Chapter 510: Chapter 509: Realizing One’s Mistakes

"You mean, you want to take me shopping?"

"Yeah!" Liu Zheng nodded, "Not just the two of us, I’m also going to call a few friends to join us. After all, I have to accompany my girlfriend to go shopping too!"

Chen Fei’er thought about it and felt that Liu Zheng made sense, so she agreed.

The next day, Chen Fei’er put on her favorite clothes and left the house with Liu Zheng. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Liu Zheng had prepared a car for her and then drove her to go shopping. Sitting in the passenger seat, Chen Fei’er asked excitedly, "Honey, where are we going shopping now?"

Liu Zheng thought for a moment and said, "How about we go to the amusement park?"

Upon hearing this, Chen Fei’er’s eyes lit up and she said, "The amusement park? Great! Honey, you’re so good to me. I love you to death." After saying that, Chen Fei’er kissed Liu Zheng hard on the face, startling him to no end. He quickly stopped the car by the roadside, then turned his head to look at her.

Seeing Liu Zheng’s surprised expression, Chen Fei’er giggled, then said, "Alright honey, let’s go!" After that, Chen Fei’er pushed open the car door and hopped out.

"Hey, wifey, wait for me, I’ll get your bag for you!" After speaking, Liu Zheng got out of the car and ran towards Chen Fei’er.

Chen Fei’er looked back at Liu Zheng and felt incredibly sweet inside. Her boyfriend was really great, not only handsome but also capable and always so compliant with her. She had never met a boyfriend like him before.

The two of them walked hand in hand towards the amusement park. However, as they walked, Liu Zheng stopped, then pointed at the Ferris wheel in front of them and said, "Wifey, look at that Ferris wheel." After he had spoken, he stretched out his finger towards the Ferris wheel not far away.

Chen Fei’er looked up and indeed, the Ferris wheel had been almost completely repaired. However, there was a row of flower baskets placed beneath the Ferris wheel, all filled with vivid and luscious roses, dazzling to those who saw them.

"Wow, honey, you’re so romantic." After saying that, Chen Fei’er ran towards the row of flower baskets, then crouched down to inspect the baskets closely.

"Honey, are these flowers you got for me?" Chen Fei’er asked.

Liu Zheng nodded and said, "This is a flower basket I custom ordered online, unique in the world."

Hearing this, Chen Fei’er became even happier and said, "Thank you, honey, I really like you so much!" Having said that, Chen Fei’er hugged Liu Zheng.

Liu Zheng was also very excited and said, "Wifey, marrying you is the luckiest thing of my life!"

"Hehe, thank you, honey."

"Wifey, let’s go have fun!" Liu Zheng said with a smile.

Mmm." Chen Fei’er stood up, then took Liu Zheng’s arm and they boarded the Ferris wheel.

The Ferris wheel began to rise slowly, but because it was surrounded by fresh flowers, the entire Ferris wheel became very beautiful. Chen Fei’er and Liu Zheng were inside the Ferris wheel, enjoying this rare moment of peace.

When the Ferris wheel reached the very top, Liu Zheng lifted the lid and then leaned over to kiss Chen Fei’er. The two of them kissed passionately as if they had forgotten all the troubles of the world until they found it hard to breathe and finally parted.

Liu Zheng cradled Chen Fei’er’s cheeks, looked at her earnestly, and said, "Wifey, you truly are the greatest blessing I’ve encountered in my life. Without you, I don’t know what hardships I would have faced. Now, I just hope that our life together will be smooth sailing and safe."

Chen Fei’er looked at Liu Zheng, smiled, and said, "Don’t worry, from now on, whatever we do will be smooth sailing, but we still need to work harder, you know."

Liu Zheng nodded and said, "Of course, wifey, let’s go, let’s go eat!"

"Okay!"

The two casually found a restaurant nearby and sat down. After settling in, Liu Zheng grabbed the menu and handed it over to Chen Fei’er to order.

"Honey, you order! See if there’s anything you like," Liu Zheng said tenderly.

Chen Fei’er took the menu, flipped through it, and saw that there were many items she liked. After some consideration, she pointed to a pizza that looked expensive but was actually very cheap and said, "Hubby, this pizza is really cheap. Let’s go with this one!"

Liu Zheng took a look, then nodded and replied, "Okay, let’s get that one."

"Mhm."

Once the server brought over the pizza, Chen Fei’er started eating with a fork. Liu Zheng couldn’t help but smile as he watched her eat, then he too began to dig in.

The two slowly savored the delicious meal, and after they were done, Chen Fei’er ordered a bottle of red wine. Sipping on the wine and chatting, they found their own kind of enjoyment in the moment.

However, dinner ended a bit early with Chen Fei’er feeling slightly tipsy.

"Hubby, let’s go home and sleep," Chen Fei’er said, standing up and ready to leave. Unfortunately, just as she took a step, someone supported her.

Chen Fei’er opened her bleary eyes to see who it was— it turned out to be the young waitress.

"Young lady..."

The waitress shook her head and said, "Sister Chen, don’t go. You’re drunk now. It’s not convenient for you to go home alone. Let me take you to a hotel!" After saying this, the young lady helped Chen Fei’er toward the exit.

"But I..." Chen Fei’er wanted to refuse, but the young lady interrupted her firmly, "Sister Chen, rest assured, I’ll reimburse you for today’s expenses." With that, she helped Chen Fei’er leave the restaurant.

Liu Zheng had just come back outside and saw the young lady taking Chen Fei’er away, so he hurried over and called out, "Young lady, what are you doing?"

The waitress looked back, smiled, and said, "Boss, I sent the customer home. Put the remaining bill on me; I’m heading off." Without giving Liu Zheng another thought, the waitress hurried away.

Liu Zheng stood there, puzzled. He felt there was something odd about the waitress, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it.

"Hubby, what are you spacing out for?" Suddenly, Chen Fei’er popped up from behind and patted Liu Zheng.

"Ah, nothing. You said earlier that you wanted to leave the money here, so I settled the bill and now I’ll take you home," Liu Zheng said, leading Chen Fei’er by the hand toward the exit.

Liu Zheng and Chen Fei’er had just reached the main entrance when Chen Fei’er’s phone rang. Answering the call, she heard Liu Zheng’s voice on the other end saying, "Baby, I’m at the entrance. Hurry up and come out to meet me."

"Oh, okay, just wait a sec; coming right now!" she said and hung up.

Seeing how anxious Chen Fei’er was, Liu Zheng couldn’t help asking, "Whose call was that? You seemed to be in quite a hurry?"

Chen Fei’er looked at him and said, "No, it’s nothing! I’m just worried about Brother Si Chen. He drank a lot and now he’s out in the rain. What if he catches a cold?"

"He’s out in the rain?" Liu Zheng frowned. Although he knew Liu Zheng wasn’t the type to drink excessively, he hadn’t expected him to be caught in the rain—it was indeed a surprise.

"Yeah!" With that, Chen Fei’er pulled Liu Zheng quickly to the car, and they got in. Liu Zheng drove towards the Li Family’s home, and on the way, neither of them spoke. Liu Zheng focused on driving, while Chen Fei’er was preoccupied with the idea of Liu Zheng being in the rain.

At the Li Family’s home.
