If it were the physical card of the Divine Flame Emperor, when activating the "trap destruction" ability, the opponent could not activate a Magic Trap in response.
But comparatively, the physical card Divine Flame Emperor could only destroy one cover card per turn, unlike the animated version that could sweep all traps.

In other words, even if the Bishop resurrects any monster from the graveyard by chaining the Divine Flame Emperor’s effect, then as the Divine Flame Emperor’s effect is processed next, the Call of the Living Dead would be destroyed, and the monster bound to it would also be destroyed. Thus, the resurrection would be meaningless.

Then a pitch-black thunder boomed in the void. It was the demon’s claw from the abyss, bringing a profound darkness, indefinable evil, tearing the night’s tranquility.
Concepts beyond human understanding converged in that eradicating thunder, like the most primordial, pure malice born at the world’s inception. That ultimate darkness gathered into a massive shadow, like a moving darkness, gradually transforming into annihilating claws, an indescribable and incomprehensible terrifying Demon God.
Evil God Eraser, descend!
The entire field instantly fell into tremors.
All the disciples, at this moment, all prostrated themselves in devotion and fear, chanting some prayer incantation.
Fierce winds howled, lightning roared. Even the sky seemed to be falling, all things lost their color and meaning before the Evil God.
Yugen looked up, staring directly at the storm and that towering giant shadow, mumbling.
"Evil God Eraser. So, this is your true form."
Silence guarded tensely beside him. Even the Chaos Warrior, who seldom appeared, floated beside him, hand on the hilt, and said in a deep voice, "Be careful, this opponent is exceptional."
"Ah, I know," Yugen said.
The Bishop, or rather now the summoned Eraser, let out a cold laugh.
"Indeed, it is I."
"So the Descent Sect was your handiwork...or perhaps your brothers had a part in it?" Yugen said.
Evil God Eraser was a card personally completed by Beckas under what seemed to be Evil God’s manipulation, one of the three Evil God Cards.
The three Evil Gods as Beckas called them correspond and are even said to surpass the power of the Three Phantom Gods, but are darker, more malevolent. Each Evil God corresponds to a Phantom God, equal in divinity and rank.
The Eraser is precisely the first Evil God among the three Evil Gods, corresponding to the Phantom God’s "Osiris the Sky Dragon."
Just as the Traitorous Dragon is the lowest among the three Phantom God brothers, Eraser is also the little brother among the three Evil Gods.
Of course, even so, it’s still a genuine god.

Phantom Gods and Evil Gods alike, before being summoned to the field, are considered just an ordinary card; any resistance is ineffective. Hence, it is resurrected from the graveyard by a trap card to the field.
But once summoned to the field, they transform from a "card" into a "god." A god does not accept trap effect influences and thus would not retreat from the field due to trap side effects.
This is akin to the physical card bureau’s adjustments, like "Return from the Other Dimension" and "Elemental Hero Wild Hero."
Return from the Dimension can bring banished monsters back to the field, and Elemental Hero Wild Hero can be called back to the field with this effect.
But the side effect of Return is, at the end of the turn, monsters summoned by this effect are re-banished. And Wild Hero is unaffected by trap effects, so once summoned back, it won’t be banished again.
The handling of resistance on this Eraser before us is analogous.
