Chapter 181: Chapter 147: Terrifying Bahamut

The next day, Isaac went directly to the Floating City within the Sect Dimension, arriving at the seminar venue early. He figured everyone there would be his senior, so he thought it best to be early and avoid making anyone wait.

Unfortunately, when he arrived, he discovered the place was already full. Clearly, he wasn’t the only one who took this matter seriously.

Yashan and Cloth, who had greeted Isaac before, were also there. They waved at him, signaling for him to come sit with them.

At their gesture, the other Wizards turned to look at Isaac. The confusion in their eyes vanished the moment they saw him. ’Ah, it’s the Mad Witch,’ they thought. ’That explains everything.’

They had been wondering what kind of genius could develop a Magic Potion as powerful as the Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine, single-handedly cracking a problem that had stumped so many High-level Mages.

Some of them had even entertained the thought of dissecting Isaac!

Though the thought was fleeting, it was proof enough of how utterly shocked they were.

But now, all of that doubt vanished the instant they laid eyes on him.

After all, he was the Mad Witch; nothing he did was surprising. Whether he created this Magic Potion with the power of an Outer God or through his own unique abilities, either possibility seemed perfectly normal for him.

After all, compared to snatching power from an Outer God, the Dragon Transformation Potion was child’s play.

This also explained why a Magic Potion developed by a mere Official Wizard like Isaac could only be successfully crafted by a High-level Mage.

Could the Mad Witch really be considered an ordinary person?

Isaac was baffled by the change in everyone’s eyes, but it seemed...

’...like a good thing?’

Isaac cautiously made his way to Yashan and Cloth’s side and sat down. As he glanced around at the other Wizards, he noticed a strange phenomenon. He didn’t know most of the people in the room, yet as his eyes swept over them, he instantly knew their names and a summary of their past achievements.

The same thing even happened when he looked at himself!

Fortunately, it only revealed relatively ordinary information; nothing too secret was displayed. He couldn’t tell if that information was truly inaccessible, or if it just wasn’t being shown.

Still, the technology was astonishing.

As if sensing Isaac’s confusion, Yashan smiled and explained, "This is a simple Detection Magic. It collects a substance from you, a kind of ’information pheromone,’ and analyzes it to get your basic details. It’s a product of the Arcanists. They were originally trying to create a more convenient identification spell, but they failed. Since it can only get basic information, it’s mostly used in mid-to-large-sized Wizard gatherings to skip introductions."

Isaac nodded in understanding, his expression unchanging, but he made a mental note. ’When I get back, I’ll find an Outer God who deals with this sort of thing and learn some countermeasures for self-defense.’

’Yashan said it only gets basic information, but who knows what it’s really capable of? And what if someone’s already developed an improved version?’

’Who’s to say?’

While Wizards were no longer so vulnerable that a mere information leak could put them at a huge disadvantage, intelligence was still a powerful asset in a fight that couldn’t be underestimated.

Still, he had to admit it was useful. A tool like this saved a lot of trouble at gatherings. At least you didn’t have to go through tedious introductions—a single glance told you who everyone was.

With just a sweep of his eyes, Isaac knew the identities of everyone present. He had no personal memory of them, of course, but at least he could put a name to a face. Better still, the Magic also listed each Wizard’s major accomplishments, which was the most helpful part for Isaac.

He hadn’t forgotten the purpose of this seminar: to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of his Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine and, based on that analysis, figure out how to improve it.

Counting him, there were sixteen Wizards in the small room. Most were High-level Mages, with four exceptions. Three of these, like Isaac, were only Grand Wizards. They specialized in Flesh Alchemy, the Demon Transformation Technique, and Flesh Puppets, respectively, and all had made significant progress in Dragon Blood Purification.

Though not as significant as Isaac’s, of course.

Besides those three, the final exception was a Tier Four Miracle Mage. His introduction was quite simple: Bahamut Waya, the first Dragon Witch, capable of transforming into a Tier Five Legendary Giant Dragon!

Just a few words, yet the amount of information they conveyed was immense!

This was, without a doubt, a true titan!

Transformation Spells are a very special type of Magic, different from Isaac’s Transformation Magic. They are exceptionally difficult to learn because the transformation isn’t a simple change of form—it’s practically a second life.

While transformed, no matter how severe your injuries, they all vanish the moment you revert to your original form. The only drawback is that you can’t transform again for a short while!

With such an overpowered effect, the difficulty of learning it was naturally immense. First, you needed the complete corpse of a Demon. Then, you had to figure out a way to consume it entirely. You didn’t have to swallow it raw or eat it in one sitting, but every single part had to be eaten.

Only then could you extract the complete Concept and officially begin to learn the spell.

Furthermore, the time one could spend practicing this spell each day was limited. If you stayed transformed for too long, you might find yourself unable to change back—permanently, in both mind and body.
