Chapter 256: Chapter 200: Black Orc God: You Bastard! You’re Here Again?

After a moment of silence, the three of them left the Dimension World with Isaac.

Although Caesar had ultimately lost to Isaac, Isaac was actually quite satisfied with the power Caesar had displayed.

It might sound like a reversal of their roles, but it was the truth.

For now, at least, Isaac had no intention of interfering with Caesar’s ambitions. Possessing the [Eight Virtues] meant Caesar was now qualified to take part in the future turmoil in Terra.

Of course, this was all contingent on one condition: that no new Demigods appeared in the Terra Empire, and that any hidden Demigods also kicked the bucket or were otherwise unable to intervene.

That’s right. Although on the surface the Terra Empire only had one Demigod—the Emperor—Isaac was certain there was at least one more hidden in the shadows. After all, in the long history of the Terra Empire, there had only been a few periods when the Emperor was a Demigod.

Without a Demigod, it would be impossible to control such a vast territory.

So, from a worst-case-scenario perspective, Caesar’s plan still required careful, long-term consideration. This was why Isaac could actually understand his father and older brother’s choices; they truly lacked the power to take revenge.

But understanding was one thing; it didn’t mean Isaac would do the same!

He certainly couldn’t deal with a Demigod and the Empire right now, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t take on Norns!

He just needed a bit more time to grow. Once he broke through to High-level Mage, he could officially begin dealing with Prince Norns!

And of course, he had no intention of sparing the Mad Witch who had directly attacked his mother!

However, Isaac didn’t voice any of these thoughts to Gaia and Caesar. ’Of course, there’s no need to. They must already know.’

They also knew, however, that they couldn’t sway his decisions. Even back when Isaac was still in poor health, they had found it difficult to change his mind. Now that they couldn’t even beat him in a fight, influencing him was completely out of the question...

So, over the next few days, besides preparing the sacrificial offerings for the Black Orc God and handing over the top-secret intelligence they had gathered on the Terra Royal Family and Prince Norns, they simply explained the Knowledge of High-level Knights to Isaac.

This included, but was not limited to, the extent of a High-level Knight’s power, how to become a High-level Knight, the differences between the two Paths of the Knight, and how a High-level Knight could continue to increase their strength.

This provided Isaac with more than enough living data for his research on High-level Knights.

Of course, before asking them, Isaac didn’t mention he was preparing to "dissect" a High-level Knight. He claimed that Liu Li and Smith were on the verge of breaking through to the Advanced tier and that he was asking on their behalf to prepare in advance.

’Otherwise,’ he felt, ’saying it outright would be a tad impolite.’

Aside from this, Isaac was also conceptualizing one of the stories he planned to write for his Grand Wizard stage. For this book, Isaac had abandoned his original, somewhat risky Western-style version of *The Investiture of the Gods* and opted for a more conservative choice: *Snow White*.

It wasn’t that the latter was easier to spread. In fact, in a world where Gods truly existed, he could make *The Investiture of the Gods* wildly popular among Low-tier Professionals with just a few minor adjustments, as long as he avoided mentioning any real, existing Gods.

Moreover, its Extraordinary Concepts were far richer.

Furthermore, in Isaac’s original plan, he anticipated that his power would be abundant after advancing to Grand Wizard. Even if *The Investiture of the Gods* failed and didn’t spread, the impact would be minimal; it wasn’t as if he would be short on power from a single Magic Book.

And reality had indeed unfolded as he had predicted. His development was going extremely well—incredibly well, even. He certainly didn’t lack the power that one more Magic Book would provide.

But...

This was, after all, a plan he had made back when he had just become a Wizard. Compared to the Isaac of today, his Knowledge base was on a completely different level, and there were inevitably some aspects he hadn’t considered thoroughly enough.

For example...

Advancing to Tier Four...

The most precious thing Isaac had obtained from the battle for the island wasn’t the resource-rich island itself, but the information he had learned from the ritual’s projection during the fight: the method to advance to a Tier Four Miracle Mage!

From what Isaac knew, there were two requirements for a High-level Mage to advance to a Tier Four Miracle Mage. The first, naturally, was to record a Legend in each of their three Magic Books. Most Legendary Mages chose a Self-Legend, an autobiography of sorts. This part posed no difficulty for Isaac; he had great confidence in himself and in the classics left behind by the literary masters of his past life.

The key was the second requirement: leaving behind a Miracle!

This required Isaac to take the fantasy stories he had written in his Magic Books during his Official Wizard, Grand Wizard, and High-level Mage stages and replicate them in the Real World. He would then have to integrate them into the world’s rules, turning them into a mechanism that could operate automatically.

Under these circumstances, a more grandiose story was not necessarily better. If it was too ambitious, Isaac wouldn’t be able to replicate it, let alone leave behind a self-sustaining world mechanism...

Take *The Investiture of the Gods*, for example. ’He isn’t even a God himself, so how is he supposed to perform a Divine Enthronement for others?’

Of course, Isaac believed there must be other methods of advancement. After all, among Legendary Mages, there were plenty who, for convenience’s sake, wrote Self-Legends in all three of their Magic Books. How were they supposed to replicate that?

However, such Wizards were rare, so finding that method of advancement would naturally be difficult.

Isaac, naturally, wouldn’t mistake the means for the end.

Another reason was that the power manifested by such a Magic Book was also heavily dependent on the scope of its spread and the Wizard’s own strength. It wasn’t as simple as "write whatever you want and gain that power." The process wasn’t nearly that omnipotent.
