Chapter 191: Cafe Outing With My Sister

I didn’t really have anything planned for us but my sister seemed to have ideas as she was already barging into my room early the next morning.

"Gor Gor!! Wakey wakey!! It’s... Eh? You wake up already ah?"

I closed the cupboard to hide the hoodie I was using last night for my vigilante activities to scowl at her, "Why do you always just barge into my room? Also, it’s barely eight in the morning. Why the heck are you here so early?"

She did a running jump and dove into my bed to wrap herself up with my blanket, "Mmmm~ I thought I could come and take another quick nap with you before we leave~"

I huffed at her, "If you want to sleep, just go sleep in your room."

"But your bed is so much more comfier~"

"We have the exact same beds, what are you talking about?"

"Noooo~ Yours is different~ Hmmm?"

She paused and looked down at the bed, giving it a few pats before turning to narrow her eyes at me.

I raised an eyebrow when she kept staring, wondering what she was thinking about.

Her body seemed to blur for a moment before a copy of her detached herself from her to walk over to my door and closed it before disappearing into thin air.

"Where were you last night, Gor Gor?" She asked with narrowed eyes.

I kept my face neutral while acting like I was confused, "What are you talking about? I was sleeping here. Duh?"

"Your bed is cold."

"Err... Yeah? I’ve been up for a while."

"Doing what?"

"... Texting?"

"At eight am in the morning?"

"I was sending messages to my colleagues back on the island. Some of them are early risers."

"You got out of bed just to text? Long enough for the bed to be cold?"

Damnit... As expected of my sister... She’s too smart for me to bluff with just this.

I sighed, "Fine... Don’t tell our parents but I was out exercising. I did not go through the front door."

"And by exercising... Do you mean going out to beat up some bad guys?"

"I don’t know what you’re talking about? I just went out for a run and--"

"You have blood on the side of your cheek."

I turned towards the mirror that was hanging on my cupboard, only to see there wasn’t any blood.

"I lied. But that confirms it..." My sister muttered.

Tsk...

I turned back to face my sister, "What do you want?"

She didn’t say anything and patted the space beside her on the bed.

I figured that she wanted me to sit there so I went over and settled down on the bed, though a little further than where she had patted.

She pouted and scooted over until she could grab onto my arm to pout up at me.

"Mmmm!!!"

I raised an eyebrow, "What?"

"Mmmmmm!!"

"If you don’t say anything, I don’t know what you want."

"Mmmmmmm!!!"

She’s just making those noises while pouting at me... What does she expect me to do?

Well... Her pouty face is pretty cute with those puffed up cheeks so I went ahead to pinch her cheeks.

"Mnnggghhh!!" She protested, still not using words to communicate.

A lightbulb lit up in my head and I let out a sigh, "Fine... We can go and eat some sweets at that cafe you like later."

She immediately perked up and proceeded to hug me while rubbing her face in my chest.

"Yayyyy! I love you Gor Gor!! You’re the best!! Oh what’s this? You just woke up? It’s still early so let’s take a nap first!!"

I couldn’t even say anything as she pulled me back down on the bed and started fake snoring.

Ughh... Whatever... I suppose I might as well just let her do what she wants for now... She’s helping me keep my secret after all.

*

I raised an eyebrow at the spread of dishes in front of me, all of them containing a different kind of sweet which my sister was currently enjoying.

She even split herself into three to sit on the other side of me in the booth just so that she could eat all of them with more efficiency.

We were in one of the neighbourhood cafes that was obviously catered to social media influencers with their decor and theme.

In other words, there was an abundance of young women and couples in this place and the food here was also overpriced.

And this sister of mine quite literally ordered basically half of the menu...

Just for the record... Her appetite isn’t increased from having more bodies and she eats the same amount even if she has more clones of herself...

She’s planning to taste all of these and only eat what she likes while leaving the rest for me to finish and of course for me to pay...

This isn’t even the first time she did this to me, though I suppose the difference this time was that I should be able to finish everything without feeling bloated thanks to being able to convert what I eat into Qi.

Well... I just need to put up with the glances from the others around us as they watched what they could only assume was the sight of a guy taking a triplet sibling out on a cafe date.

It didn’t help that she was also wearing different clothes too.

I’m not too sure about this since I never bothered to ask, but part of her ability apparently also allows her to summon clones with clothes that she has worn before.

At least... I think that’s how it works...

She wouldn’t tell me even if I asked and she’s intentionally evasive when talking about it for some reason.

I sipped on my tea while peering at my sister enjoying her sweets over the rim of my cup, watching her stuff her mouths full of the desserts.

She noticed me and her lips curled up in a mischievous smile which I already knew was a sign she was up to no good even before she opened her mouth to speak.

She cut a piece of the cake with her fork and lifted it up to my mouth, "Ahhhhn~"

I rolled my eyes at her and opened my mouth for her to stuff that cake into my mouth.

The other two clones beside her also did the same thing, one with pudding and the other with half of a macaroon.

I didn’t even get to finish chewing the first cake before they stuffed them into my mouth.

"How is it?" The three of them asked at the same time.

"Meh," I told her.

I mean... It’s ok... I just had better. And it’s hard to taste anything when she’s shoved three different sweets into my mouth at the same time.

I don’t even know how she can taste with three different bodies since she’s supposed to operate on a hivemind for her clones.

I’m already struggling with managing multiple arms by myself and yet she’s able to manage multiple bodies on her own... I guess something like this would be normal for her.

I wonder... Maybe if I can learn from her how she controls her clones, I could also increase the number of arms I can summon?

But getting her to talk about her ability is harder than trying to get Ava to stop trying to flirt with me though...

She smirked at me, "Aiyah~ You have three beautiful girls feeding you sweets~ At least show a better reaction~"

"Let me know when the beautiful girls show up then."

She kicked me lightly under the table, only to wince in pain when she did so.

I rolled my eyes at her, "You might as well be kicking a brick wall, stupid."

"Grrrr! You’re the stupid one! I’m not feeding you anymore!"

"Then finish all the food. I’m not eating any of it for you."

"Noooooo! Please don’t! I can’t finish everything by myself!"

"Who told you to order so many things?"

"But they all look so good! I can’t help myself! Don’t waste food leh! Finish them for me!"

Well... We were raised by our parents to not waste food after all so it would feel bad if we actually had leftovers...

I was about to sigh and assure her that I will finish everything when the door to the cafe opened and another bunch of girls walked in.

I frowned when they seemed familiar to me but I don’t know why, only to suddenly remember that they were those ’friends’ of my sister that had been spreading those bad rumours about her.

Because her back was facing the door, they did not immediately see my sister and went over to another empty table to sit down instead.

And because of that, my sister was also blissfully unaware that those ’friends’ of hers are here.

God damn it... I think it would be a good idea for us to try and leave without them noticing...
