Chapter 606: Chapter 605: Reunion

Archer Quinn stepped forward, using the farewell as an excuse, and finally embraced her openly.

Although Ethan was between them, it helped ease her awkwardness.

Archer was reluctant to let go, but he had to.

He gave Bella a quick hug and released her.

Bella smiled and said, "Goodbye, Senior Quinn."

"Goodbye, Bella." Archer wanted so much to tell her not to leave, that he could take better care of her than Damian. But he couldn’t say it, because he had willingly stepped back into the role of a good friend and could never cross that line again.

Otherwise, they would truly become the most familiar strangers.

Reflecting on the inner torment during this time, Archer gave a bitter smile.

He would rather be her lifelong friend than become a stranger to her.

Not long after Archer left, the airport hall broadcasted a call urging Bella and their group to check in and board.

Ethan had woken up, holding Bella’s fingers while standing by her side.

Judy Zimmerman walked ahead with the tickets, and the three of them went one by one through the check-in and headed to the gate. Bella looked back one last time.

Goodbye, Creston!

Goodbye, my twenty years of youth!

Goodbye, my... love!

Five years later.

Outside the bustling airport hall exit, a woman in an off-the-shoulder edelweiss dress took off her sunglasses and looked up at the azure sky.

"Mommy, where is Grandma?" A little girl in a matching dress ran over and hugged the woman’s leg, her ivory-like little hand pressing down on the hat on her head, asking with an adorable face lifted.

Smiling, the woman nudged aside a wisp of hair from the little girl’s rosy cheek and said, "Just wait a little longer; Grandma will be here soon."

"Alright." The little girl nodded, let go of the woman’s dress, and went to hold the hand of the little uncle beside her. "Uncle, do you know Grandma?"

The boy, not yet eleven, nodded coolly, already showing the handsome features of a young man.

"Talia, are you hot? Should Aunt Judy take your hat off?" Judy, pushing a luggage cart, asked, imitating a child’s tone on purpose.

"Nope." The little girl pressed on her cute hat and said seriously, "Talia wants to be pretty. Uncle, am I pretty?"

"Yes, Talia is the prettiest." The cool little boy nodded again.

"Hee hee, uncle is the best. Talia likes uncle the most." The little girl said happily, swinging the little boy’s hand back and forth.

Judy found it amusing and suggested, "Bella, Ms. Cheney will be here soon. Why don’t we sit over there and wait?"

The elegantly dressed woman, returning after five years, known as Bella, shook her head with a smile, "No need. The sun isn’t too hot today; we’ll wait here..."

Before she could finish her sentence, her phone rang from her bag.

Bella took out her phone and saw it was Senior Quinn calling. She smiled slightly and answered, "Senior Quinn, did you time your call just as I got off the plane?"

Archer’s warm, gentle laugh came from the other end, "I just finished shooting a scene. Shall we get together tonight?"

Bella was about to respond when she suddenly noticed a group of bodyguards in black suits escorting a stern-looking man out of the airport exit with a commanding presence.
