and it was not limited to an Equipment Wheel alone.

Still, he neither confirmed nor denied her theory.

"Perhaps. We’ll just have to keep an eye out for others."

Selene’s eyes narrowed as she felt that he was hiding information again. However, since he didn’t want to mention it, she wouldn’t force him.

"Let’s go back."

Leon said and turned around. Suddenly, he paused, sensing movement from the upper floors of the building next to them. Before any of them could react properly, a magic circle shone on the ground and a fierce white bear emerged from it, charging at the two humans with its fangs bared.
