After having breakfast together, the two went their separate ways, Liu Zheng to register at school, and Zhao Xiaoqian to go to work at her company.
However, they hadnít been out of the house long when they were suddenly surrounded by two police cars in the middle of the road.
A police officer climbed out of the car and an older officer approached, pointing at Zhao Xiaoqian and demanding, "What’s your name?"
Zhao Xiaoqian was startled and quickly replied, "My name is Zhao Xiaoqian!"
The older officer snorted and said, "Since youíre Zhao Xiaoqian, then you must be aware of your actions last night on the street, killing a person and smashing a truck beyond recognition, right? Now, we suspect you of intentional assault, please come with us for further investigation!"
"What? Kill someone? How could I possibly kill anyone? I didn’t lay a hand on anyone!" Zhao Xiaoqian panicked. She couldnít believe she was being framed for something she did last night on the street! Glancing at Liu Zheng standing beside her, her eyes filled with a resentful expression. It was all Liu Zheng’s fault; if he hadnít mentioned going to the party last night, she wouldn’t have gone with him, and she wouldnít be in this trouble!
It was all Liu Zheng’s fault! If not for him, she wouldn’t be wronged. If not for him, she wouldn’t have disappeared for a whole day, to the extent that even her father couldn’t find her!

Liu Zheng smiled dismissively and said, "It’s none of my business who you are, but Iíd like to know why you want to arrest me? I have absolutely nothing to do with any criminals."
The young police officer snorted, "Indeed, you have no connections with them, but you are one of the criminal suspects they are looking for, so now you must cooperate with our investigation!"
"I am innocent, why should I cooperate with you?" Liu Zheng said coldly.
The young police officer no longer paid him any mind and directly signaled to two plainclothes officers behind him to pin Liu Zheng to the ground and handcuff him. Liu Zheng struggled to resist but was held down by the shoulders.
Seeing Liu Zheng still struggling, the young officer slapped him hard across the face, covering it in blood.
Liu Zheng glared at the officer and said, "You hit me?"
"Yes, I did. You are a criminal, and I’m hitting you. Now, shut your mouth immediately," the young police officer bellowed.

Just as Liu Zheng was about to retort, another officer kicked him, which finally subdued him.
The young officer, seeing that Liu Zheng had calmed down, walked over, took out handcuffs, and slapped them onto his own wrist.
"All right, Mr. Liu, please come with us," said the young police officer.
Liu Zheng tried to stand up but found himself completely immobilized.
Seeing this, the young officer walked over and punched the other side of Liu Zheng’s face, then secured the handcuffs on his right wrist.
