After saying this, Liu Zheng reached for the suitcase to open it.

"Alright, put on your clothes first. I’ve packed your things for you."
As she spoke, she took down a pair of long pants from a hanger and handed them to Liu Zheng.
Liu Zheng took them, looked them over carefully, and realized they were a pair of black shorts.
Even though the shorts weren’t quite the right size, they shouldn’t look this way when worn, should they?
"Who bought these clothes? Why are they so revealing? Or did you buy them?" Liu Zheng asked.
"What’s it to you if I bought them? Is it any of your business?" Lin Ruoyun snapped back.
"Uh!"
Liu Zheng was taken aback and didn’t know what to say.
"Aren’t you going to take them off? You don’t think these are some kind of sexy lingerie, do you?" Lin Ruoyun continued to ask.
"I certainly don’t. I was just checking to see if they were couple’s items," Liu Zheng retorted with a pout.
"Then why don’t you try them on?" Lin Ruoyun suggested.
"Fine, I’ll take them off. Who’s afraid?"
As he spoke, Liu Zheng began to take off the pants.
"Don’t take them off, how can you be so annoying? Stop right now!"
Seeing Liu Zheng about to strip, Lin Ruoyun immediately yelled.
"Haha..."
Liu Zheng started to laugh loudly at Lin Ruoyun’s shyness.
"Have you laughed enough?"
Lin Ruoyun glared at him angrily.
"Not nearly enough!" Liu Zheng shook his head and replied.
"You..." Lin Ruoyun was at a loss for words.
"What about me?"
Liu Zheng inquired.
"Nothing! I’m tired, and you can go now!"
Lin Ruoyun said gruffly.
"I’m not going! I won’t leave even if you try to make me."
Liu Zheng plopped down on the sofa.
Lin Ruoyun, furious, stamped her feet and fell silent.
"By the way, Lin Ruoyun, there’s something I don’t understand."
Liu Zheng suddenly said.
"What’s that?"
Lin Ruoyun replied irritably.
"Since you’re already my girlfriend, why do you always avoid me every time you see me?"
Liu Zheng asked bluntly.
"Who said I’m your girlfriend?" Lin Ruoyun retorted angrily.
"If you’re not my girlfriend, then why do you wait for me to come home every night down at the building?"
"That’s because... because I want you to see with your own eyes who’s tougher between the two of us, who’s really the most formidable!"
Lin Ruoyun stammered for a while before squeezing out these words.
"So, you want to prove that you’re tougher than me?"
"So what if I do?"
Lin Ruoyun straightened her chest and declared.
"Alright then!"
Liu Zheng said and reached out to pull Lin Ruoyun into his arms.
"What are you doing? Pervert!"
"I am a pervert, so what?"
Lin Ruoyun, being hugged by Liu Zheng, felt her heartbeat accelerate.
"Then why not give it a try?"
Lin Ruoyun glared with wide eyes at Liu Zheng as if to say, come on if you dare!
Liu Zheng reached out and pinched Lin Ruoyun’s nose, saying, "You little minx, getting bolder by the day, even daring to challenge me!"
"Let go!"
Lin Ruoyun struggled, but her strength was no match, and she didn’t budge an inch.
"So, should I kiss you or not?"
Liu Zheng asked with a teasing smile.
"Get lost!"

Seeing Lin Ruoyun’s anger, Liu Zheng immediately changed his tune, "Alright, alright, my bad. Is that not enough for you? But can you tell me why you were waiting for me downstairs?"

"Alright, stop making a fuss. Hurry up and get dressed! I brought you a new set of clothes. Put them on quickly. I need to go shower, or else I’m going to catch a cold!" Liu Zheng said.

"No, I just don’t like to wear clothes in someone else’s home!" said Liu Zheng in his defense.
Lin Ruoyun scrutinized Liu Zheng’s body a few times and then asked, "I think you look pretty handsome in these clothes. Why are you reluctant to wear them at my house? Are you worried about being misunderstood?"
Liu Zheng nodded.
"Then let me ask you, inside your wardrobe, are all those casual clothes given to you by your girlfriend? And she’s a super beauty, isn’t she?" Lin Ruoyun asked.
"How did you know?"
Liu Zheng exclaimed in surprise.
"How could I not know? Are the two of you living together?" Lin Ruoyun asked.
"She and I are just classmates. We have a pure friendship!"
Liu Zheng quickly explained.
"Then why won’t you wear these clothes? Are they better than what I’m wearing?"
"No, I just don’t like wearing clothes at someone else’s place. Besides, we’re just classmates. I’m not your boyfriend, so why would I need to explain what I wear to you?"
Liu Zheng contested.
After a moment of silence, Lin Ruoyun slowly said, "Actually, you don’t have to be so uptight. I won’t mind."
"You won’t mind?"
"Yeah, you don’t like me anyway. We’re just plain friends. I don’t see the need to fuss over it!"
Having said that, Lin Ruoyun turned and ran into the bedroom, closing the door behind her and leaving Liu Zheng with her departing figure.
