"You didn’t hear wrong, she’s pregnant!"
"Then why does she still want to date me, and furthermore..." Chen Minghao said, his eyes glaring at Lin Ruoyun.
"You’re still too young, that’s where you’re wrong. Do you really want your mother to be bedridden forever? Also, this child is your responsibility, you must take on its upbringing."
Having said this, Lin Ruoyun stood up.
"Alright, is there anything else you want to say? If not, I’ll be leaving first!"
Lin Ruoyun turned to leave, but Chen Minghao grabbed her arm.
"Lin Ruoyun, are you really going to leave me?"
"Indeed, I’ve already promised my father, and now as your girlfriend, I shall fulfill my duties as a girlfriend."
"You...I can’t accept this!"
Chen Minghao suddenly seized Lin Ruoyun and held her tightly in his arms.
With a "snap", Chen Minghao took the jade bracelet off her wrist.
"Let go!"
Lin Ruoyun struggled desperately, but Chen Minghao held her tightly; she couldn’t break free at all.
"Chen Minghao, let me go, or I’ll scream harassment!"
Lin Ruoyun roared.
"You scream. After all, I’m no longer a virgin, so I’m not afraid of losing face!" Chen Minghao laughed sinisterly.
Hearing this, Lin Ruoyun’s face turned beet red.
"Bastard, let go of me, or don’t blame me for being ruthless!" Lin Ruoyun shouted angrily.
"Fine!" Chen Minghao sighed and released Lin Ruoyun.
He lowered his head, looking at his hands, his eyes filled with sorrow.
"Ruoyun, I really like you so much, do you know how much I love you?" Chen Minghao said to Lin Ruoyun.
Lin Ruoyun’s eyes were filled with indifference.
"Chen Minghao, do you know that, actually, I don’t like you!" Lin Ruoyun stated.
Chen Minghao was stunned; he couldn’t believe what he was hearing from Lin Ruoyun.
"What I said is true, I don’t like you." Lin Ruoyun reiterated.
"Why? Haven’t you always liked me?"
Chen Minghao said with some agitation.
"Because I despise men, so I will never fall in love with you." Lin Ruoyun said coldly.
"Why? What have I done wrong? I only like you, that’s all!"
"You don’t like me, you like my body. I know, in your eyes, women are tools to vent, so to you, I’m no different from a prostit*te."
"I don’t, I don’t!" Chen Minghao shook his head, quickly trying to explain.
"You don’t? Haha, I don’t believe you. You’re the most shameless man I’ve ever met. But I don’t want to continue to entangle with you. I’m leaving!" Lin Ruoyun stood up and walked toward the door.
"Ruoyun, I was wrong!" Chen Minghao quickly followed her.
Lin Ruoyun simply ignored Chen Minghao.
Chen Minghao followed Lin Ruoyun out of the room.
"Ruoyun, I was wrong. Give me another chance, let me be your boyfriend, please!"
Chen Minghao begged.
"We’ve had no relationship for a long time, my boyfriend has already changed!"
Having said that, Lin Ruoyun walked into the elevator.
Chen Minghao stood in front of the elevator, his face showing an expression of resentment.
"Lin Ruoyun, one day, I will make you submit beneath me, and make you realize that being Chen Minghao’s woman is the best fate!"
Lin Ruoyun walked out of the hotel, about to hail a cab when she saw Liu Zheng approaching.
Liu Zheng came to Lin Ruoyun’s side.
"You...how come you’re here?" Lin Ruoyun was a bit flustered.
She hadn’t expected Liu Zheng to be tracking her, and so closely at that.
With a smile, Liu Zheng said to Lin Ruoyun, "You think I wouldn’t come?"
"Hmph, I don’t care whether you come or not!" Lin Ruoyun said defiantly.
"Alright then, if I’m not welcome, I’ll just leave!" Saying this, Liu Zheng feigned departure, but Lin Ruoyun hastily grabbed him.
"Why are you so childish?"
"So what if I’m childish?" Liu Zheng asked.
"You...never mind, I can’t be bothered to argue with you!"
After saying that, Lin Ruoyun turned and walked away.
Liu Zheng, seeing Lin Ruoyun’s reaction, curved his lips into a smile.
He quickly ran to the car, opened the door, and sat down.
"What are you doing?"
Lin Ruoyun asked in confusion.
"Driving you home!" Liu Zheng said.
"No need!"
Lin Ruoyun was about to refuse, but she saw that Liu Zheng had already started the car.
"Where I live is none of your business. You better just drive home!" Lin Ruoyun said.
"You won’t let me care? Then I’ll care even more!"
Liu Zheng said with a smile.
"You..."
Just as Lin Ruoyun was about to explode, she suddenly realized she simply couldn’t outdo Liu Zheng and so she shut her mouth.
"Where do you want to go? I’ll take you!" Liu Zheng said cheerfully.
"No need!" Lin Ruoyun replied icily.
Upon hearing Lin Ruoyun’s words, Liu Zheng frowned slightly and then said, "I’ve said before, no matter the reason, you are my fiancée. So, willing or unwilling, you must move into my house!"
After saying that, Liu Zheng began to reverse the car.
Lin Ruoyun glared at Liu Zheng, fuming.
Soon, the car stopped outside the residential area where Lin Ruoyun lived.
"Fine, I’ll choose to trust you just this once tonight."
Lin Ruoyun said coldly.
After speaking, she got out of the car.
Liu Zheng also got out and followed her.
"Wait!"
Lin Ruoyun suddenly stopped and said.
"What’s wrong? You’re not going to renege, are you?" Liu Zheng asked with a mischievous grin.
"I am not, let’s go!"
Lin Ruoyun said and turned to head home.
"Hold on, I’ll escort you back!"
Liu Zheng chased after her.
"I don’t need it!"
Lin Ruoyun snapped back.
"Oh, come on, don’t be mad. I’m just trying to be nice. Look at me, I haven’t even had dinner yet. What if I starve?" Liu Zheng said.
"If you’re going to starve, go find somewhere to eat by yourself. Why do you have to follow me?" Lin Ruoyun said.
"If I go eat out, then there’ll be no one to escort you back. So, it’s safer to follow you!"
Liu Zheng said with a laugh.
Lin Ruoyun ignored him.
The two arrived upstairs.
"What on earth do you want?" Lin Ruoyun asked.
"What do you think?"
Liu Zheng replied with a mysteriously playful smile.
"You..."
Lin Ruoyun wanted to curse someone out, but not knowing who to curse, she huffed off towards her home.
"By the way, what’s your door number?"
Liu Zheng caught up and asked.
"My apartment number is... 8013."
After saying this, Lin Ruoyun immediately ran towards her place.
Liu Zheng couldn’t help but smile at Lin Ruoyun’s actions.
"Hehe... looks like this girl is afraid I’m going to do something to her?"
Liu Zheng chuckled mischievously and followed her into the residential area.
Upon entering, Lin Ruoyun took out her keys and unlocked the door.
Lin Ruoyun went inside, locked the door, and then headed towards the bedroom.
Liu Zheng followed behind Lin Ruoyun.
When seeing that there was no one in the room, a trace of disappointment crossed Lin Ruoyun’s pretty face.
"Where did that damn woman go? Could she have returned to her parental home? That doesn’t seem right!"
Lin Ruoyun thought for a long time but couldn’t figure it out and eventually gave up; after all, she had no loss to speak of.
Lin Ruoyun opened her suitcase and began to arrange the clothes.
"Hey, no peeking!"
Just then, Liu Zheng suddenly rushed to the bedroom door, pushed Lin Ruoyun aside, and his hand reached for the suitcase.
"You..."
Lin Ruoyun was nearly pushed to the ground by Liu Zheng but luckily caught herself on the wall.
"What’s the matter with me?" Liu Zheng asked with a smile.
"Nothing’s the matter!"
Lin Ruoyun said stiffly.
"Then why are you still standing there? Get me in!" Liu Zheng pointed to the suitcase and said.
"I won’t!"
