Chapter 1503: Chapter 922: This Is Tomb King Nite

After Solar disappeared, the crowd exchanged confused glances.

"What does this mean?"

What did Solar mean by a choice of audience? Is Solar starting to speak in riddles?

"Although it’s a bit hard to understand the situation," Leon said as he stuffed the mask dropped by the three Corpse Warlocks into his backpack, "but if we brainstorm a bit, he means this coffin can lead to some place?"

Where can a coffin lead? The only thing people can think of is probably the Netherworld.

But after staying in the Sain Dungeon for a long time, people naturally synchronized their brainwaves with Sain, and at this moment, they could perfectly guess Solar’s meaning.

Maru cautiously peeked inside the coffin. It was pitch black, with nothing inside, emitting a damp, moldy smell that a cemetery should have. Just looking at it made one unwilling to lie down inside.

"Ugh, so disgusting. If I lived in a place like this after I died, I would be restless."

She suppressed her disgust and reached inside to feel around. Her hand encountered a thick layer of dust soaked with water, leaving a slippery and odd texture.

Normally, such a damp Underground Space like the Giant Tomb indicates a nearby water source, but along the way, they hadn’t seen anything related to water.

"The coffin is empty, and there are no mechanisms. There won’t be a trap door opening when someone lies inside like in the dramas."

Dwarf Drew didn’t even need to bend over, directly pointing at the coffin and said:

"The place the coffin links to is empty, with the wind blowing inside. If we move the coffin away, surely there’s a path."

He was spot on; behind the wall was indeed empty.

"Such a convenient height." Fran Guard couldn’t help but remark, "No need to bend over, must be nice when you’re old."

Luckily, Drew didn’t hear that comment.

The room where the three Corpse Warlocks were had coffins straightly embedded into the wall, besides the masks on the wall, only the one before them was half pulled out from the wall.

Through the gap between the coffin and the wall, people could discover that the wall behind wasn’t solid, with cold wind blowing from within.

Shooting a Lighting Technique into the gap, the group saw the light source drop straight downwards without any sound of hitting the ground.

Does that mean there’s a cliff behind the coffin wall?

Even if they pulled the coffin out, they would struggle to survive a rapid fall from unknown heights, not to mention the unknown situation inside.

Fran Guard pondered and said, "I’m willing to go first. Apply Flying Skill and Levitation Skill on me. I’ll try to figure out the danger below."

Dal shook his head, "No way. Currently, any loss of personnel isn’t replaceable, and we can’t take that risk. If anyone should go, it should be me."

"Or I could try. If I face danger, I can hide in shadows," Maru bravely suggested.

"Perhaps we should temporarily ignore this and continue exploring deeper along the room’s path. If we find a bonfire, we can return later."

Everyone proposed different suggestions and solutions, and at this moment, Leon suddenly spoke:

"Isn’t it possible for us to lie in the coffin and try dropping further down?"

Everyone fell silent after hearing his words, and simultaneously looked at Leon.

"What’s wrong? Why are you looking at me? I just think the coffin might work as a buffer for landing."

"You’re really something..." Dal pinched his brow, his expression strange, "In a way, it matches the style of the Sain Dungeon."

"That’s just like you." Drew also gave a thumbs up.

"Your words make it seem like I’m in sync with Sain..." Leon said.

Everyone gave him a look that said "Isn’t it?"

Soon, Leon was armed to the teeth and equipped with Defense Magic reducing damage, lying straight inside the coffin, with a communication Magic Tool beside his ear.

"Boss, are you really ready?" Maru asked with concern as she held the coffin lid.

She mainly feared Leon might develop a new habit if something unusual happened after he fell.

"I’m ready, close the lid." Leon crossed his arms on his chest and smiled confidently yet warmly.

Earlier, when Fran Guard volunteered to go down, everyone tried to stop him, but when Leon decided to take the risk to pave the way, it suddenly seemed normal to everyone.

Probably because he gave off the vibe of someone who could endure and come through anything?

Dal and Fran Guard joined forces to completely cover the heavy coffin lid, the last trace of light on Leon’s face disappearing. He entered a cramped, dark space that would terrify anyone with claustrophobia.

Thoughtfully, Drew applied Magic to strengthen the connection between the coffin and the lid, and then everyone counted down and exerted force to push the coffin down.

The large coffin quickly disappeared from their senses as it fell downwards.

No sound of something heavy hitting the ground for a long time, it was unknown if Leon had landed.
