Chapter 12: Chapter 10: Wang Biao’s Rampage, 1 vs. 10
BANG BANG BANG!
Inside the dorm, Chen Chong and his two roommates had just finished eating and were resting on their beds when they heard a noise from outside the door.
"Who the hell is so rude?" Xu Jun asked, annoyed.
This wasn’t normal knocking at all; it was more like someone was trying to break the door down.
Fuming, Xu Jun stormed over to open the door, only to freeze on the spot.
Because standing outside was Du Ming, and behind him, about ten of his followers.
All around them, a crowd of students from the same dorm building had gathered to watch the show...
Even though he was outnumbered, Xu Jun wasn’t afraid. He barked, "Du Ming, did you bring all these people here to start trouble?"
Du Ming, who was leading the group, chuckled. "Now, why would you say that? As a member of the student council and the chief of our sixth floor, why would I ever cause trouble?"
Then, he continued.
"It’s just that our floor’s Fire Axe has gone missing. It’s the shared property of our floor, and I heard from other students that your room was the one that took it, so..."
Xu Jun understood. Du Ming had brought all these people here for the sole purpose of picking a fight.
It wasn’t just the Fire Axe; there were plenty of other tools outside, all of which had been snatched up by others on the first day. It was finder’s keepers.
Du Ming wasn’t going after anyone else, just their dorm. The implication was obvious.
"Yeah, we took it. What are you going to do about it?"
Seeing Xu Jun’s defiant attitude, Du Ming showed no reaction on the surface, but inwardly he was pleased rather than angry.
’This is exactly the attitude I was hoping for,’ he thought. ’How else could I make my move?’
Before the transmigration, Xu Jun and Chen Chong had always been two troublemakers. The other dorms were all respectful when they saw him, the floor chief, but every time he came to dorm 603, they were either playing games or talking back to him.
Du Ming had long been annoyed with the two of them, and they had completely ignored him during his previous speech.
Besides, more than half the students on the sixth floor were still hesitant about his proposal to band together. Making an example of these two was the perfect solution.
’Things are different after the transmigration. If a real fight breaks out, no one would care if I killed them...’
"Xu Jun, you took our sixth floor’s Fire Axe, and you’re still talking like that? It’s like you have no respect for anyone else. Also..."
Du Ming sniffed the air, then glanced into the room and saw the bones on the floor. He immediately raised his voice.
"You even hunted a pheasant? See? How could you possibly have hunted it without the Fire Axe in your hands? That’s our shared weapon! I should have been the one to hunt with it and bring the food back for everyone to eat!"
As soon as he said this, many of the students in the gawking crowd craned their necks to look into the dorm.
Although they couldn’t see what was in the pot, the bones and a few long pheasant feathers on the floor were clearly visible.
This got the crowd of students excited. They hadn’t eaten meat in two days and were so hungry they could eat dirt.
"It really is a pheasant! It smells so good!"
"Yeah, I smelled chicken soup earlier but thought I was hallucinating. I can’t believe it’s real!"
"Floor Chief Du is right! The Fire Axe belongs to everyone on our floor. Since you used it to get a pheasant, you should share it with everyone."
"Don’t hog it all for yourselves..."
One voice after another piped up from the crowd.
It didn’t matter whether they were genuinely supporting Du Ming or were just jealous that Chen Chong’s group was eating meat.
This scene was exactly what Du Ming had hoped to see.
He wanted to use the pressure of the crowd to teach Chen Chong and Xu Jun a harsh lesson and make an example of them to establish his own authority!
"Bullshit!" Xu Jun finally exploded. "Why don’t you try hunting a pheasant with a Fire Axe and see how that goes?"
Du Ming shouted back, "How would you have caught it without the Fire Axe? Don’t tell me you know how to hunt! You obviously relied on the tool that belongs to the entire sixth floor! The meat you two ate belongs to all of us on the sixth floor!"
Xu Jun clenched his fists so hard they cracked. This Du Ming was a complete scoundrel.
Just as he was about to attack, Chen Chong stepped forward and stopped him.
"So you want some meat? Sure. I’ll let you eat your fill."
As he spoke, Chen Chong whipped his hand out from behind his back and slapped all the leftover chicken bones right into Du Ming’s face.
"Ah!"
Du Ming cried out in pain. His face was covered in saliva and bone fragments, and he could barely open his eyes.
"Fuck, Chen Chong, you son of a..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Chen Chong’s palm was already whistling through the air.
SLAP!
The crisp sound echoed through the floor.
Du Ming, already blinded by the bones, lost his balance from the slap and was sent sprawling to the ground.
"How dare you hit Brother Ming?"
The ten or so people who had come with Du Ming were instantly enraged, baring their teeth as they prepared to attack.
Chen Chong had already pulled Xu Jun to the side as Wang Biao, who could no longer hold himself back, charged forward.
"You dare offend my Master? Die!"
Wang Biao’s voice was like thunder, his presence like that of a wrathful deity.
He grabbed the two men at the front, and with a great heave, lifted them right off the ground.
THUD!
With a vicious swing, he slammed the two men heavily onto the floor. They kicked up a cloud of dust and were knocked out cold.
Next, Wang Biao shot out a kick, the immense force sending several more who had just pushed their way in flying backward.
He followed them out into the hallway and began to unleash a flurry of kicks and punches.
His every move was incredibly fast and immensely powerful.
A single punch could send a man flying.
With his fists a blur, he kept the ten-odd men from getting anywhere near him.
Two men managed to use the chaos to get behind Wang Biao. One wrapped an arm around his neck while the other hooked his leg, trying to trip him.
But no matter how hard they tried, Wang Biao stood as if rooted to the spot, completely unmoving.
Instead, with a casual flick of his arms, Wang Biao sent both men flying into a wall before they crashed heavily to the ground.
In his hands, a dozen able-bodied college students were complete pushovers. It was a completely one-sided beatdown.
All the students watching from the sidelines were dumbfounded.
Xu Jun was also stunned.
He knew Wang Biao was a Martial Artist and a formidable fighter, but seeing it with his own eyes was still shocking.
The scene couldn’t help but bring a certain phrase to mind... ’I’ll take on ten men!’
In less than thirty seconds, Du Ming and the dozen or so lackeys he had brought with him were all lying on the ground.
Only then did Chen Chong step forward, his cold gaze sweeping over the surroundings.
"Anyone else want the axe? Or the meat?"
All the students were scared silent, not daring to make a sound. Even those who had been instigated by Du Ming and were clamoring for meat were now completely mute.
Seeing that no one was speaking, Chen Chong glanced at Du Ming, who was still on the floor.
He remembered that the man hadn’t gotten up since being slapped to the ground, and Wang Biao hadn’t touched him either.
’Why is he so still now?’
’Was my slap that powerful?’
’Is he playing dead?’
"Wang Biao, give him a good, hard kick," Chen Chong said.
Without a word, Wang Biao stomped his foot right on Du Ming’s crotch.
The kick was incredibly forceful.
"AAAAAGH!!!"
Du Ming’s squeal, like a pig being slaughtered, instantly echoed throughout the entire dormitory building.
The students who witnessed this were all terrified, feeling a phantom pain as they instinctively covered their own groins.
Even Chen Chong was a little surprised.
He hadn’t expected Wang Biao to be so thorough. He had only told him to give Du Ming a hard kick to teach him a lesson.
He never imagined Wang Biao would stomp on him like he was trying to kill him.
That spot, with that much force...
Du Ming was probably ruined for life.
