But Kira remained perfectly calm about his monster being taken out for free. The shockwave from Malefic Cyber End Dragon, after crushing Shining Angel, didn’t hit Kira directly. Instead, his field activated a milky-white barrier, blocking the blast like a defensive wall.
"Field Spell ’The Sanctuary in the Sky’ effect," Kira explained. "All battle damage to me from battles involving Fairy monsters becomes zero."
Paradox frowned.
So that’s why he was so cocky—he’s relying on the field for immunity.
"But even so, this is a meaningless battle," he sneered.
He hadn’t finished speaking when Kira smiled, "No need to rush. I also have the Continuous Spell, ’Fountain in the Sky.’"
The destroyed Shining Angel’s afterimage rose from the fountain, feathers dripping with water. The angel seemed to morph into spirit form, its released energy flowing into Kira.
"Fountain in the Sky: every time a LIGHT monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, I can banish it, and recover Life Points equal to its ATK.
Shining Angel’s ATK is 1400, so I banish it from the graveyard and recover 1400 LP."

A beam of light shot from his deck, forming the pure image of another holy angel—white robes, halos, and wings, like a classic mythological angel.

"Special Summon ’Nova Summoner!’" Kira said.

Of course, the second Nova was destroyed, and Kira healed again.
