Chapter 83: This Lenovo did not have a twin

Noah did not know why Michael was suddenly like that, it worried him, and Michael did not tell him either. He only said he began to miss him so much that it felt like his heart was ripping apart, and that was why he ran back.

He wasn’t crying but the anxiety coming off of him was too much. It was as if he had seen a ghost... Had he?

"I told you, I’m fine." Michael said, smiling and waving Noah’s worries aside. "I told you. I suddenly began to miss you. That’s why I ran back. It was as if the world was ripping you away from me." He laughed dryly and his eyes fell to the ground.

"I told you it was better if I went to get them." Noah said and Michael nodded.

"Yeah, I guess I should’ve listened when you said you’d go instead." Michael said. "But what if I had felt the way I did when you weren’t here?" He raised his head. "I’d have run outside, not knowing the direction you went, and searched around like a mad person." He laughed, even though that didn’t sound like a joke. "I guess we’ll be tied together from now on."

Noah looked at Michael with a skeptical gaze.

He saw something that frightened him, he was sure of it. But what was it? Or rather, who was it?

"If you’re fine then it’s good." Noah said and kissed the top of his head. "Do you still intend on making tomato paste?"

"Yeah," Michael got up and Noah got up as well. "But I should probably go wash up first. I was breaking out in cold sweat for no reason; now I feel uncomfortable in my shirt."

"Alright." Noah said. "I’ll watch the tomatoes in the meantime." Michael nodded.

Noah watched Michael as he headed for the room, a heavy uncertainty resting on his heart.

It felt like something had gone wrong at some point and because of that, everything would fall apart.

"Michael," Noah called just before he opened the room door. "Do you want us to move?"

That was a question Michael pondered on quite a bit.

Since they couldn’t flee the country, they could go live on an island. Buy a house there and live the rest of their peaceful days there.

Hearing this, Michael smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, let’s do that." He said. "After Christmas and the new year, we’ll go find a house that you and I can stay. In a place where no one will ever bother us."

Noah smiled warmly.

"I’d like that." He watched the door close that smile on his face faded as he bit his lip and clenched his fist.

It was a life he wished he could live with Michael. A peaceful life with the one he loved but... He covered his face regretfully... His time was nearly up.

He’d have to leave soon. Once that happened, what would Michael say?

’I hope he agrees to leave with me.’ he thought. ’If I can’t find a way, I’ll just have to make a way.’

Michael didn’t want Noah to know he had found something about his background, still under the delusion that Michael was suffering from amnesia.

But what were the odds that Noah was related to the Lenovo family? The world was so big. How did someone like that round up in this part of the city?

But it wasn’t confirmed. He didn’t know if Noah was a twin or just a mere double-ganger.

He decided to do his research.

He searched up information about the Lenovo family and saw Noah. No, he saw the guy that looked like Noah.

Noah Lenovo is the young master of the Lenovo family and the current richest young individual in the entire country.

He had billions stacked on his name. A character that one could only see from a fantasy book.

"Haa," Michael jammed his fingers through his hair.

This Lenovo did not have a twin.

’Then it’s impossible. Noah isn’t related to Lenovo.’ Michael thought in relief but then creased his forehead. ’How is it that they have the same name and the same face? Such a coincidence isn’t real. Are they double gangers in the werewolf world?’

He couldn’t understand.

But then he remembered that rich people could find a stand-in when their significant party was missing. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

It was done so that their enemies wouldn’t use it as an advantage to get a hold of him.

Then, that means the Noah he saw on the screen was fake and the real Noah, the young master of the Lenovo family with billions to his name, was in his kitchen watching Tomatoes with no idea of his true identity.

This was the conclusion he came to and it stressed him.

Why? Just why did it have to be such an important character? It would’ve been better if Noah belonged to a small werewolf family.

So, why was he...?

He bit his lip.

"If we run now, we might be able to avoid them and they would never find us." He mumbled to himself. "Their family is thriving with the stand in so they probably don’t need Noah. I’ll take care of him. I’ll be good to him." He felt frustrated and suddenly drained.

He needed Noah.

Michael went to the bathroom and as soon as he walked in, he felt nauseous again and threw up.

Noah’s ear perked up as he heard the sounds of Michael throwing up.

He immediately went to the bathroom to see what was going on.

"Michael?" He saw him hurled on the ground, holding the toilet seat and throwing up.

Noah quickly rushed to him and patted his back.

"What’s going on? Why are you throwing up?" He asked but it wasn’t like Michael could answer when he was occupied with emptying his stomach.

Once he was done, Noah splashed water on his face and head to cool him down.

"What happened?" Noah asked but Michael could only shake his head.

Once again, he was blaming his unsettled nerves for his vomit. He was thinking too hard about Noah’s issue that it was causing his stomach to feel rather uncomfortable.

"Should we go see a doctor?" Noah suggested.

"And what are you going to tell him once he sees that I have a womb and the structure of a woman?" Michael asked and this silenced Noah. "Just forget it. It’s not such a big deal. I might just be over-excited because Christmas is in less than 48 hours."

Noah sighed.

"Are you sure?" He asked and Michael nodded.

"Yeah, a little tummy rub should do the trick." He said and got up with Noah’s help. "I’ll bathe now. Wanna help?"

There was no way Noah would let him be after he just threw up his entire insides. He held Michael and helped him scrub his back.

He was gentle and passionate, expressing how much he treasurer Michael with how carefully he was handling him.

"Are you okay?" Noah asked once they were in the living room and he carried Michael like a baby.

Michael had his legs and arms wrapped around Noah as he rested his head on his shoulder and Noah held him steady with one hand on his butt.

"Yeah," Michael muttered softly. "It’s too bad I can’t make the tomato paste anymore." He said.

He felt a little bit weak.

Thankfully, he wasn’t burning up so they were sure he wasn’t having a fever. It could’ve just been a stomach ache.

"I’ve ordered pizza like you wanted." Noah said. "With no onion and extra pepperoni."

"Thanks, Noah." Michael said with a soft voice.

"Do you want to sleep first?" Noah asked and Michael yawned.

"Yeah. Wake me when the pizza is here." He said and closed his eyes, snuggling his head on Noah properly.

He was glad Noah had the strength to carry him. They could stay like this for about an hour and Noah still wouldn’t get tired.

Noah paced the living room slowly and gently so that Michael could feel comfortable while he slept.

Then, the doorbell rang and Noah went to open the door. The pizza delivery man had his face down with the face cap he was wearing covering most of his face.

"Thank you." Noah said as he took the box of pizza with his free hand. "My partner seemed to be having an upset stomach and threw up quite a lot. Now he’s weak, but he’s craving pizza. That’s why we ordered so late."

"I understand." He said.

"It would be nice if I knew the reason behind it though." He added. "He always seems healthy so this time, we don’t know what’s wrong with him."

"You must really love your partner for you to carry him like that." The man said, raising his gaze to show the long scar on his face. Noah paused for a moment, looking at Michael, who was still sound asleep.

"I do." He finally answered and brought his gaze back to the man, a warning glare as he added. "And I would love to spend the rest of my life with him. So, I wish to make that possible. Goodbye." He shut the door and the scarred man stood there for a while before turning around to leave.

He got the message. He just needed to get results.

But that last part from Noah got him a bit worried.

He wished to spend the rest of his life with that man? Well, there would be a huge storm waiting for him, and it was up to him to navigate his ship so it doesn’t capsize.

’I hope you’ll be okay,’ he tilted his cap. ’Alpha Noah.’
